Yes or No?

{Oh no! I updated finally!! Somewhat short chapter, getting back into remembering where tf i was taking this fic}

Groggy... so, so dizzy.

Where? Where was this place? Was this place normal? It was quiet.

Why was it quiet?

Izuku shifted, forcing his heavy head to lift. He could hardly will his muscles to flex, making his attempt to look up not very successful.

Gazing through messy bangs, he managed to make out the fuzzy scene of brown and soft warm lights, bits of red and silver mixed into the blur.

His head pounded, he felt weak. A sense of urgency made his blood start to boil.

He was running with Uraraka and Tsu, trying to get help. Todoroki arrived... Todoroki. He was.. he wasn't right.

Izuku's chest tightened and he realize he wasn't breathing, sucking in air in ragged gasps through a dry mouth.

"Izuku Midoriya." A lone voice run out in the bar. It was low, mature man's voice, staticky, as if he was speaking through an old phone.

Izuku could barely focus on the direction that his name was spoke from.

The scene focused slightly with the influx of adrenaline. He pieced together a dimly lit bar, shelves of bottles behind it. On the edge of the bar by the wall was a blocky TV that read "Live Feed".

"You're awake?"

The voice asked this. When it sounded out, a green light appeared next to the Live Feed signal.

So that was what was speaking to him.

"W...wh...o?" The greenette managed to croak, immediately breaking out into a coughing fit. Pain wracked his fatigued body at the involuntary jolts.

"I've known you for a long time, but it's good to finally speak to you, my boy."

For a moment this voice reminded him of an evil All Might.

"Are you in pain, Midoriya?"

Izuku could hardly respond but his mind screamed yes. He hurt so fucking much. He was point to pass out again. His leg was swollen and burning, his neck ached, his muscles weak. It was as if his body was actively crumbling.

"Do you want me to help you with that pain? I need you to say yes or no."

Izuku squeezed his eyes shut, barely aware of thick tears trailing down his cheeks.

"Pl...please?.."

"Relax."

Izuku's mind went blank.

Todoroki nosed around the crowd, seeing his class mixed with pro heroes and police.

He eyed Aizawa, being buried into a stretcher.

There was someone missing.

"..Momo." He turned towards the vice class representative. "Where is Midoriya?"

The dark haired girl smirked, "What, you worried~?"

She gazed around, the teasing quickly fell to concern.

"...Midoriya?" She yelled slightly, quickly hushing everyone around them. The head of green did not make itself known. "Midoriya??"

"Is a classmate missing?" A police man stepped forward, recounting. He seemed to pale with worry.

Uraraka pushed forward with a confused look. "Todoroki-kun, you saw us up on the catwalk and we left him with you. How did you loose him?"

The halfie's ears twitched slightly as he narrowed his eyes. "Catwalk? Are you mocking me?"

"N-no! But you saw us!"

"I never left the ground."

Confused, the class looked between each other.

Where did Izuku go?

As the realization settled in that the greenette was MIA, Todoroki felt himself tense. He kept looking around, tail flicking sharply behind him as he started to look around, wandering over to anywhere he could be sat at.

"What? Who's missing?" A hero called, the police joining in.

As the class started to describe what the problem was, Koda raised a hand and asked for a bird, whispering to it to go and search the dome to try and find him. A search party was sent along with it, but the class was ushered away.

"They'll find him, he might have passed out on the way out."

It was the promise the class was left with as they were forced back to UA.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"

The scream ripped from Izuku's throat, blood gurgling as he tore his vocal cords raw.

He didn't know what was happening, he just knew he was doubled over, clawing at the horrible sensation of burning heat coursing through out his body.

His voice crackled and failed, sob breaking him off as the boy gulped in air just to wail again.

"So loud."

The man cloaked in shadows scoffed in front of him. Izuku had woken up in anguish, he didn't even know how or why. It felt like every nerve end was lit with flames.

He screamed and screamed until his throat was so raw, he could barely hiss out a wheeze.

"Are you done?"

He trembled in the floor, clawing at his own arms, desperately trying to bring some stability back into his body.

It didn't work. He felt blood bloom from the markings. Poisonous tears rolled down his cheeks, nose running.

"I haven't even finished. You can't just keep flailing. I'm trying to take your pain, my boy."

A hand moved out from the shadows, scarred lightly. The pale skin was grey in the light. His palm connected to Izuku's forehead.

Another wave of pain flowed through him like he was hit with a bullet trail. He didn't have the energy to move away, crumbling against the hand.

Izuku could only close his eyes and pray, pray for it to end.

"There."

Izuku didn't even hear what else he said, he was already consumed by a black void.

"Hello 1-A!" The rat-bear-dog-cat-mouse waved his hand from the teaching podium. The smile he wore was simple and blank. It was rare when their principal didn't smile.

Half-hearted greeting were given in response.

They w ere all worried, even Bakugo, though he refused to admit it.

"Izuku Midoriya has been found at the USJ. He is okay, is not slightly unstable. He's in a good hospital with good doctors. However, it sounds as if there was some quirk meddling between the consuming stories of Uraraka and Jirou's vs Todoroki's. Neither are to blame.

A pretty general sigh of relief passes between a few people.

"If it wasn't for Deku, we wouldn't have gotten help." Jirou sighed, looking at Uraraka from across the room. "He saved us.."

"When can we see him?"

"How's he doing?!"

Where is he!"

"How'd he get lost?"

Several questions flooded the room. Their principal simply held up a pawn and smiled.

"Please, do not concern yourself with Midoriya. He wouldn't want to be this much of a distraction. On the other hand, you all have tomorrow off. The day after, your teacher will be coming back to the classroom and you should all resume your usual classes!"

People murmured.

"Todoroki, Uraraka, and Jirou, please join me in the hall!" His chipper tone didn't for the rest of the room. It dipped into a concerned silence.

The three followed obediently, sharing worried glances between each other.

What had happened to Izuku?
