The Ninja had arrived at the Dark Island, but were on the lookout for the Stone Army. Kai ran back to the now disguised Bounty, covered with sand.

''This whole island is swarming with Garmadon's indestructible Stone Army.'' The Fire told the others.

''Ha! Good thing we're Ninja and we know how to hide.'' Jay replied, using a giant leaf to hide a wood pole.

''Who wants to hide when you can fight?'' Cole asked. ''I'm getting tired of having our heads buried in the sand. I wanna fight these guys.''

''But Cole, they have no apparent weakness. It would be unwise to start a fight we cannot finish.'' Zane said, stopping his digging to look at the Earth Ninja.

''I'm afraid Zane's right.'' (Y/n) told Cole.

''That is why we must find the Temple of Light,'' Wu replied, walking out of the Bounty. They went inside, where Misako explained the scrolls.

''The scrolls say there is a hidden temple on the island. If you find it, it will give the Ninja pure elemental powers, powers that can destroy the indestructible army.'' She told the others.

''So you're saying we get to fight? Whoo-hoo! I've got happy feet!'' Cole exclaimed in excitement, making (Y/n) smile.

Misako turned to Lloyd. ''And you, my son, here it is written: "For once the Green Ninja finds the instrument of peace, he will strike it and know the power of the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master."''

''Ultimate Spinjitzu Master?'' He asked, looking at Misako.

''It means you will be able to invoke the power of the Golden Dragon, an ancient fighting style only practised by the First Spinjitzu Master.'' The old woman replied.

Everyone looked at the Green Ninja, surprised. ''Hahaha. Jealous?'' He asked the others.

''Uh, wait a minute. This all sounds too good to be true. What's the catch?'' Kai asked.

''The catch is, the Temple could be anywhere on the island, and all we have is this,'' Wu told him, giving Doctor Julien a medallion with three holes.

''A medallion. It's like a compass. When the three holes match up, the medallion will reveal where the temple is hidden.'' Doctor Julien replied, taking it.

''Uh, how'd you know that?'' Jay asked.

''Oh, I did a lot of reading in my spare time.'' Doctor Julien replied, chuckling. ''Adventure stories were my favourite.''

Zane took the medallion. ''Then what are we waiting for?'' He asked the others, who got up.

Wu stopped The Green Ninja. ''Not you, Lloyd.''

''Ah, seriously? Are we still doing this?'' Lloyd asked, annoyed.

''Wu is right. If you were to come across your father, it could prematurely start the Final Battle. We need to be at full strength before we take any risks.'' Misako replied.

''I don't see (Y/n) being held back.'' The Green Ninja said, looking at her.

''Hahaha. Jealous?'' Jay asked, looking at him. (Y/n) rolled her eyes.

''Well, I could use some help around the shop. We should get working on vehicles that might help give us a fighting chance.'' Zane's Father told Lloyd.

''Remember, Garmadon doesn't know we're on the island. It's imperative that you stay out of sight.'' Wu said to the ninja.

''Of course, Sensei. Don't worry. Have you ever known us to veer from a plan, huh?'' Jay replied, and Lloyd, (Y/n), Wu, and Misako looked at them unamused.

''Ninja—'' All the boys except Lloyd shouted.

''Shh! Not so loud. Are you trying to get us caught?'' Wu asked them.

''...go.'' They whispered before (Y/n) headed out of the room and they followed.

''Look, this must be Garmadon's camp,'' Jay told the others as they lay low on top of a flat boulder, looking into their enemy's camp.

''No, you think? I thought it was a takeout restaurant.'' Kai replied. ''It looks like he's building something, building what?''

''Nice spotting, Sherlock.'' (Y/n) said, chuckling.

''Quiet, you bozos. We still need to find what the medallion matches up to.'' Cole said, holding it and looking through it.

''Let me see,'' Zane said, taking the medallion and looking through the medallion. ''Hmm, nothing matches.'' He then spotted the falcon, on a table. ''Wait.''

