Bdubs stood in front of his apartment complex entrance. His gaze kept going back and forth between the concrete and the 3rd floor where his apartment was. He had no idea if the Mangler was even there, or If he had even seen or knew Stress was there. Bdubs pulled his gaze away and landed on Keralis as he ran up with Xisuma. Bdubs had gone ahead to make sure there was no horrible smell from his apartment, or that's at least what he told them. When he had gone up he couldn't bring himself to open the door. He stared at his reflection in the knob as his hand shook before it, as if the knob would melt off the door at any second. Bdubs greeted the two with a smile and the three of them then all made their way into the elevator. Once inside, Bdubs put the floor number in.

"When was the last time you think we've seen Stress, Shashwamy?" Keralis asked, his voice getting giddier with every word.

"It's been a few weeks, what's got you all riled up?" The tall brit chuckled with a smile on his face.

"I don't know, I guess all these friend gatherings with everyone just get me really excited!" The two laughed a bit until the ding of the elevator notified them of their stop. The three of them walked out and down the hall as Keralis and Xisuma continued their conversation. Bdubs walked down the hall with a different feeling than the two, he was worried. 'So he must be gone, right? There is no way this guy would have the patience to have waited for him to return. But then Bdubs remembered that the Mangler already had the patience to set a trap, stalk him, and figure out his identity, so maybe he might just have a bit of patience left.

"Is everything okay Bubbles? You look a little pale." Keralis asked with a concerned tone. Bdubs blinked as he looked back at him.

"Oh, yeah no I'm fine! Just a little worried about my apartment that's all," Bdubs scratched the back of his head as he continued walking.

"I'm sure you can figure out a way to fix it," X said, his hand on his shoulder. "Let's just go see everyone and just relax! That sounds nice doesn't it?" Bdubs smiled as he looked up at the Brit.

"Yeah! Yeah...it does," X gave him a thumbs up as they reached Bdubs and Stress's apartment doors. Bdubs stared at his door for a long second, before speeding back up to his friends. Keralis grabbed the door knob and swung the door open, startling their host.

"Stress! How are you?" Keralis asked with his hands spread out. Stress popped out from another room as a grin formed on her face.

"Oh! Hahaha Keralis! Glad y'all made it." Stress pulled Keralis into a hug as X began to chuckle. "Hey you too! Come 'ere luv!" Stress reached out her arms for the Brit, X smiling and joining in on the hug.

"Come on Bubbles!" Keralis gestured for Bdubs to join in.

"Hah no I think I'm good," Bdubs said laughing a little. Despite Bdubs response, Stress put her arm on his shoulder, pulling him into the three's hug fest. For a second, all of Bdubs stress went away. It soon returned as the hug broke.

"I'm so happy yall can be here! We are going to have so much fun!" Stress cheered.

The four friends all sat on the couch, followed up by the usual chit chat these guys usually had. Their talk was interrupted by a knocking noise from the door.

"Oh! I bet that's Iskall and the others!" Stress got up out of her seat and walked over to the door. She opened the door to be greeted by Iskall, Mumbo, Grian, and False.

"Hallo Stress, it's great to see you!" The swede reached out his hand for a handshake, Stress countering it with a secret handshake the two had learned.

"Great to see you too luv!" The newcomers and Stress all took a seat at Stress's living room and greeted everyone. When conversation really started to pick up again, Bdubs seemed like he really had relaxed now. He went to take a sip from his cup when he felt a tap on his shoulder. When he turned around he was greeted by Stress, who smiled at him.

"Hey Stress? What can I do for you?" He asked as he twirled the drink in his hands. Stress reached out and put a hand on his arm, stopping the cup from swishing.

"Can I talk to you in private for a moment, it'll be quick so don't worry about missing anything." She said. Bdubs nodded, setting it down on the closet surface. Stress opened the door to her room and stepped in. Bdubs had seen the room many times so just casually followed in. As Bdubds walked he felt something was wrong. Something about the way Stress looking at him and talked felt a bit off to him. His heart began to race as he cautiously continued to follow her. Stress spun around towards Bdubs, facing him.

