"You're much stronger than I thought Jungkook. I mean, being able to stay away from your mate for so long must have taken a lot of strength."

The male in question groaned while trying his best to not hide under the blankets on his bed as he watched the tall blonde paced calmly and elegantly before him. His silvery blue eyes glancing occasionally at the wolf making him both uncomfortable and hot with desire, before looking around Jungkook's bedroom with curiosity.

"Man, you must have really hated me since you hid that fact knowing how important it is to find one's mate especially for vampires. You know it's very hard for us to find our mates."

"I DON'T HATE YOU!"

Even though Jungkook could hear how calm the other was and wasn't unreasonably harsh with his words, the younger couldn't help his reaction. He didn't want the older to think that Jungkook hated him, well maybe at first because he's a vampire but after coming to terms with his irrational stupidity and how much of an awesome person his mate is, there's no way he could ever hate Namjoon. Which explains his sudden outburst.

The room was then engulfed in silence, Namjoon staring at the younger with a surprised expression and amused bright eyes. That amusement slowly transferred itself upon the older's lips after the hues upon Jungkook's cheeks became a bright rosy red, definitely from embarrassment.

"Oh?"

Namjoon supplied deciding to take mercy on the other by breaking the silence even though he found the other's flustered expression rather cute.

"You're enjoying this aren't you?" Jungkook asked with an half-hearted glare causing the vampire to burst out into joyful laughter. He couldn't help it, his mate was too precious.

Whether Namjoon was laughing at him or at the situation, Jungkook didn't care. Just seeing his mate looking so happy and knowing that he was the cause of it, made pride swell up within him that he couldn't help a small smile from appearing. He could just watch the vampire all day.

"Ahh, I really want to kiss you." The wolf spoke out unconsciously which caused the older to stop laughing abruptly and become flustered in turn.

After seeing this Jungkook wanted to take back the words but that thought only lasted three seconds as it dawned on him that he was the cause of that flustered expression.

'Oh fuck, I really want to kiss him.'

Without hesitation, Jungkook got up from his spot sitting on the edge of the bed slowly, stalking towards his mate who instinctively began to back away as if he was being hunted. Every step the wolf took forward Namjoon took an answering step back until there was nowhere to go.

The blonde pressed his palms flat against the bedroom door, his head tilted back staring into the younger's eyes, watching the red trying its best to bleed itself into the wolf's iris.

"Can I?"

Namjoon swallowed thickly hoping to get some moisture into his too-dry throat.

"C-Can you what?"

"Kiss you."

Jungkook leaned in placing his right arm flat against the door next to the older's head, leaving a small gap between their bodies. This was the closest the two has ever been, physically anyways.

"Speak Namjoon."

The older kept his mouth shut instead, biting on his lower lip as if he suddenly lost the ability to speak. Well with one's mate before them, asking to kiss them in a husky low voice, anyone would become a temporary mute. This side of his mate was too much!

Jungkook growled deep in the back of his throat, the urge to give over to his wolf's desires was almost overwhelming. Instead he lifted his left hand, gasp the older's chin between his index finger and thumb, using his thumb to gently pull the abused lip from between the man's teeth.

"I'm the only one who gets to abuse these lips."

Leaning closer the younger slowly let his tongue soothe the heated flesh of its pain causing Namjoon to shudder with the need to grab the male and crush their bodies together before devouring his lips.

'What is wrong with me?! How did it go from zero to a hundred so fast?!'

Jungkook pulled back just to see how red in the face the older had become, watching him try to formulate words to, no doubt, continue the conversation they were supposed to be having. But all Jungkook wanted to do was hold the male before him in his arms forever and never let go.

But before that......

With a sigh the younger pulled away taking a step back just to give Namjoon space to breathe while running his left hand through his mess of hair.

"Sorry I didn't mean to attack you like that but I just really wanted to kiss."

"It's ok, I didn't mind." Namjoon replied after finally finding his voice again, slightly annoyed that the other was so far away from him.

"You might not but I don't want to do something I'll regret."

"You'll regret kissing your mate?"

"Uggh! You know what I meant!"

The vampire snickered at how frustrated the other was at failing to express his thoughts properly, watching him as he plopped back down on the edge of the bed, ruffling his hair in annoyance.

'He's so cute!'

"I don't want to hurt you again."

The younger's words were whispered so delicately as if they were finely spun glass that could break any moment, and Namjoon could even detect a hint of guilt. He was definitely reflecting on their first encounters.

With a shake of his head, the blonde left his post at the door, elegantly walking over to his mate that was currently staring down at his hands with his elbows resting on his spread legs.

"Then don't." The older said simply coming to a stop in front of the other. Gently he gasped Jungkook's cheeks between warm hands tilting his head up so they could look each other in the eyes.

"You won't hurt me again will you?"

"Never. I want to make you happy for the rest of your life."

"Vampires live long."

"Even better."

"I won't be able to feed from anyone else but you."

"Just the thought of providing you with my life giving blood, fills me and my wolf up with so much pride. Nothing would make me happier."

"Good. My mate."

And with that Namjoon leaned closer to capture those lips that has been teasing him since they got to the wolf's room, promising everything with each touch of their tongue. Jungkook pulled back slightly only to nip at the swollen flesh, growling against them...

"Mine."

"Yes."
