I'm pretty sure I love Damon even more in the seventies. It's awesome how you incorporated all of the slang and whatnot of the seventies, and it only makes it more cooler and realistic. Freya is an amazing character because she's so cool and poetic, and she seems to bring out the soft side of Damon. The two of them are so cute together, and I really liked it when they danced to the Jazz and Freya was shocked that Damon knew how to dance to jazz. I can't wait to read more of their growing relationship!

This is the first Damon story I've seen that isn't set present day Mystic Falls so it's insanely refreshing to see that this is set in the 70s. I like how Freya's a past flame, but he still thinks about her in spite of Elena, reminiscing about the good ol' days. I can't get over how original this idea is, I'm like in love and I can't get enough. I cannot wait to see where this goes, consider me hooked! You have the 70s down too, it's so perfect my god.

I can honestly say that this fic is one of the best damon fics I've read. This is such an original storyline and I'm absolutely in love with it. Your writing has me feeling like I'm in 1970's New York alongside Freya and Damon. Speaking of Freya and Damon, the chemistry you've created between them within the flashbacks is so fluid, so amazing and I love it. Freya is such an original character - a girl who clearly can handle her shit and her bourbon. And Jenna Dewan-Tatum is such a refreshing face claim to see! I can't wait to see more Freya and Damon, this story has definitely got me hooked!
