Prologue: Facing the Truth; a Truth of Lies
Giovanni
Shoot, this boy is good... I thought to myself as I faced down the boy who had taken down many of Team Rocket. He was good, I'd give him that much. Even though those Pokemon of his hadn't even all evolved, I still had to pull most of my tricks, and I was still losing. He had attacked me with everything he had, and had grown quite a considerable bit since I had last seen him. His Poliwhirl was excellent, as was his Snorlax, and he had gotten smarter himself. He was now facing off with me, seriously, like I had started to actually go all out.
I grit my teeth, attempting to keep my cool and stay calm. Dang he's tough. I thought again. I almost thought of letting him win but dismissed the idea immediately. Team Rocket needs people like him, strong, determined, and always staying true to his friends. 'Honest' people, people I could trust. Sure Lt. Surge, Koga, and Sabrina were loyal, but they just weren't strong enough to do some of the things I needed done. And besides, he wouldn't like me letting him win, he just wasn't one of those guys. He'd probably hunt me down for a rematch.
Well, what now... I thought. I was losing and I only had one trick that I could pull, should I? It was dirty, rude, crude, uncivilized and cruel, so probably not. Will I? Well, I had to, so probably. I pulled out another pokeball and switched Nidoqueen out when he wasn't paying attention, looking down at his broken pokeballs that trapped his Venasaur and a few others. My last resort, the Nidoqueen I had raised from an egg, full health and at least 50 levels higher than my other. My partner that no one had met yet, it had been years since she'd been out.
I went through the motions of destroying his Pikachu and he sure surprised me when he managed a thunderbolt with his glove, heh smart kid, he'd make a valuable addition to the team. Good thing I did that switch... Nidoqueen went down, badly bruised and cut, that Pikachu was strong and managed to do a good amount of damage to a pokemon 40 levels higher than itself, but it got back up, which shocked Red to no end, he just stood there, gaping. Then, while he was distracted and helpless, I took out his last pokemon, Pikachu. His eyes went wide and he fell to his knees, looking at his hands. "How..." he breathed. "How..."
I smirked a him. "Alright Red, stay true to your promise. I'll give you one day to pack and say bye, on one condition. You can't tell anyone of the predicament you're in. Besides, it's classfied, you'd have to kill them anyways." I smirked my signature smirk. "See ya here at Six Thirty Red." I walked off and chortled, then took out a walkie-talkie with the Rocket insignia. "Come in, Admin 1, Everything is going according to plan."
