Hyunjin was under the covers of his bed.

He wasn't hiding, or sleeping.

He was crying.

The reason why you ask?

Minho.

"Daddy no like Jinnie no more~"

The little cried and cried, upset and the thought that Minho didn't want him anymore.

Recently, Minho hasn't been spending time with Hyunjin.

He's been a host for a variety show for almost a week now, and has had no time to take care of Little Hyunjin.

But it wasn't until this morning that Hyunjin came to the conclusion that Minho simply didn't care anymore.

(Flashback - This Morning)

Minho was getting ready for another exhausting day hosting a show he really, really didn't want to be doing.

It wasn't that the content was bad, but he hated the work environment.

It was toxic, and he endured verbal abuse on several occasions.

"Daddy! Come play with Jinnie.", Hyunjin said.

"No."

"Daddy please! We not play games lately."

"I'm busy Hyunjin."

"You always busy Daddy! You no want play with Jinnie ever!"

Minho was about at his wits end.

"Hyunjin, go away please. I have to go to the show."

"Can I go with?"

"No."

"But daddy!"

"Hyunjin, shut up and go! I have told you countless times I'm busy! I don't have time to sit here and play with someone who isn't even a real child!"

Hyunjin had been holding up a stuffed animal, but put his arm down.

"Please go somewhere and sit down. And for once, I am begging you, don't don't me to play with you! The answer is NO!"

Hyunjin dropped his stuffed animal, running from the room.

Minho was already regretting what he said, bit didn't have time to apologize.

Instead, he picked up the stuffed animal of Jiniret, deciding to take it with him.

Hyunjin held onto his pillow tightly as he began to fall asleep.

But before he could, the television made a strange static sound, making him sit up.

"Huh?", he said, wiping his eyes.

The tv made the sound for a few seconds before shutting off, along with every light in the house.

"Ahhhhhh!", Hyunjin screamed, hiding under his blanket.

Hyunjin lived with Minho, and only Minho. So now, he was alone, and in the dark.

"Daddyyyyy! Daddy help!", he screamed, "Jinnie no like dark!"

He began to cry even more.

It was as if a storm was passing over the some, because he soon began to hear thunder and lightning.

The little screamed again, also having a fear of thunder.

The light of his phone blinked on to show a weather alert for severe thunderstorms in Seoul.

"Daddyyyy!", he screamed louder.

He got out from his blankets, determined to find his daddy.

He was basically hyperventilating out of fear, and held tightly to the stair railings as he went down.

When he got to the first floor, he remembered that Minho was on set, and wasn't there.

The thunder crashed again, so loud it made little Hyunjin duck behind the couch, into a crouching position.

He put his hands over his ears, absolutely terrified to move.

"Daddy...come home...", he said quietly.

Suddenly, it became quiet for a few seconds.

Hyunjin looked around, standing up. He saw the rain pouring down in viscious waves, and the trees swaying.

He held a hand to his chest, his heart beating way too fast, and making him out of breath.

He walked to the back door that led to the yard, putting his hand on the glass and looking outside.

Suddenly, the thunder crashed down again, practically shaking the home.

It scared Hyunjin so badly he stepped backwards, tripping and landing on the ground.

He laid there, now feeling too disoriented to get up.

The phone rang, but he could barely hear it as he closed his eyes, completely blacking out.

Minho was backstage at the variety show.

Today's filming was canceled due to poor weather conditions.

"Dammit, answer the phone Hyunjin.", Minho said.

"What's wrong?", one of the staff asked.

"My member won't answer his phone. He's home alone. And he's scared of thunder."

Minho frantically looked around for the exit, clutching his Jiniret plushie from that morning.

"It's not safe out there Minho. The storms are bad."

"But Hyunjin is too important to me to not be with him right now. I yelled at him this morning, and I know it made him sad. Now he's alone and probably scared..."

Minho walked off quickly, going to an exit.

He passed by staff, co-stars, guests, and everyone else until he made it to the exit door.

"Minho wait!", a staff yelled.

Minho opened the door, going outside.

The storm was the most severe they had ever seen. The sky was clouded gray from the rain, the trees flew with violence, sending branches and leaves, and lightning sent hauntingly beautiful streaks of yellow across the sky.

Minho ran to his car, taking out his keys as the rain poured down on him.

He got into his car, turning it on and speeding off towards Hyunjin.

Minho pulled into the driveway of the home, parking and getting out quickly.

The lights were out on his street.

He ran around to the side. There was a generator that had to be manually turned on in order to work. He flipped the switch, turning it on and watching the house light up.

He went back to the entrance, going inside.

"Hyunjin! Jinnie! Baby I'm home!"

Silence.

"Baby?"

Minho took off his suit jacket and shows.

He walked around until he came to the back door.

"Baby whe-...Hyunjin!"

Minho noticed him on the floor, going to him and trying to wake him up.

"Jinnie? Baby what happened?", he said softly.

Hyunjin squinted his eyes before opening them, seeing Minho.

They stared at each other for a few seconds.

Then, Hyunjin reached up, being picked up by Minho.

"I'm so sorry baby. Daddy never meant to yell at you"

Hyunjin whined quietly.

"Don't cry. I'm here and I will protect you from the mean thunder. I'm really sorry my little angel. You have every right to be mad at me."

"I...I thought Daddy no like Jinnie no more."

"I'll always like you baby. You're my everything and more. I shouldn't have yelled, and I shouldn't have left after I did."

Hyunjin yawned, putting his arms now around Minho's shoulders, and laying his head on him.

"It's time for a Daddy and Baby day. Let's start off with a nap. And not one on the floor."

"I sorry Daddy, Jinnie got scared and fell."

"Don't apologize baby. You did nothing wrong. Now let's go. I'll play your favorite videos to fall asleep too."

"Really?"

"Only the finest Markiplier playing Five Nights At Freddy's videos for you."

"Yayyyyyyy! I love you daddy!"

"And I love you too. Forever and always."
