After just one day in this magical world, which also seems to be a bit mysterious for Zhan and Yibo, the two feel as if they are in a paradise, full of wonders. Admittedly, even here they lacked some of the things of the modern world, such as electricity. But they thought, this would simply not fit here.

It all looks nicer to them when everything around them is lit with candle lanterns and torches. It is a romantic chandelier, it had Zhan and Yibo particularly attracted. This hangs in the palace of the heavenly emperor and his wife is and is illuminated by magical lights. And sometimes it makes it look as if they are dancing sparkling around the chandelier.

Their second day in the magical world, they spent not only in the heavenly realm, but also at Dragon Mountain, where they witnessed a rare occurrence. They were allowed to watch a young dragon hatch from its egg and even give it a name. "YiZhan" they named the little red and green dragon.

They visited Gusu Island, where they met Lan Zhan's parents, the royal couple of Gusu Island. And they met Hai Kuan and Cheng from this world. Who are a couple just like in their world. Only that here, these two will eventually sit on the throne of Gusu Island and rule this beautiful island.

After their rather short visit to Gusu Island, they flew over many small islands, took a break on Sunflower Island, which is also called the Island of Beauty, because there were only beautiful things there, and then continued to the Island of Mortals. Which received the young princes and their guests, with great joy.

Zhan and Yibo strolled with Lan Zhan and Wei Ying through the mortal market and stopped at a shoemaker. The latter, of course, immediately noticed these strange looking shoes of the two visitors. "What kind of footwear is this? It looks very uncomfortable." He said, pointing at Zhan's shoes.

"Uncomfortable? No, quite the opposite. It's very comfortable to walk in those shoes." Replied Zhan.

The shoemaker, however, would not believe it. The shoes would sit too tightly on the feet, the fabric looked strange, just like the sole. And then those laces, which he wondered what they were for. "If you made the shoes closed, you wouldn't need the laces." Said the shoemaker.

"But they're made that way on purpose. That's on purpose, you see." Asked Zhan.

Lan Zhan and Wei Ying laughed, for they too had experienced similar things when they came here with their shoes from the human world. They too were asked again and again what kind of strange footwear it was and whether it might even be a Dangerous Weapon of the humans. At some point Lan Zhan said, "Of course. I take them off and by the strings I twirl them around until they are fast enough. Then I let them go and they fly away at high speed. And with luck, right into the face of an attacker." People in this world believed him immediately.

Being very concerned about the feet of the visitors from another dimension, the shoemaker made them put on some of his handmade shoes. They fit Zhan and Yibo perfectly. It was as if they were made for the two of them. Wei Ying paid the shoemaker for the shoes and gave him the sneakers that Zhan and Yibo had been wearing and defending until just now.

They could still see the shoemaker curiously examining the sneakers and even trying to put them on himself. Zhan giggled and Yibo couldn't help grinning as well.

They ate and drank here and there and then stopped at an inn where they ordered a hearty dinner. And while they were waiting for it, Zhan asked, "How can it be that there are no unfortunate people or beings in this world?"

Yibo immediately nodded and said, "I noticed that too. Everyone seems to be cheerful and peaceful here. A little boy was standing at a candy stand earlier and the vendor gave him a sugar lollipop just like that. Then at the vegetable vendor, I saw a man giving vegetables to an old woman."

Lan Zhan nodded. "It's so common here. Here they help each other. No one has to go hungry or suffer. At least, no one here. We know it's different on Yiling Island. But no one who wasn't born there would go there voluntarily either."

Zhan and Yibo asked what Yiling Island was all about. Wei Ying and Lan Zhan then told him about King Rouhan and his attack on the magical beings and why Yibo's parents sent him to the human world. "They wanted me to be safe. They banished my powers and memories and sent me away." Explained Lan Zhan.

Wei Ying then told that he and Cheng had been kidnapped and that until today they could not find out who did it and why. But, that they were already very close to solving the mystery. "But until we can finally solve this mystery, we have to wait a little longer. Because we know that King Rouhan has been planning another attack since two years ago. But this time we are prepared." Explained Wei Ying.

Zhan and Yibo could hardly believe that there could really be someone so deeply evil in this peaceful world. But they also knew that where there is good, there is always some evil.

When the four returned to the heavens, the king of medicines, who is also a highly respected scientist here in this world, was already waiting for them. He wanted to share with the two young princes his findings so far on the vampire creature that the two brought back with them on their first visit to Zhan and Yibo's dimension.

Zhan immediately became quite excited. Because so far, he and his colleagues have not been able to examine a living vampire. But this doctor in this magical world succeeded.

"I must inform you that the vampire creature cannot be cured. Once the poison has penetrated so far into the body and the transformation is complete, it is too late. The vampire's heart is no longer beating. Even if you find a cure, his heart will never beat again. He would simply be dead. Unfortunately, I also found out that the serum containing the vampire venom can be neutralized immediately after a bite. But the venom would still be in the body, making the survivor a host." Explained the doctor.

