The whole village was abuzz, this was the first time something like this had happened, so it was new and exciting! I even heard some discussing whether or not it was better than kickball... but we all knew the answer to that. Early the next day I was shook awake by Fala, who literally had stars in her eyes. "C'mon, Adlez," she said. "It's time!" I looked up at her, pitifully. "...ala...wha ime iz it..." I groaned.

"I dunno!" she said. "But I think it's about three in the mourning!" I glare up at her. "...ow many 'thers 're 'wake..." I groan. "Oh, just the whole village!" she chirped. "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon!" I sit up and rub my eyes. "Oh, I knew that idea was going to come back and bite me..." I grumbled. Fala only smiled and dragged me, still half asleep and bed ragged to the main clearing.

True to her word, practically the whole village was awake. I just glared. "Aw, c'mon, Adlez!" said Fala. "Read off the candidates!" I walked over to the paper and I was instantly jolted awake. "Fala," I said, half whisper. "Half the village must be on here!" "I know!" she chirped. "Isn't it awesome! Look, even my name is up there!"

I sighed and rolled my eyes. They were all little kids after all. "Alright." I turned to address the whole crowd. "Alright, I'm not reading the list, you've probably all read it a million times. So let's do it this way, you're going to vote between two people and I'll count the votes and that person will be put up against someone else in voting, ect. You understand?" I ask. "Yes!" came the reply.

**End of day**

"And our last two candidates are... Fala and Mido... surprisingly... Alright! You may vote!"I watched carefully as everyone lined up to vote. There were most definitely more people in Fala's line. Once everyone had but in their votes I said,"Alright, you may stop, voting is over." I walked over to the ballets and began to count. That was strange, no matter how many times I counted, Mido had more tickets.

Then I looked closer at Mido's tickets. They all looked like several people had just done it over, and over, and over... Then I decided. I stepped up to the podium. "By disqualification," I said. "Fala, is the winner." At this, many of the kokiri cheered, but let's just say Mido wasn't, and he didn't look very happy. He walked up to the podium. "What!" he said. "But I had more votes!" I looked him up and down. "Mido," I said, and let everyone hear me. "There weren't enough people in your line to give you that many votes. And some of these people's hand writings are growing increasingly similar.

He flushed. "Well, why are you the counter, huh, you're bias! You just want Fala to lead." "Yeah," I said. "Because I don't want you leading any more." Then I walked off the stage and the crowd dispersed. Later, I was sitting inside the guest house and Fala walked in. "You wanted to see me?" she asked. "Yes," I said, grinning. "You see, I throught that it might be important if I show you something." She looked at me quizzically, really people have been doing that a ton recently...

I repealed my spell and had to stoop so that my head didn't hit the roof. Fala's eyes went wide. "You're a Hylian..." she said. I smiled. "Not just any Hylian, the Hylian Queen. But I'm here for a reason. You know how a Hylian visits often? With the green hat?" She nodded, and again had stars in her eyes. "He's so nice, and he seems to know us all already." "Well, then, can you keep 2 secrets for me?" I asked. She nodded. "Tell me, tell me!" she said. "Okay, okay," I said, smiling. "#1: I'm sorry to say that he's gone missing. And #2: His name, is Link." She looked at me.

"Oh," she said, simply. "Well, that explains everything." I smile. "Yes, I guess it does. And I need to know if there's anywhere you think I might find him? "You bet! The lost forest, the old forest temple, the new forest temple, the little wolfies that are roaming the forest might know-" I cut her off. "Wait, there's a new forest temple?" I asked. "Yup!" she said, popping the P. I smile. "Well, I guess I know where I'm going next!"
