The picture above is basically what Seiran looks like! I drew one out first then found this to be the most similar. The outfit he's wearing is what he wears in this chapter. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ so enjoy~
Seiran's POV
There are times when I wished to go back to the past. The past where I had little to worry about, and when I was oblivious to what laid before me in the future.
I have thought about this many times, questioning the choices I have made.
But it's too late to go back now. I have decided this path and I plan to keep moving forward.
It's all for the Hirai family...
Distant ticking from the clock somehow brought me back to reality. I sat up from my slouching position and glanced up to check the time. A frown made its way across my face before I scanned the empty room, seeing that I have been the only human in here for about an hour.
I took out my phone and began to search through my contacts, skipping through most of them as I looked for a specific name.
Akari... Hana... Sakami... Shiroya...
I stopped once I saw the name I was looking for.
Yukari Kasanata.
I dialed her number, pacing around the classroom. She picked up almost immediately.
"H-Hirai-san!" The noises in the background hinted that she was running.
"Yeah, it's me," I replied, slightly annoyed. "You see, Ms. Kasanata, my family has asked if you were willing to tutor and help me with my studies. But making me wait for you was not a part of this."
"Yes, yes, I know. I'm running a little late so-."
I cut her off, trying to stay calm as I speak. "Ms. Kasanata, I have been waiting for an hour now. We both know that you're more than a little late."
"I know and I'm sorry! I'm on my way right now, so if you would just give me about fifteen minutes, I-."
"Please don't bother, Yukari," I gave up with the formalities. "You don't need to come anymore, because I'm firing you." I hung up the moment I said that, and picked up my bag. There's no reason why I should stay at Ouran any longer. I'm homeschooled. I only came here because Yukari asked to meet here.
I exited the classroom, and turned to close the doors behind me. I noticed the elaborate sign above the doorway. It said Literature Room 7. Nothing special about it.
I walked through the isolated hall, taking out my phone to make another call.
"Mr. Seiran, sir?" Shiroya, my butler, answered.
"Shiroya, have the limo come pick me up as soon as you can," I ordered, making a turn around the corner.
"Understood. Have you finished your study session with your new tutor?"
Sighing, I told him no, that I fired her before she even came.
"Ah. Is that so? Very well, then. I will arrive with the limo in at least ten minutes."
Knowing Shiroya, he would never go back on his word. If he says at least ten minutes, then it's at least ten minutes. "Good. I'll see you in a bit." I tucked my phone into my pocket, continuing to walk through the building.
I peered up at the crystal chandeliers, hanging above my head, as I walked, then studied the potted plants sitting on marble pedestals beside every window.
Nothing seemed out of place. As expected of the prestigious Ouran Academy.
I made my way down the velvet carpet-covered stairs, finding my way towards the door.
Bright sunlight greeted me once I stepped outside of the building. I shielded my eyes as I looked towards the sky.
Such a nice day...
Suddenly, my phone began to ring. I checked the caller ID. It said "Shiroya" on the screen, meaning that he was almost here.
He arrived earlier than expected. Picking up my pace, I walked through the school courtyard and opened up the front gates to leave.
I noticed my limo, arriving at that very moment it pulled up in front of me, and Shiroya stepped out from the backseat, holding the door open for me. I got into the limo and sighed. Shiroya sat beside me once he shut the door. "You're pretty early," I told him.
Shiroya chuckled. "Well, I was in the area. A new cafe opened up, so I decided to check it out." He's supposed to speak to me in a formal manner, but we usually drop it when we're alone.
I nodded, "Did they have anything good?"
"Many of their cakes were, but nothing stood out. I'll just continue going to the usual cafe I go to."
"Alright then..." I didn't feel like talking anymore. The two of us remained silent for the rest of the ride.
Not long after, the limo stopped. I watched Shiroya move over to the door, open it, then step outside. I got out of the limo so Shiroya could shut the door.
The two of us stood right in front of my home, the Hirai resident.
Shiroya waved a hand to the limo, giving it the signal that it may leave. We entered the front doors, heading inside.
"Welcome home, Mr. Seiran, sir." I was greeted by two of my maids.
"Thank you, Azumi, Emi." I slightly bowed my head as a way of greeting them back.
As a child, I have always ran around the house with many of the servants as my playmates. But after I began my studies, I had no time to fool around, anymore.
I promised myself to not forget who they were and think of them as nameless faces, however. I did not want that to happen.
Azumi and Emi bowed to me before they went off in separate directions. I started up the stairs, "Shiroya, please bring me some tea to my room. I'm going to rest before I speak to my parents."
"I understand. I shall have it ready very soon," he bowed and headed towards the kitchen.
I walked upstairs to get to my room. I reached my bedroom door, about to grab the doorknob, but I hesitated, thinking about something.
Slowly, I let my hand fall to my side. Taking a glance a bit farther down the hall, I saw a door that led to another bedroom. I went over and entered the girly-looking room.
It was just as I remembered. The interior and design were very childish, unlike mine, which I had redone.
I sighed, taking a seat on the pink couch.
Seiran Hirai and Minako Hirai, I said in my head.
Minako Hirai and Seiran Hirai.
Seiran and Minako.
Minako and Seiran.
Seiran and Minako, no longer.
