Hey everybody! Ok, so in the comments you were all saying how Akira should have chosen Fairytail, I'm also well aware that they're are many other awesome anime's out there. I just wanted to let you know, that I was planning for Akira to have those powers one day.

Just make note that I'm not giving Akira any super totally unfair powers, like One punch man or Death note (It wouldn't be much fun would it? Just write down 'Blackbeard' and 'Akainu' and they die?)

Akira's POV:

Anime. Powers. Rule.

Not to mention that its so easy to use. Literally.

I was some distance from the town where Luffy would be heading to. I was testing powers from all the animes I chosen and the extra powers. Not to mention the skills I've acquired from pretty much every anime out there (including there voices and characters)

I suppose out of happiness, excitement, and that I'm alone I let my childishness nature come out.

"Character change!" Night blue ears and a tail magically appeared. Instantly my senses were sharper and my body felt so easy to move. I jumped through trees, occasionally hanging from my tail, or doing inhumanly flexible moves (which was actually kind of scary to be honest)

"This is awesome Eve!" I laughed in delight. I jumped back in front of Eve with a mock bow, Eve jumped on my white fedora with a small mewl of chuckles. I made my ears and tail disappear as I walked towards the town.

"I still can't believe I'm in One Piece, thank you my older look-a-like/dad" I said out loud. He probably heard it since Eve's necklace glowed a little before dimming. Anyway, down to business, after all I'm still 12-years old in the harsh world of crazy and probably inhuman people/monsters.

Well, there is a reason why they call Devil fruits, DEVIL fruits. Too bad they can't swim. I distantly wondered if I would be considered a devil since I have powers that would be probably on par or even above par with devil fruits. And I can swim, quite well in my merboy form as well.

I tipped my fedora down a bit as the sun blinded my new half-supernatural eyes (or at least thats what dad calls them)

Doing that Eve slightly tumbled a bit and landed on my shoulders, while I gave a small rub on the neck of apology. "Ok, Eve, down to business. The only people we can trust in this world is you, me, Luffy, and probably the rest of the Strawhats Pirates. Please note Eve, that I do trust the Strawhat Pirates, but to fit more into this world, we have to start out like we're meeting them for the first time so don't forget they can betray us at any moment."

I know it was probably a weird decision. But even if this is a anime world, its also reality (for the anime characters and me I suppose) with something as corrupted as the World Government, not to mention overly greedy and dangerous enemies.

I took Eevee off my shoulder and made eye contact. I gave a serious face before I smiled childishly, "We have to survive to! But if the magic of the bond 'nakama' is really all that powerful...Saa..I wonder what that would feel like...to have nakama."

You could say that back in the real world, besides being a popular child prodigy and all, everything was pretty much black and white. Just adults trying to draw you to there greedy needs, thinking they can just fling me around since I'm a child.

I let out a small laugh as I put Eve on my shoulder. 'Someone who will always have your back..someone you can trust with ease...someone where you can just be yourself...that's kind of stupid in a way..' I mentally chuckled.

I rested my eyes on Luffy and Coby who were entering the town. "Nakama..its a pretty strange word isn't it Eve?" I asked with a close-eyed smile as I ran towards the entrance of the town.

Life is so easy with this kind of speed.

I watched as Luffy and Coby came up to Captain Morgan AKA metalmouth's base, also known as the ugly marine tower. Behind me, quite a few meters away was the marine base.

I tipped down my fedora as Eve for some reason narrowed his eyes and growled. "Stand down Eve, that's the main character, our soon-to-be captain, and the future pirate king you challenging." I whispered, scratching his neck gently.

I popped a lollipop in my mouth a grinned as I walked up to the future pirate king. Lets go right to the point shall we? I don't think Luffy would understand it any other way to be honest~

3rd POV:

"Wow...that child stands out, ne Luffy-san? Luffy-san?" Coby stopped when he realized that his new friend was not paying attention.

Luffy was staring dumbly at something. Coby followed his vision to see the guy he was originally talking about.

A child with long dark turquoise blue hair that was styled in a model manner was walking...straight towards them?

