The next day Kaiba and Mokuba took Ivy to the orphanage. As they were walking Ivy didn't want to be carried by Mokuba instead she wanted Kaiba, but he would have his arms crossed ignoring her. Ivy had the bright idea to attach herself Kaiba's right leg. So as he takes a step, she moves with him.

They walked inside the building and went up to the receptionist.

"Yes, how may I help you?"

"This child is reported missing someone left her outside my building"

The reception looked around for the child, but Kaiba pointed down. The receptionist went around her desk to see the child attached to Kaiba's leg.

"Aw she's adorable. What's her name?"

"Ivy"

Mokuba answered still amused that the child haven't let go since they arrived. The reception went back to her desk to get in contact with a worker.

"Please take a seat, she will be right down in 10 minutes"

Kaiba narrowed his eyes at the receptionist.

"I am short on time. Tell the worker to get down here now!"

He practically yelled scaring the poor lady. She scrambled to get back on the phone and in less than a minute the worker arrived.

"Hello I am Ms. Stone. What seems to be the problem here?"

"This child was dropped off outside my office building, i have no whereabout of where her parents are"

"And you want us to take her in?"

"Yes"

"Okay then"

Ms. Stone bend down and stretched out her arms to Ivy but she tighten her hold on Kaiba's leg. Ms. Stone began to pull her but Ivy was whining and Kaiba was getting annoyed. Mokuba was looking at the scene with interest.

Kaiba growled.

"That's it, I don't have time for this"

Kaiba grabbed Ivy from his leg and hand her over. Ivy began to cry but Kaiba ignored it.

"Let's go Mokuba"

Mokuba began to slowly follow but continued to look back at the crying child.

"Daddy!!!! Don't go!!!!"

Kaiba got to the exit and looked back to see what is taking Mokuba so long, he was staring at the wailing child in the lady's arm. Kaiba let out a sigh.

"Mokuba let's go"

Mokuba turned towards his brother and quickly exit along with Kaiba. They got to the limo and began to drive. Mokuba was quiet the whole time and Kaiba knew why.

"Do we really needed to leave her there?"

"Mokuba..."

"What if she doesn't get adopted? What if she does get adopted but to an abusive parents? I mean come on she even called you a Dad after a day she first met you"

"Mokuba its for the best"

"What if i promise to take care of her? She can be a part of our family. Please big brother think of the child"

Mokuba gave Kaiba a puppy eye look, Kaiba knew he would fall for it. He closed his eyes letting out a sigh and pressed the button to connect with his driver.

"Turn the car around and go back to the orphanage"

Mokuba beamed at what his brother said, he was happy at the fact they were going to adopt the little girl. A few minutes passed and they went back to the orphanage building and from the outside they can hear Ivy still crying.

Kaiba opened the door, surprise to see Ms. Stone in a mess struggling trying to catch Ivy along with the other care takers. Ivy saw Kaiba and quickly ran to him attaching herself to his leg once again. Ms. Stone walked up to Kaiba trying to look presentable.

"Ah Mr. Kaiba what can I do for you?"

"Get the adoption papers ready. I'm adopting Ivy"

Ms. Stone let out a sigh of relief. She got the papers and had him signed.

"Good luck Mr. Kaiba"

Kaiba simply scoffs and Mokuba bend down to see Ivy red face with tears trailing down her cheeks.

"Hey its okay. You're coming home with us okay"

Ivy looked up at Mokuba and nodded with a slight smile. Kaiba took the papers and led Mokuba back to the limo this time with Ivy with them. Once Ivy saw they were in the car, she detached herself from his leg and climbed up on the seat and stood up to hug Kaiba giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Kaiba simply smirks and Mokuba laughs as Ivy left him a trail of drew. Kaiba got Ivy in his arms and started to clean her dried tears.

"No more tears Ivy Kaiba"

Ivy smiled at Kaiba and opened her arms to him giving him a hug and snuggled into his chest as she was falling asleep from all the crying.Kaiba wrapped his arms around her back to hold her in place. Mokuba smiled.

"Welcome to the family Ivy"