"So what was it you wanted to talk about?" Bdubs asked. Stress smiled as her eyes looked past Bdubs gaze. Bdubs followed her gaze, his eyes locking with the tall figure that stood there. He rose from behind the door, stepping out into the yellow light of the light bulbs above.

"Hello Bdubs." The Mangler smiled as he greeted his foe with a bow. Bdubs's eyes widened in fear as he quickly whipped back to face Stress in disbelief. As he turned, Stress's eyes began to roll into the back of her head and her body fell onto the hard floor, he watched as her gaze fell into an unseeable abyss. Out of instinct, Bdubs quickly dove for his friend. "Don't worry, she's fine. Still breathing, not dead if that is what you are thinking." The Mangler said as his hand fell onto his hip. Bdubs looked on in shock before lunging forward. He summoned an energy orb, swinging his hand straight towards the Manglers torn face. Metal quickly clung to Bdubs wrist as the Mangler caught Bdubs hand, the orb stopping right before his face.

"What did you do?!" Bdubs shouted, his emotions began to spin. Why Stress, and what if he does the same to everyone else. All of his friends right now are sitting unknowingly in a room next to a villain. The Mangler's smile faded into a frown as his metal hand shakily gripped tighter against Bdubs wrist.

"Calm down Bubbles, I just made her faint temporarily. She'll wake up in around...30 minutes?" The Mangler smiled once more. Bdubs jerked his hand away, rubbing his wrist with his other hand. "Here we need to talk about something." Bdubs stared at the Mangler in shock.

"Hah! Well isn't this the dumbest way to do so! I swear I'm going to..to-" Bdubs paused. what would he do? "I'll smash your stupid little robot face in!" The Mangler seemed to find his very real threat funny as he let out a small chuckle. The Villain stood there as Bdubs continued. "You have my name already! So go ahead and just expose my identity to the world if that's what you were planning! Go on about your evil life knowing you 'defeated' your foe!" Bdubs flung his arms up in anger and turned to face away from the cyborg. Bdubs felt the darting gaze of The Mangler, and realized that ranting would have no help. He turned back around and proceeded to clear his throat. The Mangler stared back at him with a cold angry stare. Had he said something? If so what? Bdubs didn't even think back to what he said before letting his mouth run on.

"Oh, what are you gonna do, manipulate my body with your weird cyborg magic?" Bdubs said in a mocking tone. There was silence for a moment until Bdubs realized how much he was going to regret that statement.

"Well, If you say so." The Mangler's hand flung forward, Bdubs couldnt react as his body was thrown back into the wall. The collision caused multiple items to go falling off of their shelves, the noise echoing throughout the small space. "Now. As I was saying," The Mangler said almost in a whisper. "I'm not going to reveal your secret just yet. If I did the fun would end all too fast." Bdubs height had truly failed him in this situation, as the Mangler's eye level was a decent distance above Bdubs. "This is going to last as long as I want it to be," He paused for a second before stepping back, Bdubs could not move. Suddenly there was footsteps outside the door.

"Hey is everything alright in there?" It was Xisuma. They had probably heard the loud thud of the things falling off the shelf. The Mangler looked towards the door for a moment, then back at Bdubs who was still under his control. He crossed back over to the Hero, placing his hand on his chin.

"Until next time LuxShield." Bdubs gasped as he felt motion in his body again. He jerked forward and off the wall in time to see the Mangler jump out of the window, his metal hand scraping down against the hard brick. Xisuma opened the door, behind him was Mumbo and Keralis. The three ran in and immediately went to Stress who was still unconscious on the floor. Bdubs could hear their concerned words, but none of it registered. His mind replayed his encounter with the Mangler in his head. As his face went red he quickly spun away from the window, walking over to his dear friends. 'Stupid Villains.'

I have so much more....I guess you could call it semi fluff? Coming soon in the story. And again. Flourid3 wrote and edited so much for this so thanks to him again. Lol can u guess which parts he wrote ;3 (He is a excellent writer and I highly recommend his story "Blade of the Devil")
