I think it's sad that our last conversation went something like this:

"Are you done with your homework, because don't think I'm doing it for you again," I had threatened arrogantly when he had barged into my room. Out of the two of us, I was the one with a brain, and he was the one who abused it.

"Oh, little sister. How you underestimate me," he laughed back, cockily ruffling my hair.

"Younger by two minutes, Jason. Two fucking minutes," I muttered, pretending to be sick of the old tease.

"Two glorious minutes. Two best minutes of my life actually." he smirked.

"You're an ass," I say, rolling my eyes and shoving him, a smile creeping up on me.

"Eh, perhaps," He grinned good-naturedly and clapped me on the back, " but, I certainly do get it."

I couldn't help but snicker at that one.

Suddenly, he caught sight of the clock and smiled broadly, "I'm heading to Aaron's. His sister is home from college," he winked suggestively before climbing off of my bed.

I rolled my eyes, and he all but ran out of my room.

"Night," I replied sarcastically, and shouted over my shoulder, "Can I get a ride tomorrow morning? Early morning practice."

Silence responded.
