Damien walked up to the new list that was added in the palace. All of the gods had written down what they needed to get done and it was erased as soon as it was done. Right now, however, there was quite a bit that wasn't done yet.

He looked around for the other gods to make sure they got this done soon. He checked the dining room first and found no one. Next he checked the throne room. Once again, not a single person. He quickly checked through all of the temples and didn't find anyone. He checked every other room he could think of, but no one seemed to be around.

Now he was getting worried. Usually, the others would be around somewhere. It was really weird to not see anyone at all.

After pausing for a few minutes, he decided to check the garden and see if any of them had gone there for some reason. He checked and found no one. Suddenly, he stopped moving. He looked around him and saw that it was dark outside. He looked up and saw the moon and the stars shining down on him.

He teleported back to earth and saw the same thing there. Slowly, he walked back into the palace and moved towards Aaron's room. The door was just slightly open, and he quickly peeked in. Sure enough, he was fast asleep.

Damien walked back out and went to his own room. He realized that he had worked until well into the night and after everyone had gone to bed. Somehow he had been so focused on what he was doing that he didn't even realize what was going on.

It was at this point that he began to feel the effects of overworking himself that day. He stumbled to his room and fell into bed. The work could wait until morning, and it would be done much better if he was rested enough to focus.
