The two boy walked into the large mall, Todoroki hovering close to Izuku, tail a bit tighter then normal around him. The neko never really like big crowds, when he was out with Momo if they were hanging out he'd hover over her too.

"Todoroki, what do you wanna eat?" Izuku glanced at him with a sunny smile, completely unaware that he was nervous. The greenet had texted his mother that he wasn't going to be home for dinner and was eating out so she could have some left overs from the other night.

Todoroki tensed when someone bumped into his arm, clinging to Izuku a bit more, grabbing the greenet's yellow back pack and pressed himself against it, using the other as a short shield.

"Wh- Todoroki are you okay-? Oh." Izuku frowned, realizing it was pretty busy and led him into a small café to their left. It wasn't too busy so it gave the haflie some room to breathe. "Better?"

He nodded with a slight hum, slowly letting go of Izuku's bag. "..thank you."

"Of course!" Izuku beamed, "Why down we just eat here?"

"Alright.."

Izuku smiled gently, leading him to a little table booth. He sat down, automatically, Todoroki laid down in his lap. He blushed lightly since they were in public- like public-public... At least UA was safe, but now literally anyone could be watching..

"T-Todoroki.." He sighed, deciding to let him and carded a hand through his hair and started petting him as always. "..what do you want to eat?"

"..surprise me." He mumbled, purring slightly at Izuku's blissful hands.

Izuku grumbled under his breath as he was bad at making decisions and Todoroki seemed picky.. he scanned over the menu, choosing to get a double chocolate cranberry, banana bread muffin.

"Do you want something sweet or salty Todoroki?" He asked, getting a tired cat noise in response which he once again sighed at. "I'll get you a cheese cream croissant.."

The waiter came over after a moment, brows slightly raised but he didn't say anything. He had black, curly hair and deep drown eyes, a charming smile spreading across his face as he looked at Izuku. "What can I get for ya?"

Izuku glanced back down at the little menu booklet to read their orders off to him, "-Oh and that and two waters would be fine."

"Comin right up, cutie~" He walked away, leaving Izuku gaping and Todoroki quickly jerking up to glare sourly after the waiter.

What was that??

The moment Izuku got into UA if felt like everything was coming right at him. Wait- did he look gay-?

Izuku wasn't gay-

Not at all! He just got embarrassed easily and with Todoroki in his lap in public sure his cheeks would be a bit pink but-

Never once in his life did Izuku like a guy! Sure he always thought Kacchan was really cool and awesome and went through a faze of wanting to die his hair blond like Kacchan because it looked really handsome- but that was just admiring someone right? That and- uh.. he never really liked a girl before. But then again he never really ever talked to a girl besides his mom and Fluffy! But she was a cat so she didn't really count..

He spoke to Uraraka! She's cute..

As Izuku thought this to himself he couldn't exactly compare it to his admiration to Kacchan when he was younger. It was just an observation in a way... but he observed Kacchan too!.. So he obviously didn't like either of them..! But he didn't find himself too attached to Uraraka, maybe it was only because they just met- but he only technically just met Todoroki and he was super attached to him! Wait no that sounds wrong- it was only because he was his first real friend, right? Right?

Izuku was steadily getting more red and more red as he furiously mumbled under his breath at this violent realization. His words were both too fast and quiet for the human ear to even catch.. but for a cat's...

Todoroki was slightly pleased to be the greenet's first real friend, but was unsure how to feel about everything else, eyes staring at Izuku's freckled face as he waited for him to stop mumbling. If that would even happen that is..

After a few seconds of nothing changing Todoroki tapped his shoulder, jolting the mess of a boy in question out of his 'internal' rant-panic-session.

"Oh!" He gasped, feeling rather over heated all the sudden as he was pulled back into reality. "..did I mumble any of that-?"

Todoroki stared, debating on saying the truth. "..no..?"

Izuku sighed heavily in relief, squirming a little as with Todoroki laying across him it only made his face hotter. Most likely from the shared body heat of course-

"..what do you mean?" Todoroki played a little dumb just to drive the little lie home.

"N-Nothing!" Izuku quickly sputtered, shaking his head even.

Todoroki nodded hesitantly just to show he wasn't going to push, the greenet relaxing a bit.

It took a few seconds for their waiter to come back, Izuku not being to help himself and eyed the boy's  name take that read 'Shindo.'

Alright...

He set their food down, also handing Izuku a folded napkin with a wink which made him only flush a deeper red, taking it with a slightly shaky hand. It folded open revealing a message, saying 'Text me ;) xoxo' with his number under it.

Izuku was very much not used to being hit on.

They ate, Todoroki being sour about what happened for some odd reason and Izuku's brain was already much too fried to think of the reason for it.

"D-d-didnt we w-wanna go to the p-pet store haha?" Izuku stuttered helplessly, slightly holding onto Todoroki's sleeve as the halfie's tail held his leg- per usual.

"Mhm.." He confirmed, eyeing the pocket Izuku stuffed the napkin in with slight fury that he contained behind a rather cold, stone faced expression.

"L-let's go!" Izuku quickly latched onto the possible distraction and dragged the haflie towards the store.

They walked in, the greenet's eyes widening with a cuteness overload at all the cute puppies and kittens everywhere! The place was also half a rescue shelter, so it had older cats and dogs too, most free roaming. They all were pretty friendly after all.

Many cats turned towards them, ears flicking up almost all at once as they saw Todoroki who stared back much calmer then earlier, quickly felines swarmed around them all meowing much to the greenet's amazement- quickly staring in shock at Todoroki who had cats climbing up his clothes...

Izuku was even more bewildered when Todoroki meowed back.

They waded through a good dozen cats with two sitting on the neko's shoulders, the mini army following after. Man did they get many stares.

The employ sighed as she walked over, crossing her arms firmly, cutting off their path before pointing an accusing finger at Todoroki.

"You! What have I said about making our animals apart of your cat cult?!"

Izuku gaped at Todoroki at this new information.

He shrugged in response, one of the cats climbing Izuku now which made him grow stiff as a board, it started sniffing his hair.

"U-Um-" The greenet verbally panicked.

Todoroki glanced at him. "It's fine, he's just getting to know you.."

Izuku nodded stiffly as the cat curled around his shoulder after a second making Todoroki give a very, very rare smile.

The greenet found comfort in it, giving a wobbily smile back as the haflie walked over and grabbed a bag of small cat treats off the shelf, examining the back before going to pay for them, leaving Izuku now being stared at from about twenty curious cats, he just stood stiffly in fear of being attacked or something, a few minutes passed before Todoroki walked back over, snapping, all cats hopping off them and going back to what they were doing???

Todoroki wrapped his tail around Izuku's leg again as he led them out, opening the bag of cat treats and started to snack on them a bit more happily then he did with any other food.

Okay...
