The snow was relentless. It continued for several days, piling higher and higher until it trapped the pack inside a wall of snow as high as their roof.

The entire pack worked together to reinforce the windows with wooden boards while also keeping the back door cleared so they could climb out and continue to scavenge for food.

Nothing seemed to be enough, though. When a week of nonstop snow had passed, everyone was starting to go a little stir crazy.

It wasn't uncommon for someone to usher the kids to one end of the house to the other when one of the couples grew... restless.

But there was nothing else for them to do.

Hunting had to be done in large groups because it was too dangerous and there was no point in doing patrols because nothing was out in this weather.

Well... One one creature was.

Jongho hummed happily to himself while slipping on a pair of sweatpants and grabbing a towel to dry his hair. His wolf was spinning with happiness and he was having a hard time containing the smile tearing across his face.

His plan was finally complete. After spending a few hours each day out in the freezing cold, Jongho was ready to take action.

He picked up on his mate's delicious pine scent and followed it to where his beta was lying in Wooyoung and San's room with Wooyoung and Chan.

They were all staring at the pages of the book Wooyoung held in his hand. His sweet voice brought the words to life, weaving a tale of heroes and dragons and adventure, and Chan was eating up every second of it.

Yunho poked his head up the instant he sensed his mate and gave a lopsided smile.

With one jerk of his head, Jongho called him over and waited for him in the hall.

"What is it?" Yunho asked, a curious twinkle lighting up his eyes.

"I want to show you something." Jongho took his hand and pulled him toward the back door.

"What? The new layer of snow that accumulated in the past hour?" Yunho chuckled but followed his alpha obediently. As he always would.

Jongho just smirked and shook his head. "No. Something better. But we have to travel for it."

When Yunho hesitated for a moment, he gripped his mate's waist and spun them around so that Yunho was pressed against the wall. "Are you not willing to trust your alpha?" Jongho growled while furiously scenting the mark he had left on Yunho's neck all those years ago.

"N-No, I n-ne-"

"Then follow Alpha." Jongho nipped at the skin in front of him twice. His wolf was begging to come forward already, but he needed to keep it reigned in for now.

Yunho, however, was obviously weak at the knees but he way he started to slide down the wall.

The alpha smirked and glanced around the living room before pulling his shirt over his head. His beta followed suite and soon they were both stepping out into the freezing cold to shift into their wolf forms.

Why are we doing this? Yunho asked with a slight whine. He shivered and pressed himself against his naturally warmer mate.

Trust me. Jongho chuckled and licked the tip of Yunho's nose before walking up the snow steps they had so carefully carved.

He loved that his mate had no argument for him and followed behind him. They trudged through the snow together, walking along the path they had naturally carved out with their bodies everything they went hunting.

It grew shallower once they hit the trees and it became easier for them to move around.

Jongho took the chance to nip at Yunho's front leg. The beta narrowed his eyes before using his height to jump on top of Jongho and knock him to the ground.

The two of them wrestled around for a few minutes, nipping at each other's ears and the fur on their neck, before Jongho got up and started running in the direction of their destination.

He was having a hard time containing his excitement. His tail flicked back and forth quickly, and he kept leaning into Yunho's side.

Jongho, what on earth is going on? Yunho asked, eyeing him suspiciously.

I just wanted to do something special for you, is that so wrong? The alpha answered with a quick nip at Yunho's cheek. So impatient.

Well how can I not be? You're dragging me out in the middle of a snow storm!

It's not that bad right now. Besides, we are here. Jongho jerked his head and watched with an admiring gaze as Yunho turned to look in front of them.

A large, snowy dome had been built in the middle of a small clearing. Jongho had come to work on it a little every single day, making it tall enough for Yunho to stand up in and wide enough to accommodate a fire and both of them to lay down in. There was a entrance up front that they'd have to crawl through, but the snow was wet enough that he could make it a little bigger.

What... What is it? Yunho asked, stepping forward slowly. His nose twitched as he scented the air, looking for any signs of danger.

It's something I learned from my pack. We call them Snow Domes, for obvious reasons, but it's something we we learned several generations ago from a traveling pack.

Yunho turned to look at him and tilted his head. You built these at your pack?

Yeah. Jongho sat down and dipped his head a little. It had been a long time since he had even thought about his old pack and he was honestly surprised he even remembered how to build this.

I had no idea. You never talk about them...

Well it doesn't matter. Jongho shook his head. Come on, follow me.

The alpha lowered himself onto his belly and crawled inside. He sensed his mate coming in behind him and moved out of the way.

With both of them in wolf form it was a little cramped, but Jongho allowed Yunho a moment to take in the inside.

Jongho had made a few modifications. On one side he had carved out a little pit which he had lined with rocks and placed some coals in to burn. It was meant as a way to keep the area warm, but not support a full blown fire. He had also laid several furs on the ground as a barrier between them and the snow.

It was something that wouldn't last forever, but it would stand up to the storm and would be easy to repair.

When the alpha looked at his mate again, he noticed the fur beneath Yunho's eyes was damp. He extended his neck to give a few loving licks before transforming back to his human form.

Yunho did the same and immediately shoved his nose into his alpha's neck. "This is amazing. Thank you."

