Day 3: Ist Er Hier?

Me: Hey, is this Elizabeta? This is (y/n), the girl from the festival!

.........

No response. I sighed and set down my phone. Maybe she gave me the wrong number. She was hammered, after all. I'm not going to lie... The main reason I texted her wasn't to reunite or have a chat, but was to find out if Ludwig would be there again. His gentle, baby blue eyes and tough demeanor harmonized perfectly and had been swirling around in my head relentlessly.

Well, I just couldn't wait to get to the festival that night. My friends noticed it was extremely out of character for me, and commented on it. However, I just played it off and avoided answering.

I blatantly ignored my mom-friend duties as I weaved through the crowd and into the tent where I had seen Ludwig and Gilbert the past two nights.

Although there was hundreds of people in there, I sifted through every section of people in the tent, not that it would be hard to spot someone as tall as Ludwig traveling with someone as pale as Gilbert.

After nearly thirty minutes of searching, I made my way to the bar. I didn't get a seat, but I still ordered the Weiste- Weste- Weistenha- eh, whatever, the bartender knew what I was trying to say.

    That's when I felt a finger tap my shoulder.

   "Um, Excuse me, Miss?"

   I snapped around quickly in excitement, but I just got disappointed. It was a man I've never seen before. "Yes?" I asked him.

   "I just wanted to say you are the sexiest woman I've seen in my life."

    I pointed to his eyes and said "I think you need to get some glasses, man."

   "And funny!" He added. "Can I buy you a drink, sweetness?"

  I took a sip of my beer. "I've already got one, thanks." I responded awkwardly. He leaned against the bar with his elbow.

   "So, where ya from, beautiful?" He asked me. His breath stunk of alcohol and his looks matched his breath.

    "(Whereverthehellyourefrom)" I responded curtly.

    "Nice, nice. Far hike to Munich." He told me. "Wait, What the hell is that lady wearing?" He said as he pointed to a woman in a leopard print dress and a pink baseball hat.

   "Oh, that's just hard to look at." I cringed. I took another sip of my beer.

    "So anyway, honey, are you single?"

    "I'm not interested, sorry." I said blatantly.

    "Oh, wow, harsh." He laughed. "Any way I could convince you otherwise?"

     "No." I said. As I said it, I began to get a bit of a headache. Assuming it was from the noise, I excused myself and scurried out of the tent.

     Once outside, it got even stronger. I just wanted to lie down and take a quick nap. I took out my phone and called Bella.

    She didn't answer. I called again. No answer.

   What was just a minor headache had turned into a overwhelming feeling of nausea. I began to call Katyusha as I sat down in the dirt.

    "Pryvit?" She asked as she answered the phone.

    "Katyusha, I'm outside the beer tent thingy... I feel so, so sick." I told her as I began to feel very sleepy. I saw the man from before walking over to me.

    "Natalia and I are coming!" She said. "Natalia, let's go!" I heard her begin to run. "Ow, my breasts! I hate running!" She said. The man got to me and took my phone, hanging up on Katyusha.

     I saw her in the distance, running with Natalia. They had obviously spotted me, although I was around the side of the tent.

    And then I passed out.

~~~~~~~
    "Where am I?" I asked no one as I woke up. I looked down and saw I had an IV in my arm. Looking up, my three friends were there.
    "You got roofied. But don't worry, nothing happened to you. Natasha scared the man away." Bella informed me. I groaned.
  "I feel like shit." I told them.
   "Yeah, it'll do that to you." A doctor said as he pulled aside my curtain.
   The doctor was luckily really nice, and he explained everything about what happened to me and that he wanted me to stay in the hospital for at least another 24 hours, and that I should get the police involved.
   I accepted both of his prompts, and about an hour later an older officer came and took the details of the man from the bar.
   The next day was spent eating shitty food and watching the news by reading the subtitles on a monitor so far and small I could hardly see what any of the words meant. Although they offered to stay with me (well, Natasha didn't) I gave my friends my blessing to hit the festival, as long as they didn't end up like me.
   I went to sleep at about 8pm due to boredom, and I couldn't leave until tomorrow morning so I might as well have slept the time away.
