Benito was impatiently tapping his foot next to his car. He had been waiting for Marissa in front of the airport for about 30 minutes now. She did keep him updated that her luggage hadn't been on the band yet and that there were still suitcases coming. Marissa had purposely booked a flight over night, so Benito could come pick her up without many people being at the airport. He had a security man with him who was leaning on the passenger door, eying him in amusement. Benito kept an eye on the people coming out of the terminal and then he finally spotted her through the windows. She was dragging her suitcase behind her, just following the other passengers. When she reached the exit, she started looking around. Benito smiled to himself before he started waving and when she looked in his direction, she nodded and walked up to his car. The two of the hugged for quite a while. "I missed you." Benito said, when they let go. "I missed you too." Marissa responded. The security man reached for her luggage, then put it in the trunk of the car. Benito didn't drive himself, he sat in the back with Marissa. She was looking out of the window, admiring the beauty of San Juan at night. Since they had a little bit of a drive ahead and Marissa was tired, it didn't take long for her to doze off.

The next morning Marissa woke up in her bed. She hadn't slept so good in a while and she felt rested for the first time in months. There was soft music coming from somewhere downstairs, so she sat up and looked around. Benito had given her a room with a nice view; you could see the beach. She stretched herself and got out of the bed. As she was making her way down the hallway to the stairs. When she reached the kitchen, Benito was humming along to a song quietly coming from the radio, while he was making pancake batter. "Good morning." she greeted him and sat down at the dining table behind him. Benito turned around, smiled at her and continued to make the batter. Marissa watched him and waited patiently. "What are we gonna do today?" she asked once he put the plate with the pancakes in front of her. "We can go to the beach if you want to. We can do anything we want here." Benito responded, sitting down across from her. "Beach sounds great!" she told him. As they were eating, they were talking about her mom. Marissa informed him that she was doing great and that she wanted to meet him in person when he returned to LA.

After an exhausting day at the beach, Marissa let herself sink into Benito's jacuzzi. The hot water was relaxing. Benito was already sitting on the opposite edge of the pool, his feet dangling in the water. He had brought a bottle of red wine and two glasses. "Thank you, Benny." Marissa mumbled with her eyes closed. "What for?" he asked, looking at her. "The vacation, I really needed it." she responded. "No problem." Benito said, climbing into the pool as well. Slowly, he waded over to her and sat down next to her. Marissa let out a relaxed sigh, when she opened her eyes again. Benito handed her one of the glasses and opened the bottle for them. After the first sip, she put the glass onto the edge and turned to Benito, who was curiously watching her every move. "Can I ask you something?" Marissa started. "Sure, anything." he responded and took a sip from his glass as well. "I've been asking this myself a lot, ever since I met you. Why did you pick me?" wanted to know curiously. "Isn't it obvious?" he counter questioned amused. Marissa started shaking her head. Maybe it was obvious to Benito but it wasn't to her. Benito cleared his throat and put the glass aside as well. "Okay, so first of all, you knew how to dance and then your eyes, my god." he started, looking at the bubbles that were coming up in the middle of the pool. "My eyes?" Marissa questioned amused. "Yes, your eyes. They hypnotised me." Benito told her honestly. Marissa started blushing, she looked away from him and grabbed her glass. She noticed that Benito continued to stare at her with a smirk on his face. "What?" she asked, after taking a sip. "You don't know how beautiful you are." he mumbled, then smiled. Marissa returned the smile and blushed a bright red. "Stop, Benito." she responded, looking away from him. Her hair fell into her face, she was glad about it because it hid her red cheeks. Benito was hesitant but he gently pushed the strand back behind her ear, put one finger under her chin and made her look at him. "And I am incredibly glad that I went home with you that night." he whispered, leaning in. Marissa started to lean in as well. When their lips touched, Benito softly placed his thumb on her cheek. He was careful with everything he did in that moment because he didn't want to do anything she wouldn't want. This soft and gentle side of him was her weakness. Marissa placed her left hand in the back of his neck. She was also the one that deepened the kiss by pulling him closer. Slowly, Benito moved, so he was standing in front of her. Marissa wrapped her legs around his waist. Before they could go any further, Benito broke the kiss and rested his forehead on hers. "Lento, mami. We got all the time in the world." he mumbled. He wanted to take it slow this time, there was no need to rush anything. "We waited for almost six months." Marissa gave back, leaning in again. Benito returned the sloppy kiss. He buried his left hand in her hair, with his left, he reached around her and unstrapped her bikini top with one swift move. What they started in the pool, ended in his bedroom. Their hands were intertwined while they were slowly moving their hips. There was barely any moaning since, they were kissing each other almost non-stop. When they were done, Benito pulled Marissa close to him. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of her head. "You can't imagine how much I like you." he said, then rested his chin there. "I can, Benny." she answered, before placing a kiss on his collarbone. "Do you feel the same way?" he asked quietly. Marissa started nodding. Her heart was skipping beats in that moment. Benito started smiling to himself. "I want you to meet my family as my girlfriend." he said, causing her to look up at him. "But doesn't that go against your polyamorous lifestyle?" Marissa questioned. "It's easier for me to adjust to you, besides, I don't want anybody else." Benito responded, eying her face. Marissa started grinning and pressed a kiss on his lips.