Coby found himself absorbed in some kind of trance. Everyone else seemed the same, not being able to take there eyes off the child whose face was shadowed by a white fedora with a light blue ribbon that flowed slightly behind him.

"He...feels..different." Luffy mumbled out. "Luffy-san?" Coby looked at Luffy with confusion considering this was the first time he seen his energetic friend be quiet.

"Pfft! Really? I get that a lot, but I'll take it as a compliment." The boy turned his attention on them and stopped walking in front of them. 'How did he hear from that far away?' Coby thought still in slight trance.

Using one finger he tipped up his fedora showing blinding beautiful blue eyes full of different colors. 'He has the sea in his eyes...' Coby thought, 'Wait, what am I saying?!'

The boy winked playfully, "Name's Meredith D. Akira, its nice to meet you Future-King-of-the-Pirates-san, and Future-marine-captain-san."

Coby jumped back in shock. "A-A-A-A-A-RE YOU TALKING ABOUT ME?!" He shouted in shock. Taking the lollipop out of his mouth, Akira leaned forward and smiled politely at me, "I don't see another future-marine-captain around here, you?"

"T-T-T-T-THERE IS N-NO WAY I COULD BE A M-MARINE CAPTAIN!" Coby protested loudly.

Akira plopped the lollipop back into his mouth nonchalantly, "But you will. After all, I saw it."

"S-Saw it?!" Coby shouted in confusion. Taking the lollipop out of his mouth again, Akira close-eyed smiled at Coby. "Yep. I'm a fortune-teller, in other words a psychic. Nice to meet you too, Coby who dreams to be an Admiral. Quite a big dream for someone like you, but you have well-hidden potential."

Luffy, who was quiet the entire time while listening had his soon-to-be signature strawhat shadowing his eyes.

"THATS SO COOOOOOOLLLL!!!!!" He finally exploded with stars in his eyes. Coby jumped back in shock while Akira chuckled before finishing the lollipop and making it disappear with a flick of his hands like magic (A/N: Akira was using the powers of the anime Magic Kaito, basically the main character is a magician) much to the delight of Luffy.

"Ne! Ne! What do you see in my future?!" Luffy nagged excitedly. "Hmm...Well you're kind of too busy at the moment for me to perform a ceremony for your fortune. Aren't you going to go free your soon-to be second-mate from his low backstabbing coming soon execution?"

"Are you talking about Zoro?! Is he my new second mate?! ALRIGHT!" Luffy celebrated loudly much to the amusement of Akira and still in confused shock Coby.

"Wait, Second mate?" Luffy stopped abruptly. "Then whose my first-mate, Mystery-eyes tell me!" Luffy nagged the child fortune-teller.

'Mystery eyes? I know my new look is surprising by to the point to be put on Luffy's mystery level? This is going to be a pain someday, I just know it...' Akira thought with a mixture of annoyance and amusement.

Akira smiled a close-eyed smile while holding his fedora and tipping his head to the side with a childish air. "Nice to meet you too, Captain~ Me and Eve will be joining your crew."

Coby's mouth dropped while Luffy was celebrating in the back of having a fortune-teller as a first mate.

Akira merely chuckled. "Wait, whose Eve?" Luffy stopped abruptly again as he asked his new first-mate bluntly.

Akira chuckled as an adorable fox like chestnut brown creature jumped out of Akira's backpack onto his fedora and gave a small head bow and greeting. "Eevee, eevee, vee!"

Akira explained how Eve can only speak his own name as a language.

Luffy nodded seriously before turning to Eve. "Evee? voo! Veevsoo!" Luffy said with his mouth stretching in various ways.

"..."

Eve was definitely not impressed.

Akira smiled with hidden laughter while Coby looked at the still serious Luffy. "...Luffy-san..."

It seems like Coby was also not impressed.

Akira did a close-eyed smile. "Ma, I admire your hilariously stupid effort, lets go get our swordsman, Captain. Follow me."

Akira turned around as he walked away. "Okay!" Luffy said happily as he followed.

Coby just stood there. 'Did Akira-kun just insult Luffy-san unconsciously?'