Jay gasped. ''You found the Temple of Light?'' He asked, grabbing the medallion.

''No, but look!'' Zane replied, and pointed to his falcon.

''Your Falcon. I thought it got shot down and was lost for good.'' Kai said to the Ice Ninja.

''Not if I can retrieve it and get the pieces back to my father,'' Zane said, standing up.

''Wait, Zane. You're veering from the plan. We're supposed to be finding the Temple of Light and staying out of sight.'' Cole replied, looking at him.

''And Jay said we don't veer from a plan.'' (Y/n) said, facepalming.

''If I were any of you, I'd do the same. I have to get my friend back.'' The Ice Ninja replied, before leaving them.

''The more of us that goes the more chance we'll get caught. We just have to stay here and hope he doesn't get seen.'' Kai told the others.

''Aww, I wanna fight,'' Cole said.

(Y/n) closed her eyes and focused, using her ears to listen in. However, she found she couldn't, as there was a strange force that prevented her from eavesdropping on any faraway conversation. Her ears began to hurt, making her open her eyes and rub them.

''Oww...'' She mumbled. Kai looked over at her.

''What's wrong?'' He asked, clearly concerned.

''Just an earache, it's fine.'' She reassured him.

''Oh, okay,'' Kai replied, turning away. He then turned his head towards her. ''Are you sure?''

''Yes, I'm sure.''

The other boys, (And (Y/n) ) were still waiting for Zane.

Jay looked through the medallion. ''I spy, uh...another tree!'' He said, laying down and looking at the sky.

''Jay, how did you ever become a Ninja?'' Cole asked. ''Seriously.''

''Ugh, will Zane just get his bird already and get out of there?'' Kai said to the others.

Jay aligned the medallion with three lights. ''Guys, look!'' He said and gave the medallion to Kai.

''It matches up. That must be the Temple of Light.'' Kai replied.

Cole laughed ''Jay, I take back everything I said. You are a fine Ninja. Not finer than me, but a fine-''

The group heard a Warrior talking and saw Zane, who finally got the Falcon, but he was cornered.

''I sense I may have gotten myself into a predicament, my broken friend.'' The nindroid said to his mechanical friend.

''A Ninja, here? Seize him.'' Garmadon commanded the Stone Warriors.

''That's it, I'm fighting,'' Cole said, having enough.

''We can't, they're indestructible. If we go in there, they'll know we're here too.'' Kai told the Earth Ninja, holding him back.

Cole ignored what Kai said and hopped onto a nearby rock. ''Yeah, and if we don't, we'll regret it for the rest of our lives. Come on, it's Zane.'' Then, the others followed.

A machine came and got rid of the Stone Warriors cornering Zane. They hopped out, looking at the nindroid. ''What are you waiting for, a red carpet?'' They ran off, with the Lord of Darkness watching.

(Y/n) looked back at Garmadon as they ran, and waved. ''Thanks Garmadon!'' That was when he noticed she was no longer in her wheelchair.

''They're getting away. No! Do something!'' The Captain of Chaos shouted. Kozu then commanded the Stone Warrior Army to follow them.

''Remember when Sensei asked to stay out of sight?'' Kai asked the others.

''Yeah, that was good advice,'' Cole replied. The group tried to climb over the fence but the Stone Warrior Army threw spears at them.

''Why do you never take good advice?'' (Y/n) asked.

''Why didn't we listen to him?'' Jay asked.

''Why don't we ever listen to him?'' Zane questioned.

''Look! The gate! The way out.'' Kai said to the others, pointing to it. They ran, to a bridge where a plank broke beneath the Fire Ninja.

''Hurry up. We're halfway there.'' Cole told the others. However, the ninja quickly realised the army were closing in on them from both sides.

Garmadon grabbed popcorn from a Stone Warrior. ''Excellent.'' He laughed. ''This is too good.''

''We've been in situations like this a hundred times. Quick, who's got an idea?'' Kai asked the others.

''Uh, we jump into that hole,'' Jay answered, who pointed below them, where there was a pit of Dark Matter.

