"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Chan was brought out of his peaceful k-drama watching experience by the loudest scream he had ever heard in his adult life.

And he lives with SamSung, so that's saying something.

"Who screamed like that?!", he yelled.

From upstairs, Felix came speeding down, running to Chan and hopping into his arms.

"Whoa angel! What's wrong? Are you hurt?"

"Daddy, I hand! Look! Stick by piece of wood!"

Chan looks at Felix's hand, and laughs when he sees a tiny splinter near his finger.

"Angel, it's just a splinter, let's pull it out."

Felix was carried to the kitchen table, where he was sat down.

Chan sat next to him and grabbed his hand.

"Okay, this may hurt angel."

Chan examined the area around the splinter, and used a pair of tweezers an unknown member left on the table to try and pull the splinter out.

As soon as he touched the splinter however, Felix screamed again.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

"Angel, calm down. I can't concentrate if you scream."

"But daddy! It hurt my hand!"

"It's okay. Just take a deep breath."

Felix started to take a deep breath, which was quickly interrupted by him screaming again when Chan pulled at the splinter.

The little pulled his hand away.

"Owie! It hurt too much daddy!"

"Angel, it's going to keep hurting if we don't remove it."

"No touch it!"

"Felix."

"No!"

"Lixie."

"No!"

Chan tried to reach for his hand and Felix got up, running away.

"Angel!", Chan yelled, running after him.

The leader pushed past Seungmin, who had already nearly been knocked down by Felix, and followed the little into his room.

"Felix! Where are you?", Chan asked.

He looked around the room, but couldn't see him.

"Felix...Come on. It's just a splinter. It's going to hurt until we take it out!"

Chan walked about the space, searching for where the baby could be.

"Angel, if you come out I'll give you ice cream!"

Felix peeked out from under the bed.

Chan smiled at the adorable face, but frowned when he saw very obvious tears.

"Angel, come here."

Felix came from under the bed and ran into Chan's arms again.

"Daddy, I not want be hurt!"

"I know sweetie, but think about the reward you will get. Ice cream! It'll make it hurt a lot less afterwards because you won't even be thinking about it."

Felix pouted, but nodded his head.

Chan sat him on the bed.

"Okay, are you ready?"

The little reluctantly nodded his head and held his hand out.

Chan smiled at him, holding his hand.

He held the pair of tweezers and placed them on the splinter.

"Alright, deep breath on one...two...three!"

Felix took a deep breath and Chan quickly pulled the splinter from his hand.

The little let out a small scream and immediately pulled his hand back after it was over.

Chan watched him for a few seconds.

"Are you okay baby?"

Felix looked up at Chan, and started to cry.

Chan quickly picked him up, and held him closely.

"Oh no, no, no, no tears angel! You're too cute to cry."

Felix put his head on Chan's shoulder, still slightly whining.

The door to the room opened and Seungmin stepped in.

"I heard a kitten crying. Is he alright?"

"He had a splinter and it hurt to take it out."

Seungmin walked closer to them and sat by Chan.

Felix looked at him.

"You okay cutie?"

Felix nodded yes and wiped his eyes.

"Where did you get the splinter from?"

Felix turned to Chan.

"I play in Hannie's room. He making wood chip castle."

Chan and Seungmin looked at one another.

Together they stood, Chan still holding Felix, and walked down to Jisung's room.

When they opened the door, Jisung, Minho, Jeongin, Changbin, and Hyunjin were in the process of stacking wood chips on top of one another in the elaborate shape of a castle.

They all stared at the trio.

"Oh, you three. Welcome! We're building a castle.", Jisung said.

"Felix got a splinter from your...castle.", Chan stated.

Everyone immediately crowded around Felix.

"Oh Lixie I'm so sorry! We didn't mean to hurt you! You look upset. Did you cry?!", Changbin said.

"Oh the baby cried! We're the worst people. Terrible even. Feel free to reprimand us.", Hyunjin said with a bow.

Felix laughed, earning smiles from every other member.

"Aww, see? I told you he was the cutest baby to ever baby.", Chan started, "Now let's get ice cream!"

The members all left Jisung's room and made their way down to the kitchen.

Chan finally put Felix down, who sat at the kitchen island.

The members got bowls, ice cream from the freezer, and whipped cream.

"Angel, which flavor do you want?", Chan asked.

"Uh...I wan...uh..."

Felix stared at the three containers.

"Vanilla! Wiv lots of whip!"

"You got it!"

Chan opened the ice cream and fixed a bowl for Felix, adding extra whipped cream on top.

The other members battled over the flavors, but eventually got their bowls as well.

Everyone sat around the kitchen island and ate.

"Mmmm!", Felix said loudly, "It delicious daddy!"

Everyone let out an "awwwww" at his cuteness.

Chan fluffed the babies hair.

"Glad you like it. Now, someone explain how you got so many wood chips?"

Everyone looked at Jisung.

"So Mr. Kim down the street owns a barbecue restaurant and brought home a bag of wood chips. I was walking down the street on my way to the 7-11 and saw the bag. So I asked him if I could buy it from him. He said yes. So I paid him and now we have fifty pounds of wood chips."

Chan very deeply sighed.

"Why do you do these things that you do in life?"

"Because I'm Jisung. And life is too short to not purchase fifty pound of wood for no reason."

Felix scooped some ice cream into his mouth.

"You strange Hannie."

"Thank you."
