SPOILERS IN THE ART!!!!

Bdubs sat in silence on the couch. His gaze landed on the clock, 7:00. A rustling noise sounded from the other side of the room as Keralis stepped out of the bathroom.

"Did you seriously have to wake me up, at 7 AM!" Bdubs shouted. Keralis giggled and grabbed a cup off the counter with a small sticky note attached to it.

"Would you have preferred Shashwamy wake you up at 6:00 when he got up?" Keralis asked, sitting down next to his overly tired friend. Bdubs watched as Keralis took a sip from the cup. X must have made him some tea when he left because the sticky note on the side read, 'Made you some tea friend, its honey. -X'. Bdubs sighed and grabbed the pillow he had slept with.

"Well if you hadn't suggested playing Planet Zoo until 12 am I would have gladly woken up then." Bdubs said, tiredly gripping the soft feathery case. Keralis gave a questionable smile.

"Really?"

"Absolutely not, No way I could ever wake up at 7! It's too early!" Bdubs retorted. Keralis laughed a bit and took another sip of his tea.

"Get moving Bubbles, work starts in an hour." Keralis said as he bounced up, miraculously not spilling his tea. Bdubs was quickly reminded of the previous day's events. He couldn't go to the cafe, if he did the Mangler might be there and put everyone in danger. And he couldn't risk accidentally revealing himself to his friends.

"Maybe we could skip work today." Bdubs suggested. Keralis stood in front of Bdubs with a confused expression.

"Hmm, maybe we could just miss one day? But what would we do?" Keralis's question made him realize. 'What would we do?' Well whatever it was, it had to be as far away from the Pesky Bird and his apartment.

"What if Xisuma met up with us?" Bdubs said, standing up from the couch. "And we could all go see a movie?" Keralis gasped and gave Bdubs a smile.

"That's a wonderful idea Bubbles! Ya I'll call Grian to tell him to cover our shifts,pay back for the time he left us to hang out with Bumbo."

"Haha yes!" Bdubs laughed, remembering how he had to miss his break in order to cover for Grian. Keralis chuckled and went into his room, Bdubs headed into the bathroom and grabbed his bandana from his pocket. He quickly ran his hands through his hair and went to tie the band around his head when he stopped. He unfolded the red cloth to show the two mask holes. Bdubs stared at the bandana. He had seen so many things through those holes. He had seen a man get crushed but rubble, and people held at gunpoint. People against their will hurting others. Bdubs snapped out of his trance as Keralis's door shut. He quickly tied the bandana and ran out of the bathroom. He met Keralis at the door, quickly slipping on his red tennis shoes. As the two headed out there was only one thing running through Bdubs mind. He was going to keep his loved ones safe, for as long as he could.

Bdubs, Xisuma, and Keralis all stepped out of the theater, all holding different opinions on what they had just witnessed.

"Beautiful movie choice!" X announced as he nodded his cup of ice tea towards Keralis. Keralis smiled.

"Well I know we had already seen the first two movies so when Dawn of the 16th came out I couldn't resist!"

"I- I- How- what- why?? He blew up everything!?" Bdubs said as he ran the events of the movie through his mind. "I got so attached to his unfinished symphony," Bdubs cried inside as Keralis patted his shoulder. Xisuma took a sip of his tea and strutted forward and onto the side-walk.

"Where to now?" He asked turning back to face his friends. Bdubs blinked as he looked past Xisuma and down the city street. In the distance he saw the bank, the one that the Mangler had "robbed". Just for a second he had forgotten he was in reality, forgot he wasn't actually a part of the movie he just witnessed.

"We could go back to the apartment....and play more Planet Zoo?" Keralis giggled as X and Bdubs gave the man a questionable glance. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding hehehe!" He smiled.

"How about we head over to the Challengers Arcade, Iskall might be on his shift and let us get a few free coins," X suggested, Keralis laughed and ran up next to X, grabbing his hand.

"That's a great idea Shashwamy!" Keralis said. Bdubs trailed behind the two with a smile as he watched the two's faces light up with joy as they held hands. Keralis looked back at Bdubs and stretched out his hand. Bdubs laughed and grabbed onto it with a smile. The three men all headed off towards the Hermit Challengers Arcade, ready to go win some free games.