''Next idea.'' Kai said.

''I say we fight,'' Cole said to the others.

''With what?'' He looked at (Y/n).

''I can't fly with the four of you, for heaven's sake no.'' She answered his question.

Kai sighed. ''What about you, Zane? What do your computers say?'' He asked the nindroid.

''I got us into this mess. I know how to get us out.'' The Ice Ninja said, and the bridge broke from their weight. ''Grab a plank! Ninja, go!''

The boys did spinjitzu while (Y/n) grabbed a plank and flew up, onto the crane and hopped onto her plank, using it to sledge above the trees while the boys followed.

''Surf's up!' (Y/n) exclaimed.

''We're falling!'' Jay shouted, his plank dropping towards the ground.

''Use your hood as a parachute!'' Zane replied. The boys used their hoods, while (Y/n) used the rest of her energy to fly.

''Whoo-hoo!'' The Lightning Ninja exclaimed.

The ninja arrived back at the Bounty, with (Y/n) behind them, barely catching up.

''Hey, they found the Falcon,'' Julien said, pointing at them.

''Why are they running?'' Lloyd asked.

''Prepare for battle. We've got company.'' Zane told them, setting the falcon down on the table.

''You were spotted? By one? Two?'' Wu asked, walking towards them.

''How about...all of them?'' Kai replied.

''Did you locate the Temple of Light?'' The old woman asked.

''It's at the top of the mountain.'' The Fire Ninja answered. ''I hope those vehicles are ready because we could sure use them now.''

''Guess you're gonna have to figure this baby out on the fly.'' Zane's father told them. They hopped in, with Kai helping (Y/n) get in.

''We've also packed another surprise in the back. Perhaps it can be of use.'' Nya said, then pecked Jay on the lips.

''Another Nya surprise?'' Jay asked, excited.

''You'll have to go too. Be safe.'' Misako told her son.

''We will,'' Lloyd replied, who joined the others in the Earth Driller.

''Whatever you do, do not stop until you get to the Temple of Light. Our survival depends on it.'' The old master advised the ninja.

''This time, we'll stick to the plan,'' Kai replied.

''I sure hope you do.'' (Y/n) said.

''Good luck, Ninja,'' Wu told them before they drove off.

''Attack!'' Kozu commanded the Stone Warriors. Their vehicles followed behind the Earth Driller.

''You know how to steer this thing, don't you?'' Jay asked Cole as he tried to evade them.

The Stone Warrior's vehicle's stopped in front of them, blocking their way. Cole turned the vehicle and went in the other direction.

''Whoo-hoo!'' Cole exclaimed. He pulled a lever, and the drill began to spin as it started to dig underground, leaving the Stone Warriors behind. It burst out of the ground, near a mountain. ''Well, that's about as far as this baby will go. We'll have to do the rest on our own.'' He told the others, and (Y/n) looked up at the mountain.

''But we'll never make it up the mountain before they arrive,'' Lloyd replied.

''Well, then let's see what my sister packed,'' Kai said, opening the hatch and jumping out. He went to the back and activated the Fire Mech. ''Oh, I love my sis.'' He said happily. ''Leave this to me.''

Kai dealt with the Stone Warriors, throwing one into the depths of the jungle and destroying most of them. When he turned his back, however, more came.

''These guys just don't stop,'' Jay said, in a battle stance.

''Climb on,'' Kai said, and they climbed onto the mech. Looking at the army in front of him before turning and scaling the mountain.

''Ugh. They're still coming.'' Jay told Kai, looking down at the stubborn Stone Warriors.

''And they don't stop coming.'' (Y/n) sighed.

''One of these days we're gonna have to fight,'' Cole replied, looking at Kai.

''We're not climbing fast enough,'' Zane spoke.

Hearing a beep, Kai looked to see a Stone Warrior on the mech's foot. He shook it off before continuing to climb.

''Activate hook!'' He said, and the mech shot out a grappling hook. When they got to the top, they looked down at the army.

