Chapter 3

The following day, Kate was grumpily sitting on the couch. She had woken up too late and missed all of her lectures, and was really mad at her room mates for not noticing her disappearence until 4 PM, when Happy suddenly burst into her room screaming about mashed potatoes and aborted babies. That was one hell of a wake up call.

Kate was watching tv, and skimming trough the various channels, which, for some reason, were all about crunchy leaves. After the 47th channel about stomping on fallen leaves, finally a news channel popped up. Kate threw her hands up in the air: "FUCK YEA!!". The news were mostly about things happening outside of the town, and then there was a section about the Mörder family investing a ton of money in a local activity. Kate was impressed, they owned a huge mansion and did charity? Time to marry into the family. Next up there was a section about some bigger-than-average wolves roaming in the woods around the city. The news anchor said that the experts noted how such sightings were a common occurrence in the town, altough their number greatly increased in the last few years. Kate made a mental note not to go into the woods alone.

Just as she turned off the tv, Lou burst into the dorm, with a huge grin on their face, and jumped over the couch to sit next to her. "Heyyy there Kate".

"What is it?" She smiled, she had never seen them so excited.

"This is your first party, right?" They made their leg bounce up and down restlessly.

"Yes, it is - Kate stopped for a moment in embarrassment - i never really had time before".

Lou grabbed her hands and pulled her closer, their eyes basically sparkling: "Do you want to get ready with us? I and the girls usuallyget ready togheter for big events! This will be fun, and we can help you with your make up!" They then let her go and put their hands up: "But only if you want of course".

Kate was really surprised, no one had ever offered her to do something like that: "Yes of course! As long as it won't end up being a glittery mess!" She pouted.

Lou shook their head: "No glittery mess, pinky promise!". Kate nodded gladly.

• • •

Well, Lou fucking lied.

In fact, more than half of the dorm was currently covered in glitter, and more kept on being spilled as a huge fight broke out.

"LOU I WILL CUT YOUR HANDS OFF, STOP THROWING GLITTER AROUND!!" Happy was standing on top of the couch, wearing high heel boots and an elegant short black dress, with silver star patterns, and a matching choker and earrings. Her make up was halfway done and, of course, she was covered in glitter.

Lou on the other hand, did not listen: "YOU'RE TRYING TO PREVENT THE MAGIC OF FAIRIES FROM SPREADING, YOU MONSTER" Lou was wearing a grey crop top and some shorts, paired with a huge colorful fluffy jacket and vans. They were holding several glitter jars, throwing their contents around the room.

"LOU YOU RUINED MY SANDWICH YOU ASSHOLE!" Cried Zarya, who had been ready to go since an hour prior, and tried to make herself a sandwich, which now was coated in glitter. Her already sparkly blue dress, which left her back bare, now looked like a disco ball, and if they were to hang her up on the ceiling it would probably take a while for someone to notice that she was in fact a girl.

In the middle of that chaos, Kate was sitting in a puddle of glitter, wondering how could something be so pretty yet satanic at the same time. It wasn't going to be fun to clean up the dorm, she could already visualize all the glitter stuck in every little crevice of the floor. Kate herself was also covered in glitter, her yellow tank top and high waisted shorts were unrecognizable under the tick layers of sparkles. Every time she moved her head more and more glitter fell on her, after getting stuck in the fancy hair ties that kept her space buns togheter.

The glitter battle came to an end as Zarya threw her now unedible sandwhich at Lou's face, giving Happy the time to tackle them and put an end to their reign of glittery terror.

It took a lot of wiping and shaking to bring the amount of glitter on the group's clothes to socially acceptable levels, except for Lou, who was still as sparkly as ever and could be probably seen from space. Then, after everyone was done touching up theur make up, they were ready to party.

But, unfortunately, the mansion wasn't really around the corner, and they had to get there by car, which wouldn't have been that bad if it wasn't for the fact that Happy was the designated driver.

But after speeding past three red lights, losing the police two times and almost running over a pigeon, they were finally in front of the mansion, cheering still being alive after that hell of a ride.

In front if that huge building Kate felt very small and poor. The mansion had three floors and it was really modern looking. Around it, like a fence, there were well kept rounded bushes. Colorful lights were lit everywhere, and trough the window the girl could see the people partying, and muffled music could be heard. It looked like a blast.

"It's not fair! I have a reputation!!" Zarya complained as they walked to the door. They played a stick game to decide who would stay sober to drive everyone home, and she got the shortest stick.

