          You're presented an apple in the Garden of Eden. What do you do?

Do you resist the temptation that lingers in your body as your fingers nearly reach for the apple? Do you allow yourself to suppress the flesh? That whatever you desire, it will come to you by fate, and not by choice? Does the feeling of temptation continue to taint your heart till the point it's venom enters your mind, and leaves you weak? Perhaps your prayers to whatever god, go unanswered, and all that's left for you is to combat your carnality through strong willpower. Will your spirit reward you for your good deeds or have you chosen to suffer in a life you gained nothing from?

Or do you obey temptation as a dog follows his owner? When that temptation comes, how does it make you feel? Does the gratification of having what you want surpass any other feeling in the world? Does it feel like ecstasy in your veins but the lows haven't crashed on you just yet? Or does the lack of discipline kill you? The pride, the desire, and the want to have so many things at different places, does it begin to feel like a speaker that drowns away your voice at a party? No matter what you say, or what you do, that voice—sound, will continue to follow you until it becomes overwhelming. Was the temptation you so easily attained, worth it?

Perhaps biting the apple doesn't work for you. Maybe you need something that goes beyond the act of snaring your teeth into something so temporary?

You're presented in the Garden of Eden, but this time there's no apple. There's only a hand waiting to be shaken. 

          How about making a deal with the devil?

          Do you find comfort in the way how she whispers your name like honey in your ears? Or is it the way how she stretches her hand to reach yours to feel your warmth against her soft skin? Does she make you feel as if there's no other person around? That the only person she could ever truly love was you? Or how about the way her teeth pull between your lips drawing forth a scratch of blood? Does it feel like a deal yet? Do you feel as if she's already bargained your heart in the process?

          You wanted to make a deal with the devil. Turns out you might be enraptured with her. Despite the danger in her eyes, and the sly betrayal that you taste every time she unwaveringly presses her lips to yours. You just can't help yourself when it comes to her.

          It's just a shame that you too, know of the cards up her sleeve. Which one will she pull first? Is it the card of your demise? Maybe it's the card of bad fortune that will accompany you till your days are numbered? Whatever it is, you know that no matter what you feel— you don't trust her, and you'll continue to play back against her charms with your own cards hidden.

          The unspoken game of cat and mouse: who gets to ruin the other first? Will it be your victory to claim that you've won over the devil? Or are you just as anybody else who simply fell victim to the devil's tricks?

          You're presented in the Garden of Eden, and here's the catch— you've already shaken hands with the devil, Elijah. What do you do?

          There's only two ways out:
          1). Do your best to trick the original trickster.
          2). Hope that she doesn't ruin you to pieces because you love her.

          Either way, everyone knows the ground rules when it comes to making deals:

          1). Never make a deal with the Old Devils.
          2). Never trust any of the Old Devils.
          3). Most importantly, do not ever fall in love with the Old Devils.

         Unfortunately, you've broken 2 out of 3 rules. Especially the most important one.

          Kira is out for you, Elijah. . . Let's hope you're ready to dance with the devil.

I don't know whether to scream or cry because it's finally fucking out and I won't even tell you guys how long this has been in my drafts because it's absolutely horrendous. I was literally supposed to publish this on so many occasions but school has been so stressful and I haven't always been the most active on wattpad (I'll do my best though).

Kira and Elijah are my biggest loves at the moment. I'm really excited to see how they develop in the story as it progresses. But, I have pretty clear view of how I plan them out to be! (If this book goes under your expectations, I am sorry but I truly hope that is not the case).

It took me so much time to develop the cast and their importance in this story—I'm never doing this many graphics again, wattpad literally hates me as of this moment. But, I want you guys to enjoy their characters because as long as Kira is around so will they!
