Chapter One - Worst Day Ever

Luna was dragging her backpack along the floor as she slowly walked to her bedroom. The noise that filled the house usually would've angered Luna when she was in this sort of mood, but instead, it seemed to be muffled out and distant.

She stood in front of her door and slowly opened it up, then she slowly stepped inside. She tossed her backpack on the floor and then shut the door behind her as she went to sit in her favorite, bright purple beanbag chair.

She sighed and placed her head in her face, thinking about all the insanity that went on today. The teachers yelling at her for no reason, her classmates unusually hating on her, and her closest friend outside of her family, Tabby, said Luna's music sounded worse than anything she's ever heard and hit her right across the face before running off.

Luna wanted to cry, she wanted to scream loudly, but she would draw attention to herself. Instead, she just sat there and stared blankly at the floor, hoping everything would be over soon and that it was just a bad day for everyone.

It felt like a dream, all her friends backstabbing her and the pain she was feeling felt too unreal for it not to be a dream. She felt lost and confused, she didn't understand anything that was going on even though it happened right in front of her.

She looked at her guitar leaning against the wall, once again thinking about what Tabby said. She sighed as she picked it up and held it in her hands. It seemed to shine in the room, wanting Luna to play it and enjoy herself as much as possible.

She just shook her head and stood up, walking over to her guitar case and opened it up. "Sorry, love, but I'm not good enough for you anymore," she sadly said as she stuck the guitar inside and closed the case. She then walked back over to her beanbag chair and sat down again.

For a few more minutes, she was alone in her bedroom, until Luan slowly opened the door. "Hey, Luna," she said with a smile as she closed the door and set her bag down on the floor next to Luna's. She realized something was bugging Luna, so she tried to cheer her up.

"Hey, Luna, what did the older chimney say to the younger chimney?" Luan asked, hoping Luna would cheer up. "You're too young to smoke! Haha, do you get it?"

Luna didn't say a thing, no laugh or even a groan, she just sat there, dozing off into space. Luan sighed and walked up to Luna and sat down next to her. "Hey, what's the matter?" She asked with concern, knowing it wasn't normal for Luna to not respond at all.

"Nothing, Luan," Luna responded without even looking at her. "Nothing is wrong, I'm fine."

Luan sighed, knowing that there was no use cheering Luna up right now, as she didn't seem in the best mood. "Okay, Luna, I'll leave you alone," she said, standing up and getting ready to walk up to the door. Luna quickly sat up, wanting Luan to stay.

She just looked at Luan, but held back her question, not wanting Luan to think something was really wrong with her. She wanted to speak so much, but couldn't get the words out.

She opened her mouth, but it was too late, as Luan had already walked out of the room and closed the door behind her. She just sighed heavily and stared down at the ground again, trying her best not to cry, but this time her emotions got the best of her, and tears slowly streamed down her face.

She was quiet, though, she seemed to be trying her best to cry quietly as possible. She held her breath, trying to stop herself from crying anymore. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes tightly, and then pulled on her hair.

It hurt her, but she pulled on it until it felt like it would come off. Once she let go, she started to breath heavily, and then kick her legs a tiny bit, trying to hold in a scream.

She didn't realize she was having a small tantrum, mostly because she's rarely had them before, and the last time she did have one was when she was around 7 years old.

She finally stopped and sighed again, slowly lifting herself up from her beanbag chair. She slowly walked up to her bed and laid down, crying to herself.

She didn't know why, but everyone seemed to hate her for some reason, and she didn't like it. She hoped it was just a dream, and that she'd wake up soon.

But it was all too real.