"It's for the better, you know you tend to commit arson when alcohol is involved" Happy patted the blonde's shoulder.

Lou ran an hand trough her hair and sighed: "If you really can't handle it we can switch if you want."

Zarya beamed: "Omg really?! WOW I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!! Thanks!" And with that she pushed the door open. The music wasn't muffled anymore and Kate's eardrums cried in pain.

The door opened into a huge living room, three times as big as the academy's dorms, where more people than Kate could count were absolutely going ham partying. And no one was glittery like her group, which made them stand out like a drag queen in a room full of buisnessmen.

"WHERE ARE THE DRINKS?!" Zarya roared, and quickly scanned the room, to then start sprinting in the direction where the funky beverages were.

"Zarya, WAIT!" Lou ran after her, making their way trough the dozens of people stacked in the room.

Kate watched as they disappeared in the crowd, feeling quite lost, when someone elbowed her lightly.

"Guess it's just us singles now, huh" Happy smiled at her, her dark skin made every single piece of glitter on her face look like a shining star. She was beautiful.

"I guess so, eh..." Kate crossed her arms over her chest. She started feeling a bit anxious from all the people surrounding them.

"Don't worry, we'll find them at a drinking contest, in the meanwhile we can look around! It's your first time here, isn't it?" Happy took her hand and started leading her trough the crowd.

"You've been here before?" Kate tried to stay as close to her friend as possible. Everyone around the duo reeked of alcohol already, and she couldn't help but wince a bit from the strong smell.

Happy went up a flight of stairs. "Yea, you know, mostly for parties, and some... Family buisness" She trailed off a bit, before perking up again: "Anyway! The living room is always super chaotic, but don't worry, upstairs it's much calmer!"

They reached the second floor, which was way less crowded, just like Happy said, and the lavender haired girl let Kate's hand go. Unlike in the living room, where the mass
of people made it almost impossible, the room's furniture was actually visible. It was all in a minimalist modern style, with some artsy looking decorations. Another wave of discomfort washed over Kate. Everything looked so expensive.

There were still a lot of people on this floor though, so Kate was really careful not to lose sight of her friend.

"Do you want some drinks? There should be some in near the hallway, those could help you loosen up, you look like you're about to have a panic attack." Happy put one hand on Kate's shoulder and once again led the way.

Happy tried to strike up a conversation once again: "So, you see any pretty boy or girl you like?" She grinned maliciously.

Kate shrugged: "Oh well, uuh, i'm not really into the... romance kind of stuff, or any non-platonic relationship thing for that matter," She laughed nervously, but relaxed as she saw that Happy wasn't giving her a judgemental stare: "So, uh, how about you? You got a girl that caught your eye?"

They arrived at a small table near the beginning of the hallway, which was filled with red party cups and various bottles and cans of every kind of alcoholic drink you could think of. Under the table there were two small refrigerators, which Happy bent down to open and grab two beer cans from.

"You can't go wrong with the classics!" She said as she passed a can to Kate and cracked open her own. "So as we were saying, yea, there is someone, but i'm not sure she's at the party." She looked really bummed.

The little gossipy old lady that lived inside of Kate rose up once again: "Oh my god, there's someone?! Who is it? I wabt to know everything about her! Can she knit?" She cracked open her beer can and took a big sip.

Happy sighed and blushed a bit: "So you know the girl that assis- Wait why do you want to know if she knits?!" She narrowed her eyes.

"I am in dire need of a knitting buddy" Kate sighed putting and hand over her heart.

"Hu-uh yeeea... " Happy nodded slowly without breaking eye contact. Then she looked away and took another sip from ger beer: "As i was saying, she's the styling lab professor's assistant, you know, the one with blue hair" she gestured vaguely.

"Ah yes, because i, an english major, absolutely know who she, an assistant for a fashion major only class, is" Kate said smirking, making Happy face palm.

"Yea, you're right..." Happy looked away embarassedly.

Suddenly a lot of commotion could be heard from downstairs, and a lot of people ran down to see what it was about. Kate and Happy gave eachother a confused look, until the chanting began.

At least fourty people could be heard chanting "DRINK! DRINK! DRINK!" and a really beefy dude ran upstairs yelling out: "THE BLONDE BEAST IS COMPETING!" Cue even more people running downstairs, some of them frantically taking out their phones.

Kate turned to Happy, who had a dumb grin plastered on her face: "The Blonde Beast?" She raised an eyebrow.

Happy grabbed her hand and ran down the stairs: "Ahah, this will be fun! Looks like we're getting reunited with the others earlier than expected!"

