It was a cold day in New York City, 2/2/2000, when a baby girl was born into the world. Her cries brought tears to her mothers eyes as she held her baby, the father right beside her. They both smiled as they held each other close while the doctor made the bill. "I think I'll name you.. Gwen. Yeah! Gwen Silver Stacy." The mother said. But at the same time in another part of the city of the dammed, a living blob of goo was slithering across an alley from a man with no head. It then made a decision.

"I'm due soon, I cant give you all the food you need like this... we need a host. YOU need a host. But what's this? A young human girl? I know what she is.. she's the perfect host, but not for me. Here my child, I give my last moments for you." It said to itself before taking the shape of a human doctor. It entered the hospital then took the little baby under the pretense of a safty test. It then entered a closet to then dissapear. As it melted a new puddle of goo came out then latched onto the baby.

In moments it dissapeared into the baby's skin as it chirped to the baby. The baby cried as the father found it. "Gwen!" He yelled as doctors and security came over. It was on that day that two fates bonded into one.
