Todoroki had surprisingly not even tired out on the job to the beach where as Izuku was still panting a little, seeing his mentor and called out a loud, "Heeey!!"

"Young Midoriya!" A skinny, blond man called back, then his eyes shifted to Todoroki. "Who's this..?"

The haflie looked at All Might with slight suspicion, not trusting him. He didn't even know he was All Might after all. "I could be asking the same thing to you.." He slightly hissed.

This was a new side to Todoroki so it surprised Izuku for a moment but he smiled. "Um, this is-.."

"Toshi." All Might, or Toshi now, offered, Izuku blinking at him before smiling a bit more.

"And, ..Toshi.. this is my new friend! Todoroki!" Izuku practically beamed. This was his first real friend... not someone he was yelled at by as he followed them around because he admired them..

The haflie seemed a bit surprised that he was introduced so fondly.. smiling a little, he stepped a bit closer to Izuku, Toshi eyeing the fact the cat featured teen curled his tail around his student's ankle.

Izuku casted a glance down and smiled at Todoroki, standing on his toes for a moment to scratch behind his ears, Todoroki ducking his head a bit more so he could see what he was doing and had more access.

Toshi chuckled lightly, "Huh. Well... Hello young Todoroki... and may I ask, you're Shoto Todoroki, right?"

Izuku blinked at him as the haflie tensed, how did he know that?

"Endeavor's son, right?"

Todoroki gave a slow glance at Toshi, such pure hate in his eyes that it took the hero aback. His ears flattened on his head, but not to the sides like he normally did when he was sad or scared but straight forward.

"..I am.." He said sourly, turning away and moved his head away from Izuku's pets.. that's when the greenet knew something was really wrong.

"Todo..?" Izuku said softly, tilting his head at him with a concerned frown. Despite Todoroki's clearly bad mood, he copied the greenet and tilted his head too.

Izuku couldn't help but chuckle a little, smiling a little and kept his head tilted. "I wont ask right now, okay?"

Shoto's ear relaxed a bit but they were still a bit tensed forward. That when Izuku noticed his normally round pupils were reduced into little pin pricks. He must really not like his dad then...

A slight cough broke up the moment from a rather confused All Might, Izuku jumping from the noise as he basically forgot he was there, quickly turning back to him, blushing a little. "S-sorry!"

Oddly, his mind went, 'Just had to make sure my cat was okay!' But he clamped his mouth shut before he could say that out loud.

"It's quite alright.. are you still up for training today?" Toshi asked, getting an enthusiastic nod from Izuku.

"I don't have time for breaks, I need to get stronger!" the greenet declared, clenching his fists at his sides in determination. Though he quickly fumbled with the cold water and handed it to Todoroki, "Make sure to drink some water, okay?"

His cat seemed ever so slightly surprised but nodded slowly, going over to sit on a rock to water. Izuku watching as he opened the bottle and sniffed it before taking a sip. He beamed, feeling energized even more and started to clear up the trash that covered still a good eighth of the poor beach.

By the time it was nine and the end of their training, Izuku was huffing, sweat dripping off his exhausted body, leaning forward which his hands on his knees as he used the sweat towel to clean away some sweat on his face. "Phew.."

Now it was at most a twentieth of beach trash left... and he still had about a half a month left before the entrance exams for UA! He could finish it by then...

After a moment there was a tap on his shoulder, Izuku looking up tiredly to see Todoroki with Izuku's water bottle and gaped. "Y-you're still here?! You didn't have to stay here the whole time you could have gone home- you should get home, oh my gosh what time is it-!"

"..have a drink." Todoroki insisted, cutting off Izuku's rambling as he nodded, taking the offered bottle and drank a fourth of it.

Toshi watched with amusement. "You did good today, Young Midoriya."

Izuku beamed tiredly over at him, "Thank you, All M- Toshi."

They both tensed up at Izuku's small mess up and sent equally nervous glances at Todoroki who was yawning, licking his lips after and looked back at them, pausing a little with his tongue still half way out when he noticed he was being stared at, looking back cluelessly.

Izuku was so exhausted this was just hilarious to him, starting hysterically laughing and collapsed into the sand with more wheezes, not being able to catch his breath.

After convincing Todoroki he had to go back to his own home, Izuku made it back to his bedroom and took a much needed shower and brushed his teeth, sighing in relief as he flopped on his bed. Though he found himself looking something up before he properly fell asleep.
