We've Landed In Egypt

"Ahhh!!" I screamed as I flew through the air. I did a quick prayer that don't land anywhere like Mikaela. I opened my eyes to see yellow metal coming closer. "Bumblebee!" I saw him move before I landed roughly in his hand. Well, dying by hitting a robot head-on wouldn't have been better. "Thank you." I tell him.

He nods at me before I look away to see Sam yelling and holding his wrist. I jumped down and ran over to him.

"Sam!" I heard Mikaela yell from the distance as I finally got to him.

"Where are we? Simmons!" Sam yells.

"Egypt." I tell him.

"Hey! Yeah!" I looked into the distance to see Simmons waving.

"You guys okay?" Sam asks as we ran to regroup.

"Yeah." Mikaela answers.

"Hey, I think we're in Vegas!" Leo yelled

"Egypt." I tell them again. I'm ignored. Go figure. I sigh and ran with them until we saw JetFire on top of a rock formation.

Once we get there everyone sits down but Simmons, he starts ranting. "That really, really hurt. You're just lucky that I didn't get hurt. People could have gotten killed, okay? And if I would have gotten hurt, you would have heard from my at-" Please shut up. I rub my temples as Simmons talks.

"Oh, shut up. I told you I was opening a space bridge. It's the fastest way to travel to Egypt." I shook my head and wiped my face with my hands, with a small smile on my face.

"When did you... when did you tell us? You didn't tell us anything. You didn't tell us anything. Why are we in Egypt?" Don't anger the huge mech Sam! If you'd ask me that question and actually listened to my answer, you'd know already.

"Don't you get snippy with me, fleshling! You were duly informed!" JetFire site down as he snaps.

"Can you just stop for a second? Can you focus? Can you tell us why we're in Egypt so we can all have a little bit of semblance of peace of mind?" Sam asks. I groan and fall onto my back before covering my face with my arms while I listened to them talk.

"This planet was visited by our race once before, by our earliest ancestors, a millennium ago. They were on an exploratory mission to harvest Energon, the lifeblood of our race. Without it, we'll all perish, oxidize and rust, like my wretched self! Do you have any idea what it's like to slowly fall apart and die?" JetFire informs them.

"Let's not get episodic, okay? Old-timer? Beginning. Middle. End. Facts. Details. Condense. Plot. Tell it." I heard Simmons, I said it with him. Well...really I mumbled it into my arms.

"Somewhere buried in this desert, our ancestors built a great machine. It harvests Energon... by destroying suns." JetFire says.

"Destroy suns?" Sam asked.

"Oh my Primus." I mumble while shaking my head.

"You mean blow them up?" Leo asked. I'll let that one pass, he's new to this.

"Yes. You see, in the beginning, there were seven Primes, our original leaders. And they set out into the universe, seeking distant suns to harvest. The Primes set out with one rule. Never destroy a planet with life. Until one of them tried to defy this rule. And his name forevermore was... the Fallen." A shiver rakes my body as I listen to the words. I can't imagine any of it happening but it would've been amazing to meet those Primes.

I heard a zapping like noise so I sat up and watched at a holographic scene started to play in front of us.

"He despised the human race and he wanted to kill you all by turning on that machine. The only way to activate it is with a legendary key called the Matrix of Leadership."

We watched as a battle ensued between the Cybertronians. Blasts could be seen being thrown across the battle field while the Cybertronians could be seen fighting below.

"A great battle took place over possession of the Matrix." It shown the Fallen getting stabbed off a rock formation. "The Fallen was stronger than his brothers, so they had no choice but to steal... and hide it from him." It then shown a Prime grabbing the Matrix before the Primes ran off with it. "In the ultimate sacrifice, they gave their lives to seal the Matrix away in a tomb made of their very own bodies, a tomb we cannot find." The holograph ended after the tomb was shown being formed then exploding into rock. "Somewhere, buried in this desert, that- deadly machine remains. The Fallen knows where it is and if he finds the tomb of the Primes, your world will be no more." JetFire finished explaining. Sam climbed up to be closer to him.

"Okay, so how do we stop him?" Mikaela asks. I hung my head as I waited for the answer.

"Only a Prime can defeat the Fallen."

"Optimus Prime?" Sam asked.

"So, you've met a Prime? Why, you must have met a great descendant. Is he alive, here on this planet?" JetFire asks excited getting close to Sam. I walked up to be with Sam in front of the mech.

"He sacrificed himself to save us." I answered looking down guiltily. I felt Sam wrap his arms around my shoulders in a comforting hug before dropping it.

"So, he's dead. Without a Prime, it's impossible. No one else could stop the Fallen." JetFire said disappointed.

"So, the same energy that's gonna be used to reactivate the machine... could that energy somehow be used to reactivate Optimus and bring him back to life?" Sam asked finally using his brain.

"It was never designed for that purpose, but it's an energy like no other." I smiled remembering how excited I was when I first watched this part of the movie. I wanted to throw something at the TV when Optimus died.

"So then how do you get us to the Matrix before the Decepticons get to me?" Sam asked using hand movements.

"Follow your mind, your map, your symbols. What you carved in the sand, it's your clue. When dawn alights the Dagger's Tip, three kings will reveal the doorway! Find the doorway! Go now! Go!" JetFire shoos us away. "That was my mission. It's your mission now. Go before the Decepticons find me and find you." We backed up as he got closer before finally climbing down the rocks and getting into Bee.

