"Question."
"No, Hyunjin."
"I haven't even asked you."
"You cannot take Chris to the dog park."
"But it would be so fun Changbin!"
"Fun? And if he eats someone's maltese will it still be fun?"
"He would never."
As if on que, Chan, currently in his hybrid wolf pup form, comes running into the room with a stuffed animal in his mouth.
"Chris...did you take that from Jeongin again?"
The wolf pup shook his head no.
The maknae came into the room, out of breath.
"Give me my plushie!", he yelled, pointing at Chan.
The wolf pup again shook his head no.
"Come catch me Innie!", he yelled, running off around the couch.
This resulted in a roundabout chase that lasted until Felix, Han, Minho, and Seungmin came downstairs and managed to free the toy from Chan's grasp.
"No biting toys my little fluff ball.", Felix said.
"Ah okay, I not bite Innie's toys.", Chan replied.
Felix kept fluffing the fur on the wolf pups ears, making him howl.
"Look how adorable you are! Give me a big howl!"
The little hybrid shook his head before leaning it back and howling as loud as he could.
"Good job!"
Felix peppered him with kisses all over his face.
"Okay okay enough kisses, we need mostly human Chris right now.", Changbin said.
"Whyyyyyyy!", the little said, rolling over on his back.
"Because baby you said you wanted to help us build your playground in the backyard. WolfChan can't do that."
"Rude!"
Little Chan stood up and went to go back into human form.
While they waited for him, Jisung finished opening the delivery boxes of the last toys for Chan.
"They sent four giant toy tires! He's going to love these."
"He's going to viciously consume them in fifteen minutes.", Jeongin said, staring at his half-eaten plushie.
Little Chan came back around the corner (this time in human form) with wolf ears in full force.
"We go build now hyungies?"
"Yes we can sugar pie. Take one of these boxes and let's go!", Jisung responded.
Everyone grabbed a box of materials and went into the backyard.
Chan got head pats from each member for being "such a strong little man" and carrying the heaviest box outside.
They all started to work on the playground structure.
Being a wolf hybrid, Chan needed a lot of space to run around and release his energy, little or not.
In an attempt to figure out a way to do this, Jisung came up with the idea to build a playground for him.
It worked more as an outside training course. It would be equipped with lots of giant toys, a kiddie pool, and the main section would look like the running course for a dog show.
Of course, Chan was very happy with this.
"I want bite it.", he said.
"Baby we haven't even fully opened it yet.", Minho said, taking the plastic off of a bone toy.
"Look tasty."
"Control your wolf side please."
Chan helped them by getting tools for them when they asked and ripping open packaging when it was too tough for Felix and Seungmin.
In return he received extra head pats and long-form hugs.
After a while, the members decided to take a break for the day.
Changbin made everyone drinks when they got inside.
They agreed to let little Chan go back into wolf form so he could extra relax.
"Appa. Appa. Appa. Appa. Appa. Appa. Appa. Appa. Appa. Appa."
"Chan I may do violent things if you keep saying appa. And Felix, please answer him.", Jeongin said.
Felix went to Chan.
"Hi cutie. What do you need?"
"Cuddles!"
The wolf pup ran in a circle, wagging his tail the entire time.
"Cute. You can have cuddled. Who wants to join!"
Everyone raised their hands.
Felix picked up Chan and carried him to the couch.
Once he laid down, Chan curled up on him and yawned.
"Imagine someone breaks into this house and sees an entire wolf on the couch.", Changbin thought.
"Permanent security is what I call him.", Seungmin added.
Changbin casually added himself to the couch cuddle.
"I'm just going to scoot in here."
"I not mind. More cuddles for me!", Chan said.
The little let his tail fall on Changbin, fully stretching out over them.
Minho, Jisung, Seungmin, Jeongin, and Hyunjin all crowded together on the floor next to them.
"You know there are more comfortable places to be right?", Minho said from under the other four members.
"But this is really comfortable. Right cutie Channie?", Hyunjin asked, completely on top of Seungmin.
"Right!"
Felix and Changbin made sure to hold their little wolf close to them.
"How about a nap time story?", Felix suggested.
The members all agreed.
"Alright then. This is the story of a very...interesting wolf."
"Oooo.", Chan said.
The members all got comfy so they could listen.
"Once upon a time, there was a wolf named Channie."
"It me.", Chan whispered to Changbin.
"I know baby."
"And this wolf had a problem. He tail didn't wag!", Felix continued.
"Oh no...my tail!", Channie responded.
"So he had to figure out how to make his tail wag again. He wandered through the woods, and came across many creatures. But, none of the creatures make his tail wag. So what could he do."
"I know!"
"What do you think he did baby?"
"He...he find hyungies."
"Good job baby. One day, the little wolf came upon a village. The village had seven people in it, and they all worked together to take care of the wolf."
Felix carefully pet the little wolf.
"From the day they met him, they knew he was special. And they knew he was meant to be with them. So one night, they made a promise to the wolf."
Chan laid his head down on Felix's chest.
"They promised they would never leave him. And that no matter what..."
Felix noticed the little closing his eyes.
"...he would always have their home to run to. Have a good nap Channie."
"Good story Felix.", Hyunjin whispered.
"Thank you."
"Also can I borrow a pillow? Seungmin is breathing in my ear."
"You'll suffocate him-"
"That's a him problem."