Bdubs pushed the glass door open with his one free hand, sounding off a small bell above the door. The arcade was pretty much empty, besides three teenagers that were surrounding a hockey table at the back. Bdubs smiled when he saw his familiar swedish friend walk out from a back room. The three stepped inside as Iskall turned, his face lighting up as he saw them.

"Haha Hey guys!? What brings y'all here?" Iskall asked. Keralis swung his and his hand holding buddies hands forward, waving with both of them towards the swede.

"Hello sweetface!" Keralis smiled. X chuckled as he shut the door behind him.

"Ello Iskall! Nice to see ya!" He smiled. "Eye getting any better?" Iskall moved a hand up to touch his bandaged eye. About a month ago, Iskall had been involved in an accident. His left eye was brutally damaged and from what Bdubs had heard, his eye might never be functional again.

"Ah it stopped hurting as much but other than that around the same." Iskall said with a shrug. X nodded as Keralis let go of his and Bdubs hands.

"Do you think we coud.." Keralis began, but stopped as Iskall realized what he was going to say.

"No! I am not letting y'all play free games again!" Iskall said, waving his hands frantically. Bdubs frowned.

"Aw come on! Let us win some games!" He said as his voice excellated. Iskall stared at the two as they leaned in closer to him.

"Please Iskall?" Keralis asked, followed by a very enthusiastic Bdubs.

"Haha, fine! Fine! But this is the last time!" Iskall said, reaching over to grab a few tokens. Bdubs smiled in success. The two became almost like little kids as the swede handed them fake gold coins. X approached Iskall as he rounded the counter.

"I should start charging you guys. The amount of times y'all come in here would round to about a $100 worth of free stuff." Iskall said as he handed X some coins of his own. Bdubs spun around to face the swede.

"Beat me in mario kart and I'll pay it back!" He challenged, his voice full of confidence. Iskall grinned and threw his hand forward.

"You are gonna regret that Bdubs." Iskall said. Bdubs smiled mischievously as he tightened his bandana.

"Oh and I'm sure I won't!"

Bdubs grip on the wheel dropped as he flew his arms up. On the screen it read in big white letters. '2nd place'. Iskall began to laugh as he saw Bdubs face light up with anger. He had lost.

"Ok ok ok! I'll change the terms," Iskall said as he wiped a tear from his eye. "Instead of $100 straight dollars, You owe me $100 worth of free beverages at the Pesky Bird." Bdubs's hands dropped to his side.

"Ok...OK! That's better. I can live with that." Bdubs said, still sad in his defeat. Keralis, who sat on a chair next to them patted Bdubs on the back.

"Have fun because Im...Im not helping you pay for those drinks." He laughed. Bdubs's face switched from sadness to betrayal quickly as Keralis began to laugh. Iskall joined in, his recognizable laugh echoing throughout the room. Xisuma walked out from the second aisle of games and folded his tickets in his hands.

"So I'm assuming Iskall won?" He said. Iskall wheezed and stood up from the game chair. The silence from Bdubs confirmed X's question as he joined in with laughter. Bdubs stood up from his seat and spun to stand next to Keralis.

"You just caught me at a bad time Iskall, I totally could have beat you," He said, really more to himself than anyone. Keralis smiled but jumped a bit as something buzzed. Suddenly Bdubs felt his phone vibrate in his back pocket, followed by a "OH YA" sound from Iskall's phone. Xisuma looked at his friend as Keralis pulled his phone from his pocket.

"Oh it's Stressy!" Keralis announced. Iskall looked at his phone and nodded.

"Yup, she's asking if we can all hang out at her place!" As the words met Bdubs ears, he jumped in panic. Stress lived next door to him.

"Oh that sounds fun, Do you know if she has a set time?" X asked. Bdubs sat in a quiet panic. What if the Mangler was still at his apartment? What if he had gotten Stress?

"Ya we should go," Bdubs said, his mouth speaking instead of his brain.

"Mhm! It's been a while since everyone has hung out together!" Keralis said as he hopped up from his seat. Bdubs rose into a panic as his mouth continued.

"Great, here Keralis ask for a time and we'll all head over." A few seconds later Keralis spoke.

"She said 4 is good for her!"

"Great I'll remember that." Bdubs said. Of course he would remember. If the Mangler has Stress, if anything was going to happen. It was all going down at 4.

When I write these, I always end up reading the speech in the characters voices, and it sucks because writing in accents is hard. Also I spent most of my classes today doing some doodles for the past 2 chapters! Hope you like them uwu
