The trial continued for close to two whole months, the child services Jenny Moore allowed Ivy to talk to her father so she can sleep at night. Kaiba was in full stress but just by the sound of his daughter's voice can calm his nerves. Mokuba was having trouble focusing in school work. They were currently in the court room once more for the last day of trial.

"I will ask for both counselors to state your closing statements and then at the end I will make a decision for whether Ivy Pam should stay with her biological parents or adoptive father. You make go first Ms. Penny"

The judge said. Ms. Penny stood up.

"My clients love their daughter to death. Things happen, but if you were to see everything from their view, its a hard life. They would do anything they can just to see her happy. My client didn't abandoned their child, instead the child abandoned them because she wanted everything and they couldn't give it to her. Ivy needs her real parents, Mr. Kaiba has no kids of his own or even a wife, he is just a child pretending to be like an adult"

The judge nodded

"Mr. Stales"

"Your honor, the evidence clearly shows that Mr and Mrs. Pam planned this hoax just to get money from my client Mr. Kaiba because he is the owner of the CEO of KaibaCorp. You've also heard that Ivy is more comfortable being with her adoptive father, her life was going just fine until her biological parents came into the picture. She has good grades, perfect attendance, she has well manners for a 5yr old. From my book Mr. Kaiba is a better parent for Ivy."

The judge nodded and their was silence in the court room.

"We'll come back from recess and i will give my answer then"

*Recess*

"What do you think the judge is going to say?"

Mokuba asked sipping his hot chocolate.

"It's hard to say, Ms. Penny kept lying through the whole trial. I hope i did my best"

Mr. Stales said looking through his papers.

"For your sake, you better win this case or else i will be sure to rip you from your career"

Kaiba said coldly standing up to walk around to calm his nerves. Mr. Stales looked at Kaiba's retreating form with a nervous look, but Mokuba nudge him on his shoulder.

"Don't worry he's just stressed out"

"R-right"

*After Recess*

"After reviewing the evidence, I'm sorry but I have no choice but to give Ivy back to her biological parents."

"What?!"

Kaiba shouted standing up.

"No!!"

Everyone turn their direction to the corner of the room where Ivy was sitting next to the social worker. Ivy got up and ran to Kaiba who opened his arms to her bringing her into a hug as she cried on his chest.

"No Daddy, don't let them take me away. Ohana Daddy!! Ohana!!"

Everyone in the court was shock by the judge's decision except for Ivy's biological parents who were smirking victorious. Jenny saw the relationship between Kaiba and Ivy and decided to do something that no social worker ever did, she has a chance since the judge haven't slammed the mallet down.

"Uh your honor if I may"

"You are?"

"The social worker for Child Services for Ivy Kaiba"

"Yes"

"No one hasn't bothered to contact me but i would like to do this on the record as a witness"

The judge nodded and took a seat on the stand.

"For the past two months I allowed Ivy to contact Kaiba. I made sure to put the phone on speaker so I would listen to and from what i been hearing, from since the trial started he has been comforting Ivy like no other. Plus in my opinion, if Ivy's biological parents really cared for their daughter they would have contact me to talk to their daughter since they do have my number. It was only Kaiba."

"Thank you Ms. Moore. With this new information I change my summation. I am ordering for Ivy Kaiba to stay with her adoptive father."

Mr and Mrs. Pam looked towards their lawyer to do something.

"Objection.."

But the mallet was slammed down. Ivy, Kaiba and Mokuba cheered giving each other a big hug. Jenny smiled at the small family, Ivy looked towards Jenny and smiled with a wave to come over. Kaiba shook hands with Jenny.

"Thank you for saving this little and broken family"

"Nah from my view this is still a good family. Take care of each other. Contact if you need anything"

Kaiba nodded, he looked towards his Lawyer and shook hands and departed from the courtroom. Ivy was being carried in Kaiba's arms.

"Where are we going now Daddy?"

"We are going home"