"You don't need to thank me." Jongho whispered. He started to rub his hands up and down Yunho's back in a loving manner. "The house was getting a little cramped for my taste." His voice dropped and he dragged his lips across the younger's skin.

The beta shuddered and bared his neck. "Alpha."

Jongho purred at the term and started furiously scenting Yunho's mark. He could already feel himself growing hard. "That's right, my pretty beta. Alpha is here."

He slowly lowered Yunho down onto the furs and the two of them exchanged a passionate, greedy kiss full of teeth and tongue.

Out of all the couples, Jongho knew he was the least affectionate toward his mate and it was something he felt guilty about, but that's why he liked to do things like this. He always did his best to make sure Yunho still knew just how important he was.

There was no one else he'd rather be with.

A thin layer of sweat started to coat their skin, making it easier for them to rub against each other. Especially when Jongho started to grind his hips, dragging his length across his beta's and pulling out a breathy whine.

Nails dragged along his back, making Jongho hiss. His wolf came forward and he chose a spot on Yunho's collarbone to suck on, bringing forth a deep red mark.

Yunho squirmed beneath him, jerking his hips with each drag of his alpha's length against his own

It was so easy to do this to him. Jongho couldn't help but smirk before flipping his mate onto his stomach and pulling his hips up.

The beta yelped and grabbed a fist full of furs in his hands. "A-Alph- AH!" He cried out when Jongho simultaneously tugged on his length and pressed his tongue against his rim.

Jongho could feel how overwhelmed his mate was getting and he loved every second of it. Making his mate feel good brought great pride to his wolf.

As he continued to lap at his mate's entrance, Jongho moved his hips to drag his own against the beta's hips. He could feel his precum dribbling out and used that to slick up his own length as best he could.

"Jon- Jong-" Yunho whimpered, twisting his back to try and look at his alpha. His eyelids fluttered and his lips were red and puffy from constantly biting them.

"Yes, precious?" Jongho pulled away and licked his lips, humming slightly. He ran his hands up his beta's thighs, over his hips, and then onto the small of his back to push him so that he was laying down. Yunho groaned when Jongho laid on top of him and slotted his length between his cheeks and started to grind against him.

"N-Need... Oh fuck." Yunho's hand flew back and grabbed his alpha's ass as he tried to turn again.

Jongho just growled and forced him to stay flat. His instincts were taking over, so much so that all he could think about was grinding furiously against his mate and claiming him once more.

After a few minutes he grabbed a bottle of lube he had stashed here and started to work his fingers into his mate, working him open so that he was ready to take Jongho's knot.

Yunho cried out in pleasure when Jongho found his sweet spot, and the alpha pressed two fingers against it to constantly work it, loving how Yunho was caught between squirming beneath him and being pinned to the furs.

"Alpha... Please! N-Need you." Yunho's eyes glowed blue beneath his hooded lids and his tongue poked out the side of his mouth.

When Jongho felt he was ready he sucked on Yunho's right ear, drawing attention away from the stretch that was about to happen, before pushing himself inside. They both groaned and the new connection between them.

Jongho let them savor the new feeling for a moment before he started to thrust into his mate.

He could feel his own mind turning to mush at the pleasure he was feeling. His mate was always so tight around him. He loved it so much.  "So good. So good for Alpha."

Yunho nodded and pushed against the ground so he could force them both onto their sides. The alpha used this to his advantage and lifted Yunho's leg up, digging his fingers into the beta's meaty thighs, and started to jerk his hips at a rapid pace.

With one hand, Jongho gently placed his hand on Yunho's throat and pulled his head back so they could connect their lips once more.

Just that little touch made him want to go into over drive and he pulled Yunho as close as he possible could.

They both moaned into the kiss, working their lips furiously as if to swallow the sound and comfort the other.

The moment Jongho's know burst, he hugged Yunho to him so they could both scent their mating marks. It was a beautiful moment that made building this place in the middle of a snow storm worth it.

"Thank you." Yunho whispered. "I think we both needed this." He added with a teasing tone.

"I know I did." Jongho placed kiss after kiss against his mate's smooth, sweaty skin. "And I have no intention on being like Seonghwa and Mingi. They don't understand the concept of quiet."

The beta laughed, his eyes crinkling at the corner with pure joy. "No, no they do not. Does anyone else know about this place?"

"No." Jongho whispered into his mate's ear. "This is all for you."

Yunho blushed and his chest started to vibrate in a low rumble. "I love you so much, Alpha. Can we stay here? How long will this thing last?"

"Awhile. I built it pretty thick."

"It's incredible. How come this is the first I'm hearing about it?" Yunho looked back at his alpha and reached an arm back to tease Jongho's coppery hair.

"I honestly forgot about it until now. We haven't need to build a shelter like this, and the one time I can think of we might have needed one we didn't have the time."

"I wish you would tell me more about your past."

Jongho kissed Yunho's cheek. "There's not much to talk about. They left me. And I'm so glad they did because then I would have never met you."

He could sense a little unease coming from his mate, but neither of them spoke about it. Instead, they laid together and enjoyed the warmth coming off the coals, as well as the firs. It was a perfect moment that allowed them to be connected, just the two of them, and savor their mating bond.

And Jongho loved every moment of it. Just as he loved his mate.

Nothing would ever change that.

For they had all eternity to be together.