We were driving down the desert when we passed some camels. I always found those animals interesting, I always pet one at a petting zoo when I went to one with Mom and Dad....I shook my head before looking forward.

I was sitting in between Mikaela and Leo in the backseat. I leaned my head back and closed my eyes while listening Sam and Simmons talk back and forth, over each other. Either way they were talking.

"Okay, here's what my CIA contact says. Ancient Sumerians used to call the Gulf of Aqaba the 'Dagger's Tip.'" Simmons.

"That's the Dagger's Tip." Sam.

"It's part of the Red Sea. Divides Egypt and Jordan like the tip of a blade. 29.5 degrees north, 35 east. Here it is." Simmons was looking at a phone in his hands when I peeked out of my right eye.

"First thing we've got to do is get Optimus to the Dagger's Tip." Sam said.

"How are you gonna get him halfway around the world?" Leo asked.

"Call William." I told them finally opening my eyes.

"I'm gonna make a call." Sam said after looking at me.

We continued to drive when we heard police sirens.

"We got cops... Whoa!" Sam yelled as cops came out of nowhere. We sped down the road as fast as we could without hitting anybody.

"I can't go to prison, guys." Leo said while looking out the window.

"Sam, we got to get off this road and lay low." Simmons told Sam.

"Sam! The road up ahead, trust me! It will lose them!" I told him while pointing up ahead. He took it and we all hid.

"Man, stupid cops! Ah-ha-ha!" Skids said when he hit his head on the wall.

"This is what's called blending in like a ninja." Mudflap said.

"Shut up or I'll blend my fist in your face." Skids warned.

"They're gone." Mikaela announced in a whisper.

"Okay, we're running out of time. I gotta make the call to Lennox-" Sam started to say while I shook my head.

"You're on the Worldwide Wanted List. Try calling one base, they'll track you here in seconds. CIA is all over this place!" Simmons told him.

"You're gonna call." Sam told Simmons.

He stared at Sam for a minute before rolling his eyes and nodding. "Oh. Okay. That's a good idea."

"All right."

"I mean, I just had my mind on other things-" Simmons said to Sam before he was pushed into a tunnel that I was now leaning in.

"-like winding up in an Egyptian prison." Simmons finished as he walked passed me.

We got to the phone booth type thing and waited as Simmons got ahold of Will.

"Lennox, I'm with the kid. The kid. You know, the one with the attitude, right? We need the truck. The truck. We got a possible resurrection going on over here. You're not gonna believe where we are. Code Tut, as in King Tutankhamen. Back of a one dollar bill. Coordinates for airdrop, 29.5 north, 34.88 east. Write it down. Write it." Simmons said in a rush as kids passed us running and laughing, I saw Leo running up to us. Though, no one else knew it was Leo. "Oh my God. I got to go. Okay. Heat comes." He hung up while watching Leo get closer.

"Whoa, wait, who are you?" Sam asks.

"Oh shi-" Simmons breaks the phone. I start laughing again because everyone was looking at Leo like he was carrying fifty guns on his back.

"Wait! It's me! Leo! Me! Leo! Leo! Leo! Cops are coming right now. We need to go!" He tells us as we heard the sirens get closer.

"Move, move, move, move. Let's go." We all start running again.

We drove and drove until we hit a road then drove some more. Oh did I tell you that I have a headache? No? Well, I have a headache from listening to Sam and Simmons going over the message again.

"Okay, let's go over it again." Sam said.

"When the dawn alights-" Both.

"-the Dagger's Tip," Sam.

"the Three Kings-" Simmons.

"-will reveal the doorway." Sam.

"That's what he said. You know what that means?" Simmons asks.

"No, what does it mean?" Sam asked.

"I have no idea." Simmons said.
I find it crazy that they haven't thought to ask me for the answers...oh, well when they get mad later I'll use the 'you never asked' tactic.

We got to the checkpoint and Leo started to freak out again. I'm gonna start calling him that 'The Freak Out'. What do you think?

"Oh my God. Oh my God. Checkpoint. Checkpoint. I don't have my passport."

"They got cameras at the top." Sam tells us.

"Then lets look at it and show my face!" I hissed at him before yanking him back into the car.

"All right, chill. This is espionage now. I can handle it. These are my people." Simmons tells us.

"Yeah." Wheelie pipes in.

"I'm one-thirty-sixth Arab." Simmons answers Sam's look.

"Oh great, a frickin' munchkin. Little people are mean. Tell him he's tall." I laugh at Wheelie before yanking him into my lap and kept him out of sight.

The guy speaks but I couldn't understand him.

"Ashu-fanah... The Dagger's... Tip? Right? Egypt, Jordan. We want to go there. Me and my family. This is my family. This is my sons, and my daughters. We're tourists, from New York." Simmons tells him while pointing at us.

"New York?" The officer asks.

"Yes. Yes." Simmons nods.

"Fifty kilometers." The officer informs.

"You look like the guy that runs my falafel stand. Thank you very much." Simmons tells him.

"New York!" The officer says as we start to drive.

"I know. I know you from somewhere." Simmons tells him as we pass him.

"Go Yankees!" I heard before we were driving again.

I shake my head at Simmons. "Unbelievable." I mutter before finally letting Wheelie go, but he stayed sitting in my lap.
