The Kim brothers were currently stabbing the poor red haired omega with their intense gazes causing the guy to shift uncomfortably behind the wall of muscle that is Jungkook.

"Oi you two! Stop scaring him!" The mochi huffed standing in front of the brothers to block their view of the red head but since he was shorter than the two, he was finding the task a bit difficult.

Jimin quickly tossed a blindingly bright smile, that made his eyes into cute small crescents, towards the slightly frightened male.

"Don't mind them! They are both lovable cute weirdos and they're just being all curious and stuff."

As if snapped out of a trance by their best friend's words, both Taehyung and Namjoon cooed pulling the mochi into a tight group hug.

"S-See?"

Jimin groaned out with much difficulty since he was being squished between the Kim giants.

At their display of affection towards the human, Hoseok hesitantly stepped from behind Jungkook with a shy yet bright smile gracing his lips.

He will admit that his wolf was a bit peeved by how the brothers were so close to his mate but he could also understand since they're great friends. He just have to get closer to the human if he wants him to accept his wolf side.

'Hope he won't freak out too much.'

"So this is what's taking you so long."

A familiar voice --familiar to everyone except Jimin-- filled with irritation, annoyance and a hint of jealousy called out, dragging the boys' attention towards the owner.

"Hyung!" Jungkook and Hoseok blurted out in surprise at seeing their alpha before them, at their school no less.

The said male only acknowledged his members with a simple glance before placing his heated gaze upon the three that were still locked in a group hug.

Taehyung didn't know what came over him but he instantly released his brother and best friend, his body moving towards his mate as if he was a piece of helpless metal and Yoongi was a strong magnet.

The brunette could see how blown the older's pupils were the closer he got him and how he subtly took a whiff of Taehyung's scent, savouring it.

"I-I thought you were gonna wait at the front gate for me."

'Shit, did I just stutter?'

"I did. You took too long, so I came for you. Let's go."

The older commanded leaving no room for any argument before grabbing the younger by the wrist and pulling him along to where he parked his all black Cruiser.

"H-Hey...wai-- stop! Dammit, ho-hold on! Ugh!"

The four remaining boys looked at each other then at the retreating backs of the individuals that left them only seconds ago.

"W-What just happened?" Jimin and Hoseok at once, both having identical confused expressions on their beautiful faces.

"Explain later." Namjoon snickered out finding the whole situation way too funny.

"How about we go try out that new dessert place that just opened up across from the arcade? I heard they had banana ice cream!" The blonde almost squealed in joy at the thought of his favourite dessert.

The pink mochi smiled at the older's childlike behaviour. "You and your banana ice cream obsession. Sure we can go. Would you two like to come too?"

Being the sweetie Jimin was he couldn't leave out the new guys. The surprised yet hopefully expression he got from the red head made it feel like butterflies we're dancing around in his stomach.

'What the....'

"W-We can?"

Nod.

"Yay! Kookie we can go!" The gorgeous ball of sunshine beamed at his best friend before turning said smile onto the mochi grabbing onto his arm tightly.

Jimin swore his skin started tingling underneath his long sleeved striped light blue and white shirt.

Namjoon and Jungkook watched the two walked ahead talking animatedly about dancing.

The youngest glanced at his mate then down at his hand wondering why was he the only one unable to touch his mate so casually like his best friend and alpha did theirs....

"Are you......ok?"

Jungkook could hear the hesitation in the older's voice and he hated that he was the one that put it there. He wanted his mate to not be afraid of opening up to him.

"Yes. Is it really ok if we tag along?"

"Mhm. Of course." The blonde smiled warmly. Nothing like the cold monsters that killed his parents.

'Because he's not them.'

Jungkook didn't realize that he was staring down at his hand once more until he felt rather than saw, a finger poking the middle of his palm.

Out of instinct, the younger closed his hand around the digit like a Venus Fly Trap.

Namjoon jumped, not expecting that reaction from the other at all.

"I-I'm sorry! Uh I thought you were hurt or something."

The way Namjoon's cheeks turned a light dust of pink had Jungkook biting the inside of his cheek to keep his wolf from pouncing.

"I'm ok."

"Ok. We should catch up with those two.

Nod.

The blonde had to forcibly pull his finger away, staring at the ravenette for a few seconds before awkwardly walking off to join his friends who were waiting for them.

Jungkook sighed deeply as he rethinks his life decisions.

"Ow!"

The lion flinched from the car door being slammed too hard and watched from his place in the passenger seat as the very angry wolf walked around to the driver side and got in.

To be honest, Taehyung had no idea why the man was so upset all of a sudden. He can't recall ever offending him in any way and the younger was getting slightly annoyed.

As the older got into the vehicle, he leaned over Taehyung to grab the seat belt. He could literally taste the younger's scent on his tongue.

"Why are you upset? Did I do something to make you angry? I don't like when people are mad at me and I don't know the reason why."

Yoongi sighed, he knew he was being an irrationally idiot but he couldn't help it. It's his mate we're talking about here.

"You were hugging another man."

Taehyung blinked slowly as if his brain hadn't registered the words as yet.

"Hug--"

Then it clicked.

"Jimin?"

Yoongi couldn't help the deep growl that bubbled its way up his chest causing the younger to shrink back a little. He didn't want his baby to be afraid of him but damn.

Hearing another man, he didn't know's, name on his mate's lips had him seeing red.

"Who!"

"He's just my best friend! You don't need to be all upset about me hugging him cause it's normal for best friends to hug!"

"I don't want anyone to touch you because you are mine! You. Are. Mine!"

Taehyung looked away, angrily chewing on the inside of his lower lip with a slight pout. It was his Chim Chim, his mochi, his and Namjoon's best friend! He will not have anyone tell him whether or not he could hug the pink haired male. Especially not his mate.

Yoongi didn't move from his position of grabbing the younger's seat belt so he could definitely see how upset he was. He didn't want Taehyung to be upset, especially not on his day.

This argument was ridiculous and Yoongi knew it but he couldn't help how possessive he was over the younger so quickly.

'Stupid mating bond.'

"Look at me please."

But Taehyung wasn't having it, he didn't want to let go of his anger just yet.

With a deep sigh, Yoongi proceeded to bury his face into the brunette's neck, letting his heavenly scent calm him down.

"I'm sorry. I know I'm being silly but I can't help it. I just want to take you home, make dinner for us and enjoy the rest of my birthday with you."

Taehyung jolted suddenly at his word as if being electrocuted.

"It's your birthday?"

"Yes."

The younger pushed the male away so he could look at him properly.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?! I would've gotten something for you!"

"All I want is you."

'Shit how can he even say that with a straight face!'

The brunette could feel his cheeks, ears and neck heating up at the bluntly spoken words. He didn't know what to say to that and since he didn't trust his voice at the moment, he just nodded.

Yoongi gave a small satisfied smile, finally buckling the younger's seat belt before doing the same to his.

After pulling the car out onto the road, Yoongi held out his right hand silently asking for something. At first Taehyung just stared at the outstretched limb admiring how big and strong it was before instinct took over and he placed his left hand over it, linking their hands together.

Even though it was just a simple gesture, it made their hearts feel full.