They couldn't walk down the last few steps because the room was so filled with people. But in the middle of the room there was an empty circle, with a table set right in the middle, and way too many shot glasses to count them. Suddenly a man jumped on the table and started speaking.

"Well heeelloo, it's great to see you all again!" He was of average height, mildly muscular and had shiny ebony skin. His hair was black and short, his eyes were differently colored, brown and blue. He had a smug look on his face.

Kate stood on the tip of her toes and stuck her head out to get a better view: "Is he that Joshua guy?" She asked Happy in awe.

"Nah, Joshua is a cracker boy, that's his right hand man, Pearson" Happy looked really amused.

"That's a dumb fucking name, holy cow" Kate's eyes widened.

Pearson resumed on speaking: "As always it is time for our Drinking contest, because a new opponent has challenged our champion in charge!" He raised his hand and a completely unremarkable guy stepped forward and waved. Pearson gave him the same look a snake owner would give a mouse as they are about to feed the snake. "And talking about our champion, you all know her! She's tiny, she's russian! She tends to commit arson when drunk! GIVE IT UP FOR THE BLONDE BEAST!!"

On the opposite end lf the table as her opponent, Zarya appeared, grasping an empty bottle of vodka, followed by an extremely worried Lou that was beginning to realize that agreeing to be the one to drive back home instead of their girlfriend was a really bad idea.

Kate's mout and eyes became three perfect Os and Happy had to close her mouth with one hand while chuckling: "She's made quite a name for herself, you know?"

Pearson finished his speech: "Well then, whoever thinks they can defeat the beast can come to the table and challenge her after the previous one was defeated! If no one steps up, the contest will be over! Ready?!- He raised up his hands -DRINK!" He made his hands drop and both the contestants started taking the shots glasses and emptying them one right after the other.

After the third shot, Zarya slammed her hand down on the table so hard that the glass shattered, and her opponent, taken by surprise, instinctively jumped back, but tripped on his feet and fell backwards, knocking himself out. Pathetic.

A choir of "BOOOOOOOH"s erupted from the crowd, as another challenger popped up. She was a pretty girl with long flowy hair, who started grabbing two glasses at a time and gulping them down furiously. Zarya sat completely still, in absolute silence for a couple seconds. Some of her long blonde hair fell on her face, as she shot a murderous glare full of determination to the pretty girl in front of her.

She pulled out two bottles of vodka from under the table and started chugging them both at the same time, while keeping eye contact. The girl contestant stopped mid-sip, realizing some recent mistakes and slowly set the shot glasses down before leaving and getting immediately substituted by another guy.

Kate had no idea what the fuck she was witnessing, but holy guacamole was it good.

Zarya continued to crush an opponent after the other, as the crowd cheered every time those fools went down. Some people started betting on who would win, but the small russian girl was unbeatable. At that point she probably had more vodka than blood in her body, but she kept on going like she hadn't drunk a single drop of alcohol. The opponent kept on getting bigger and buffer, but she still managed to beat them easily. At one point one of them screamed in frustration and tried to hit her, but she roundhouse kicked his nose and knocked him out cold. After tons and tons of bitter defeats, no one dared to challenge the Blonde Beast anymore.

She hopped on the table, as Pearson reached her and grabbed her hand, rasing it in the hair: "And, once again, THE BLONDE BEAST IS OUR CHAMPION!!" The crowd of college students absolutely lost its shit, and there was yelling, whistling and clapping.

Right behind Zarya, Lou looked really worried, and, based on the face they were making, they didn't really appear to like Pearson all that much. If what Kate had heard was true, Joshua was one hell of a troublemaker, and, being his right hand man, Pearson probably wasn't any better.

Many people started leaving the room, Zarya and Lou disappeared in the crowd once again, and Pearson headed upstairs, passing by Kate and Happy. He was a bit shorter than expected from up close, but he still towered over both of them. He glanced quickly in their direction, and Kate noticed her friend getting tense.

"Is everything ok?" She put an hand on Happy's shoulder, causing her to jump a little.

"HUH?! OH, yea i'm fine" She shook her head vigoriously, then held up her empty beer can: "Shall we get another round?"

They went back upstairs. Kate looked around a bit: "Where did Pearson go? Didn't he head this way" It looked like he had disappeared in thin air.

