We take a break from our work for a minute and sit in our new office. I've got to admit, it is nice to have real coffee again. It tastes just like the stuff I used to get from my crappy old machine. It's not even very good, but it's exactly the right amount of good for me to like it.

The only downside is that now I have time to just think about everything happening. I can't believe she just did that! She could have hurt all of us so much, and she doesn't even feel bad about it! Why does she even have to be part of us?! Can I just get rid of her before she does some actual damage? Probably not. Ugh! I just hate her so much!

Suddenly the cup in my hand explodes, sending coffee and pieces of broken glass flying all over the room.

"Geez!" Aaron yelped, "Is the coffee that bad?!"

"No, I'm fine."

"Okay."

"Did any of the glass hit you?"

"No, a little of the coffee did, but nothing too bad."

I wave my hand and my cup comes back together, coffee and all.

Suddenly we hear an explosion coming from outside. We look at each other and lock eyes for a brief second before getting up and running out to see what happened.

We move towards where the sound came from and see two of the others trying desperately to kill each other while two people on each side hold them back. One of them, a Chinese woman who looks like she's in about her mid-thirties named Jin looks at me and yells over at us.

"Thank goodness you guys are here!" she says, "These two started out just arguing, but it's escalated a lot! You need to get over here and help! I don't know how much longer we'll be able to hold them!"

The other people look at us briefly, but are forced to turn back to the people that they're holding. The two guys fighting don't even look up and acknowledge us. They're just too dead set on each other to even care.

Aaron takes my hand like I did to get Ariel before. Without saying a word, I know what he means. We nod to each other and force the two guys to be completely still and force them about ten feet apart.

"Now!" I say, "You two need to calm down for a few minutes. What happened? And why are you trying to kill each other?"

Neither gives an answer. One of them is clearly furious and has tears running down his face. The other looks just as angry and has a large burn mark on his face. That's probably from the explosion we heard.

I don't think either of them even can talk right now. I wonder how long we can hold these two here. They're both fairly powerful and even with Aaron and I combining our powers, I'm not sure how long we'll hold out. I glance over at Aaron and I can tell he feels it too. We have to find a better solution, and we need it soon.

Suddenly, I feel the one who was crying, stop fighting us. I let go of him and Aaron quickly follows suit. Now we just have to focus on the other one. As soon as we let go, the one who was crying drops to his knees.

Man, what must have happened with these two to make that happen. I look at the other man and see a small look of shame. At least he's calming down a little bit. I feel him stop fighting our powers and let him go. Aaron does too and we let go of each other's hands.

The man with the burn just stands there and looks on with pity and a bit of disgust.

"Pull yourself together, man," he says, "It's not dignified to react like that."

"So, what happened?" Aaron asks.

"I'm Albert and he's James" the burned man says, "Basically, we tried to kill each other back on earth way back when. I also managed to kill his family. He did the same a while after that to me. We just recognized each other and now if you'll excuse us, we need to get back to business."

Aaron and I quickly join hands and force the men away from each other. He grabs my hand a little tighter, and realize that I'm doing the same thing. We're not going to be able to hold this much longer.

"I'll kill you!" James yells.

"Okay, both of you!" Aaron yells, "Both of you are in the wrong. Okay! Both of you did absolutely horrible things to each other before! It wasn't okay then and it's not okay now! But you two beating each other up and destroying the garden isn't going to solve anything! If we need to keep you two separate, then we will, but you two need to stop! You don't need to like or forgive each other, but you need to find a better way to deal with this."

We put them down and both men give each other death glares. After a moment of complete silence, they walk away in opposite directions and everyone else just looks relieved. It's going to be a nightmare keeping those two away from each other. I guess I can't blame them for feeling this way, but damn. That is really bad luck.

"We need to get back to our brake," Aaron says.

"We've still got work to do."

"Damien, I know you feel this too. After what just happened, neither of us has enough power right now to do much of anything. I feel like I might fall over, and I'm willing to bet you do too. We're just really lucky that they didn't know that, or they might have destroyed the entire garden. Now come on, let's go get some more coffee and get ready for whatever we need to do next."