''We don't have much time.'' (Y/n) said, and they hopped off the mech.

''Oh! We made it to the top! But where's the Temple of Light?'' Jay asked the others.

''Are you sure you used the medallion right?'' Lloyd questioned the Lightning Ninja.

''Oh, of course, I used it right. It said it should be right here.'' Jay replied.

''Well, until we find it, I've got to find a way to slow them down.'' He pushed the army off using the mech. ''That should buy us a little time.'' They climbed up some more until Lloyd noticed some light.

Lloyd gasped. ''The Temple of Light.''

The group opened the door to the Temple, and saw some drawings of them on the wall.

''Guys, check this out. It's us.'' Jay told the others.

''Impossible. It's everything we've ever done.'' Kai replied, looking.

''Finding the Bounty, facing the Devourer, even right now,'' Cole said, seeing a drawing of the group, with him pointing.

''How could it all be here?'' Zane asked.

''Destiny,'' Lloyd answered. He looked at a picture of the boys, surrounding Lloyd. ''I think I know what we need to do.'' He said, wiping off the dust of the floor to find his Energy symbol. ''Look.'' The boys did the same thing. ''Okay, now what?''

(Y/n) turned her head, hearing the Stone Warriors outside.

''Why does everything have to be so hard?'' Cole asked.

''The bell,'' Lloyd said, pointing up at it. ''It's an instrument. You guys ready for this?''

''Bring it.'' Cole answered.

Lloyd ran at Cole's pillar and jumped off it, kicking the bell. He was then surrounded by bright light. ''Whoa, what's happening?'' He asked.

''No one moves!'' Zane told the others.

A beam of light came down onto Lloyd, bouncing off him and off multiple crystals, hitting Kai's pillar and giving him a new gi and an elemental blade. It then reflected through more crystals, giving the others new gis and their own elemental blades.

Lloyd was lifted into the air and began to spin, while the others watched. Soon, the blades themselves appeared.

''Guys, send him your powers!'' Kai shouted. The four boys used their elemental blades to do so, and soon, a golden dragon appeared, roaring. The Green Ninja then fell. ''Lloyd!''

''Let 'em have it!'' Lloyd shouted, getting up to face the Stone Warriors.

''Now we get to fight!'' Cole exclaimed.

Kai used his Blade to block an incoming strike with a Stone Warrior's sword. ''Cool.'' He commented, after seeing it didn't break. He then struck his blade into the ground, creating a trail of fire, which became a circle and trapped the Stone Warriors in it. ''Whoo-hoo!'' He then ran through them, kicking them.

A few tried to attack Jay, who leapt onto their spear blades. He then brought his blade down, lightning sparking and shocking them.

Some ran at Zane, who climbed the pillar and when the Stone Warriors had piled themselves on top of each other to reach him, he leapt down, using his elemental blade to freeze them in the process, and kicked the ice, splitting it in half.

Cole was faced with a few, and he dug his blade into the ground, making a crack appear in the floor, going towards the Stone Warriors, who watched with confusion and they were buried in a mound of dirt.

The Earth Ninja laughed, and turned around to do the moonwalk, jumping on three Stone Warriors before landing in the middle. ''Hee Hee.'' He said, spinning and landing on his toes.

''Lookout, it's MiCole Jackson!'' (Y/n) exclaimed. Cole looked at her and gave her a wink.

Then, a few surrounded (Y/n), who looked around at them, a smirk on her face. Seeing as she didn't have a weapon, they lowered their guards.

She let a shockwave loose, knocking them to the ground as she did earlier with the snakes.

''My turn,'' Lloyd said, summoning a glowing sphere of energy, and then unleashed the Golden Dragon.

''Retreat!'' Kozu shouted, running out of the Temple of Light with the other Stone Warriors.

(Y/n) celebrated with the other ninja, happy.

But in the back of her mind, spoke a voice, who was not Morro, but of someone (Y/n) knew.

''You don't have that much time left.''