"Oh, he's just in the reserved part of the party" Happy shrugged: "Joshua stays up there all night, togheter with his little friends, safe from us lowly peasants" She said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

"So they hang on the third floor? I saw it from outside but i didn't see a staircase anywhere! Do you know where it is?" Kate's curiosity was triggered, and now her eyes darted across the floor looking for hudden trapdoors and secret passages.

Happy groaned: "I really wouldn't know, i'm not part of the clique, and intend for things to stay this way, that cracker boy has really been p-" she stopped midsentence and squealed. "Oh my god!" She hid behind Kate's back: "It's HER!!"

A few feet ahead of them there was a girl with beautiful blue hair talking to some friends, the lab assistant!

Happy still hid behind Kate's back, peeking over her shoulders, her face looked like a glittery tomato. "Oh my god she's here! Oh no what do i do?! I'M NOT READY"

Kate turned to face her friend: "Go talk to her! Conquer her with your awesomeness!" She cheered her on. "In the worst case scenario she's straight! You got nothing to lose! GO GET HER TIGER" And with that she shoved Happy towards the blue haired girl, almost making the two crash, and then ran away, leaving the power of gay love to do its magic.

But after a few seconds she realized she was now alone. And slightly tipsy. At a party. In a place she didn't know. She fucked up.

She stared into nothing for a couple seconds, unsure of what she should do, the music suddenly felt way too loud, and the lights too bright. She shook her head vigorously and decided to go get another drink.

It took her a while to find the table with the drinks, and she sighed in relief as she saw it trough the crowd, not so far away from her. She jumped over to it a d reached for the nearest can, but someone else reached for it at the same time.

She got a glimpse of the person's hand, it was unusually small. She snapped her head towards the stranger, and was met by a head of messy black hair, and, after looking down a bit, two big blue eyes.

"Kate?! Yo what the fuck I tought you were dead!" The short guy took a step back. "Why weren't you at the lecture this morning? I was worried i scared you away man!" He lightly punched her shoulder, and he looked irritated, but with those big round eyes and baby face Kate couldn't help but find him adorable.

"Ah, actually i overslept and accidentally skipped all my classes today" Kate scrathched the back of her neck as she looked away.

"Are you fucking kidding me right now?!" Brian inched closer: "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?!".

Kate felt really attacked for a moment: "Eh, i wish i was, i had no idea you were coming to the party though".

Brian took a few steps back, and grabbed a can of beer: "Well, at least you are ok... I am here for family reasons, nothing too serious but my parents still wanted me to attend.".

"You're the second person to tell me they've come here tonight for family reasons, do you all hate that Joshua guy so much?" Kate furrowed her eyebrows, taking a small sip from the can she grabbed earlier and leaning on the table a bit.

Brian gave an exasperated sigh: "Oh, you have NO IDEA!" He started gesturing frantically: "He's such a cocky asshole who uses his daddy's status to get out of all the trouble he causes! Also he's creepy as fuck! No one can stand him, and honestly i am so glad Tim decided to come here with me, i think i would have started nervous-puking if he wasn't around..." Brian started nervously chewing on his nails.

"Oh, Tim is here?! Where is he?" Kate perked up and started looking around the room.

And, just like he heard her, Tim popped up from the crowd behind his boyfriend: "Oh my god! Is that 'Comically big space buns' girl?! KATE, BRIAN TOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!" He stumbled towards her and drammatically put an hand on her shoulder as he put his other hand over his heart.

"Oh my god, are you already DRUNK?!" Brian put his beer down and worriedly grabbed his boyfriend's arm, looking like a worried puppy.

"Don't worry, I'm just a bit tipsy," Tim ruffled Brian's hair: "Have you always been that cute, bunny?"

Brian made a weird embarassed noise and covered his face with his hands: "Oh my god, shut up". Kate could clearly see the tip of his ears becoming as red as a tomato.

"Hi Tim," Kate did a little wave "i had no idea you would both be here, what a nice surprise!" She shifted her weight from one foot to the other nervously.

"To be fair neither of us wanted to come, i'm sure Brian told you all about it, but since his parents basically begged him to come, i just couldn't leave my bunny alone" Tim said, putting his hands over Brian's shoulders, who rolled his eyes a little, but leaned closer to his boyfriend.

Brian squinted at Kate: "Wait, why are you alone? Isn't this your first time here?" He walked away from Tim, who whined like a puppy.

"Oh well, i came with my room mates but... They are busy... And now i'm kinda lost bu-"   She couldn't finish her sentence because Tim grabbed her shoulder.

"AND THEY LEFT YOU ALONE?! In a place you don't know?!" He looked scandalized.

