DONT PRESSURE AUTHORS TO CONTINUE STORIES THEY DONT ENJOY
You're allowed to say that you want them to update. You're allowed to say that you like the book. However, you're not allowed to guilt trip them into updating.
Motivation and guilt tripping are different things
For example
"I think you should update this again, I really enjoy it!" is good vs
"You need to update this again, I miss this story that I used to love!"
The author should never feel pressurized to do their work, as it can easily take the fun out of it/ruin the quality of it.
