Lumine was walking through the courtyard area of their new college, a massive campus that could fit potentially two blocks and a road in it, with apartment-like dorms separated by element on one side of the courtyard and the departments and main campus on the other.

She was merrily walking down the walkway, taking in the many flowers that seemed to bloom here. They were very well-tended, as she had seen a young student with shoulder-length silver hair humming softly as she tended to some Glaze Lilies.

The sun was beginning to set and Lumine was about to head back to the Cryo dorms when she heard an explosion nearby. Worried that something might've happened, Lumine rushed towards the source of the noise.

She had expected an intruder. Maybe it's Aether's paranoia that's rubbing off of her, but she also thought it could be a terrorist who had slipped past the security somehow. But no, what she saw instead were two young kids with glowing orbs in their hands. One had crimson eyes and light blonde hair tied into little pigtails and a strand of hair poking out of her red beanie hat. Clover charms were attached to both the hat and her uniform, which was alternating between red and white. There was a brown backpack that had a bunny-looking charm on the side.

The other was slightly taller, and had short pink hair with the bangs tied up, and blue catlike eyes. The cat motif was all across her outfit, with cat silhouettes on her socks and knee-length jeans that had a mini cat head sewed on the left. She also wore a pink elbow length jacket with white inner linings and a blue shirt underneath. A pink bag whose strap was draped over her right shoulder had multiple compartments to it, though Lumine didn't know what they were for.

Anyway, Lumine's at a loss, because she really did not expect to find two children to be behind the explosion. The pink-haired girl inspected the orb in her hands.

"I don't see how this would help destroy the wine industry," were not what Lumine expected her to say. But alas, she did witness her twin brother do (and say) some way crazier shit when they were younger so who is she to judge?

"Those were some leftover Harpastum Bombs I found from last year's Ludi Harpastum!" The blonde girl answered gleefully, which greatly worries Lumine. "Those didn't go off during the festival but I reworked them so that they do! Klee knows they can blow up entire buildings now!"

And that was when Lumine did a double-take, alerting the children of her presence when she doubled over coughing. The blonde girl, whose name Lumine assumes is Klee, rushes over in concern, dropping the apparent bomb on the grass. The other girl stands behind and just watches as the young adult in front of her is dying.

"Are you okay?" Klee asks when Lumine calms down. The latter nods, scratching the back of her head. Klee brightens up at that, relieved that everything is okay.

"I'm Klee! And that girl over there is my friend Diona!" Diona looks at her bomb and says nothing.

"...I'm Lumine, nice to meet you." Lumine smiles at them awkwardly. Kids are definitely not her forte.

Klee grabs the bomb she dropped on the ground and faces Lumine, lifting the orb in her hands, proudly showcasing it.

"Look here Lumine! This is a Harpastum Bomb!" Klee continued to wave it around, not caring if the thing decided to detonate right then and there and began to explain what she'll do with it. Diona sighs behind her.

"I think she knows, she was eavesdropping on us earlier." Wait, how did she know-

"What does that word mean?" Klee was confused, lowering the bomb and lifting a hand to her chin, trying to figure out what it meant. Diona ignored her and glared at Lumine.

What the actual fuck.

Klee soon gave up trying and is now attempting to recruit Lumine in her grand plan. She also made her swear not to tell Jean that she broke out of "solitary confinement", which what did this kid do to warrant her apparent guardian to put her in solitary confinement of all places?

Well, anyway, Lumine's in way too far at this point so she might as well be an accomplice to whatever antics these kids are causing, which resulted in her fixing up the bombs a little so they don't accidentally detonate. Klee finished explaining her plan to help Diona destroy the wine industry, to which the latter kept insisting that this is one of the worse ways to go about it.

Albedo, from the second floor window, was actually live texting the groupchat the whole thing, which brings us to the texts above.