Brian shook his head in disapproval and turned to Tim: "See? Told you they smell like trouble- he then went back to looking at Kate -That girl, the 'blonde beast', her family's got quite a reputation too, they are known to be rowdy people, i wouldn't trust her." He gritted his teeth.

Zarya's family had a bad reputation as well?? Kate stumbled a bit, how come she never heard of that before? She had just arrived, but one thing she learned is that gossip spread around quickly in that town.

"Do they?" Tim looked as lost as her for a moment, but Brian shot him a quick glare, and he promptly corrected himself: "Ah yeah, they sure do..."

The atmosphere felt heavy, and if they hadn't been attending a party right in that moment the silence would have been impenetrable.

"You know guys- Tim spoke up first -the air here is getting so heavy, do you maybe want to go take a breath of fresh air? Maybe near the pool?" He shifted his weight a little as his eyes went from Kate to Brian and back every few seconds.

Brian walked over to him and rested his head on the other's chest, and sighed: "Yea, i really need to clear my head for a bit..."

Tim ruffled Brian's hair: "What about you Kate? Are you coming?" He smiled genuinely.

Kate hesitated a bit. She barely knew those two, and they were already shit talking her room mates, whom she also barely knew, but the had at least more than one conversation with. Were those two really trustworthy? At the same time she realized she really didn't want to be alone again.

"Yea, let's go get that sweet, sweet fresh air."
She gave in. They didn't seem menacing, and being with them was a much better prospect than just wandering the halls waiting for the others. And who knows, maybe she could manage to get some more information on the strange beef the two had with her room mates.

She followed them trough a couple corridors, and they came out on a huge terrace, with a pool right in the middle. A big crowd was scattered all around the place, and many people were swimming and messing around in the pool, most of them were making out half naked.

The trio managed to find a quiet spot next to the railing to settle down. From there they could see the patio under them, and the other pool, where even more people were partying. Kate desperately wished to have an house like that.

"So, what's New York like? I have only seen it in movies, is it as amazing as the media make it out to be?" Tim was once again the one to break the silence.

Kate tucked a strand of her hair behind het ear, while leaning on the railing: "It's much buisier than here, it's really chaotic."

"Is it true you have tons of rats?" Brian asked grinning.

Kate was about to answer, but a jolly yell interrupted her.

"WELL LOOK AT THAT!! IF IT ISN'T MY TWO FAVOURITE BUDDIES!"

Tim tensed up and Brian became pale, as someone grabbed the couple with each of their arms and pulled them in a weird hug from behind.

The first one to react was Brian, who started trashing around and screaming: "LET US GO, YOU ASSHOLE!!"

Now, Kate had met tons of tall people, but the man in front of her was FRICKING HUGE. He towered over everyone around him by at least a foot, it was honestly terrifying, Kate had never felt so tiny.

"Ahahah, aw come on, i was just greeting you, don't act like an angsty puppy" the tall man pushed away Brian, who stumbled fell on the ground on his butt. "I see the little Erik family's boy brought his..." The stranger looked at Tim for a couple seconds before releasing him as well "...boyfriend".

Kate could now get a better look at him. He was of average looking build, height aside. He had pale skin, and blonde hair that almost looked white, that were pulled back thanks to a generous amount of hair gel. He had blue eyes, but unlike Brian's, which were a beautiful baby blue, his eyes were much clearer and looked icy and malicious. He had a smug grin on his face, his teeth looked awfully sharp. He was wearing expensive clothes and jewlery.

Despite his tone and expression being friendly, Kate felt like she was in front of a terribile predator waiting for the right moment to strike. She gulped and took a step back. In that moment she wanted to be anywhere but in front of him.

The tall man took notice of her existence, and turned to her, smirking, but, as he was about to take a step forward, Brian jumped in between the two. The difference in height was painfully obvious, with Brian's head barely reaching the man's chest. He looked like a twelve year old child compared to the huge man.

"Leave us alone, we don't want anything to do with you!" Brian almost growled, causing the tall man to burst into laughter.

"Aw come on don't be like that- he patted Brian's head, who immediately moved away -besides i wanted to talk to the lady..." He easily shoved Brian aside, making him yelp.

Kate was frozen. That man gave off bad vibes. He stopped in front of her, and she had to physically look up to him, just to see his ice cold eyes staring at her with a malicious sparkle in them. She jumped back a bit as he offered her his hand.

"I don't think i have ever seen you around, are you new?" His mouth smiled widely, but his eyes were cold. Kate shivered, but she shook his hand. It was warm and rough, and at least twice as big as the girl's hand. He shook her hand firmly.