"In our country, there are black creatures that spread the poison through their bites. They turned the humans into vampires. So they are the zero generation. The vampires who then infect other humans, who are the 1, 2 or third generation. And it seems to me, with each successive generation, more mutations occur. But we also have gray creatures that showed us themselves that their secretion neutralizes the poison. Unfortunately, we don't know where the creatures are at the moment. We suspect they are hibernating somewhere." Said Zhan.

"I assume you were unable to create an antidote from their secretion?"

"Yes exactly. We just can't manage to filter out or determine that antidote."

"Well, I think it's the whole secretion and not just something that's in the secretion. And I suspect you need samples from both creatures, the black and gray. Presumably, with both samples together, you'll be able to make an antidote without the human then becoming a host."

"Oh yes, that might even be true." Said Zhan, suddenly excited. Yibo, Lan Zhan and Wei Ying watched Zhan and the doctor discuss and didn't even rudimentarily understand anything they were still talking about in technical terms.

Yibo had to smile, because apparently Zhan had finally found someone he could talk to about this subject without having to explain it. True, Yibo thought, on their vacation, it doesn't have to be now. But seeing Zhan so joyfully excited still pleased him. And it also made him proud to have such a smart doctor as a fiancé.

After half an hour, however, Zhan and the king of medicines had to end their conversation because the doctor had been called to an emergency. When Yibo looked at Zhan and noticed his smile, he immediately fell in love all over again with the surgeon who was six years older than him. But actually, he did so anew every morning anyway when he saw Zhan next to him.

Although the two have been together for less than a year, it often feels to Yibo as if they have been together their whole lives. And here in this magical world, Yibo only had that feeling stronger.

Late that evening, when most of the Heavenly Empire was already asleep, Zhan and Yibo sat outside their chamber for a bit, talking about their exciting day and how different their two worlds were. They also talked about King Rouhan, about the shoemaker and the fact that everyone here helps each other.

Which then reminded them of the board taking control of the hotel and throwing the elderly out. How little they respected the lives of others and didn't shy away from murder. "In a way, this King Rouhan could be like the board from our world. Right?" Asked Zhan.

Yibo thought about the question for a moment and nodded. "Mhm, I think so too. I guess it doesn't matter what world or dimension you're in. I guess there's an evil King Rouhan or an evil board everywhere."

"You know, I'm surprised we're still sane after all we've been through in less than a year. Creatures appeared and attacked the people. People tried to defend their cities by attacking the creatures with bombs. Survivors had to flee and for a long time could only travel at night. Then vampires appeared. The gray creatures turned out to be friendly, curious social creatures. And yes, there is a tunnel maze to another dimension."

"I know what you mean ZhanZhan. But I think that you and I haven't lost our minds yet is because we found each other and fell in love. We share the same fate and get through everything together. Because of our love for each other, we manage not to let all this take our minds away."

"I guess you're right about that. I'm glad we're here now and can stay a few more days. Although we're both doing fine in our own world, it's nice to be here now and not have to worry about the horde of vampires finding us for once."

"Yes, I am free of those thoughts. But you my dear, you are not completely free. I know it's important to you to find an antidote or something that will neutralize this vampire poison. But please try not to think about it too much. Try to be in the here and now and enjoy the downtime."

"I will Yibo. I'm looking forward to seeing what we'll experience tomorrow."

"Mmm, I don't think it will be boring. I think I heard Lan Zhan and Wei Ying talking about some place where Wei Ying and Cheng had been abandoned. This island is said to be called Ghost Island."

"Ghost Island? Mhhh, hopefully there aren't really ghosts there. I think I've seen enough scary things. I really don't need to have any more."

"Who knows. I think if there were something like ghosts there or it was dangerous, they wouldn't take us there. Oh yeah, can you imagine, when they arrived here in this world, their names were like ours, Zhan and Yibo. But no one called them that. Because they are just Lan Zhan and Wei Ying to everyone here. That must have been hard for them to get used to those names too."

"Wei Ying told me that he didn't listen to the name for a long time. Whenever he was called, he first wondered who was meant. But eventually he and Lan Zhan got used to the names. Lan Zhan told me that police officers gave them these names in the human world. Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan. I wonder how they came up with those names? Too bad we can't ask them about it. Lan Zhan and Wei Ying don't know either."

"Oh Zhan, that reminds me. Lan Zhan said that he assumed that Mother Superior always knew that they were not normal people. And because she always knew the needs of the four of them, and has from the beginning, he believes that Mother Superior is not just an ordinary person doing good either."

"You mean she could also be from another world?"

"I don't mean that. Lan Zhan, however, suspects it." Replied Yibo.

The two talked for quite a while, jumping from one topic to the next, until they finally got so tired that they could barely keep their eyes open and tiredly went to bed to gather energy for a new exciting day.

The next chapter is the final chapter of the crossover between this story and the Mysterious Island Prince story. After that, it continues normally, in the normal world, with the "normal" problems of the two.