"Y-yea, i just moved into campus, i'm an english major, my name is Kate Harrison, i-i-i uuuh... " She trailed off, getting a  chuckle from her interlocutor.

He put his hand away, and grinned at her once again: "Well, nice to meet you Kate... I am Joshua Mörder, i'm sure you heard some things about me." Kate gasped a little and her eyes went wide. That was the guy?! She suddenly had the feeling that people were not exhaggerating when talking about him.

Joshua looked back at Tim and Brian: "So, is she your... Friend?" He looked amused, as he pointed at Kate. The duo did not answer, but Tim got closer to Kate and pulled her away. She felt extremely relieved to not be near to the tall man anymore, but now his stare was on her as well.

"You're a weird one Brian, you always choose such interesting people to hang out with, i'd really like to know why..." He brought an hand to his mouth to cover his smile as he chuckled again.

Brian stepped in front of Tim and Kate, and gestured towards Joshua: "That is none of your fucking buisness, tall ass! Leave us alone!" He started walking away without turning his back on the blonde, just as the other one erupted into laughter.

"'Leave us alone Joshua!'- he mimicked in a high pitched voice -God you are so funny! Why don't you join me and the others in our private area? Your friends can join too" He shifted his gaze back onto Kate and Tim, still grinning like an ass.

Brian was fuming, and it looked like it took him a huge effort not to punch Joshua on the nuts: "Thanks but no, we're good. Let's go guys." He started walking away, Kate was quick to follow, and Tim was right after her. But he was too slow apparently, because Joshua grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back.

"Oh come on," He faked a pout: "I insist, it would rely be such a shame if you didn't come, shortie." He huge evil smile spread across his face, as his grip on Tim's shoulder tightened.

Tim was trying to break from his iron grip but without any results: "We aren't coming with you, fucking asshole, who d-". Brian cut him off: "Fine, we're coming, but let him go" He looked worried, but flashes of anger could be seen in his eyes.

"DEAL!" Joshua pushed Tim away, making him fly against Brian. "Now follow me! You don't want to get lost in the crowd..." He clapped his hands togheter as he giggled like a toddler.

Kate didn't like the idea of having to follow that creep to whatever place he wanted to take them, but she felt like she would get really hurt if she refused to go. She turned to her friends looking for help but she saw them frantically whisper to eachother, they clearly weren't happy about the situation either.

So they followed Joshua trough the various halls, until he stopped in front of a wall and pushed it in. A segment of the wall moved back a little and slid aside, revealing a staircase. "This way for the third floor!" Joshua declared happily.

The third floor looked pretty much like the others, really modern and fancy, with most objects looking like they could be worth more than the average person's life. But in this one there were quite a few small sofas, arranged in circles. A few people were sitting on them, animately chatting to eachother or playing drinking games. When they passed, Kate saw many of them turning around to look at them, or, to be more precise, at her. It probably was just her immagination tho, since no one there had no actual reason to stare at her of all people. They were probably looking at Joshua, he was the host of the party after all. Still, she couldn't shake the feeling of being the center of attention.

"Jooshuaaa, oh my god where were youu?!" A seemingly drunk girl popped up from behind the corner. She had dark skin and a huge afro. She had a pretty face, but damn she was completely wasted.

She basically plopped onto him, as he tried to hold her up: "Get a hold of yourself Venessa, you're looking like an hobo" He pushed her back rudely, and he started bickering with her.

Brian took the opportunity and leaned closer to Kate: "The moment we have the occasion, we're getting out of here at the speed of light." He whispered so softly she could barely hear him.

Venessa stumbled closer to Brian, holding onto Joshua's arm: "Heyyyy lil' guy... You're from the Erik family riight?" Brian nodded softly, giving her a hard stare. "Eh, why are you so small... Eheh, hey is it true that people in your family fuck with hu-" Brian gasped and looked like he was about to hit her, and Joshua quickly shut her up by putting an hand over her mouth.

"You are fucking drunk, go to sleep already" He shoved her away, making her trip and  fall over a sofa. Right in that moment, Pearson rushed in, he was absolutely out of breath.

"JOSHUA!- he was panting like a dog -Zarya, the Blonde Beast, set the pool on fire, and-" The blonde didn't let him finish: "Ah yes, she does that everytime, what's the issue?" He laughed a bit as he grabbed and opened a bottle of beer.

Pearson finally caught his breath and looked up at Joshua: "The cops are here...".
