(Y/n) noticed a note near her closed door.

She went over, picking it up, and read it.

Dear (Y/n).

I saw what happened in control, would you like to talk about it?

Sincerely, Zane.

She looked at the note, before folding it up and stuffing it in her pocket.

''Miss (Y/n), you came to talk?'' Zane asked, sitting on the bed. The other boys weren't there, as they were out on the deck, training.

''Yes.'' (Y/n) answered, bringing her wheelchair closer to him.

''I never knew there was a second ninja in the prophecy.'' He said, eyebrows furrowed in thought.

''Yeah, me too.'' (Y/n) absentmindedly tapped her foot against the floorboards. ''I didn't know there was this ''Green Ninja'' prophecy at all.''

''Well, the more you know,'' Zane replied with a smile.

Someone knocked on the door. ''Hey, I need to get my Fritz Donnegan comics!'' Lloyd called out.

Zane grabbed the comics left on the floor and opened the door, opening it and giving it to Lloyd, who took it and left. The Ice Ninja then closed the door, sitting back on the bed.

''Wait, I have something for you.'' (Y/n) spoke, grabbing her sketchbook. She then flipped through it, stopping on the page with the falcon sketch.

She handed it to him, and he looked at it. Zane looked at her with a smile. ''It's great, Miss (Y/n), you've done a great job with the details, one day you'll become a great artist.''

(Y/n) felt her cheeks get warm. ''T-Thank you, Zane.'' She replied, putting her hand to her cheek.

''You're welcome,'' Zane said with a smile.

''See you,'' (Y/n) spoke quickly. ''I'll be with the other boys.''

The nindroid stood up, already feeling warmth rise to his cheeks. He saw (Y/n) leave, before following her.

''The Venomari's right. By the time we cast sail clear across the other side of Ninjago, Pythor will have already beat us to the last Fangblade.'' Nya spoke, looking at the monitor.

''Oh, come on, guys. This is the last one. We gotta get it. We gotta think of something.'' Jay told the others.

''Hmm,'' Cole said, putting his thinking face on.

''Hey,'' Lloyd spoke, making the others turn towards him. ''All we have to do is just get one Fangblade to stop him. What if we take back the other three?'' He asked them. ''Pythor wouldn't risk having them all on him. He's probably hidden them somewhere while he goes for the fourth.''

''It's so simple,'' Cole replied.

''Huh, why didn't I think of that?'' Kai asked.

''It can't be that easy.'' Jay said.

''Easy? My algorithms suggest taking the other three would be far more dangerous. Pythor would undoubtedly have them protected by his top generals.'' Zane told the others.

''Ha, finally. I don't have to hold back.'' Kai replied.

''Even if you could steal the other three, you don't even know where they are,'' Garmadon said.

''He's right. For the past few weeks, there have been almost no sightings. How are they moving around? It's like they're ghosts.'' Wu spoke, and Lloyd looked at the screen.

''Spooky.'' (Y/n) mumbled. The voice in her head laughed.

''Or snakes,'' Nya exclaimed. ''Bridge, give me a sonar sweep of Ninjago.'' The computer showed no activity.

''See, nothing. It's just like Sensei said.'' Kai replied.

''But what if they aren't travelling above ground? They're snakes, right? Snakes burrow. Bridge, now give me a sonar sweep of Ninjago but twenty feet below surface.'' Nya said, and the computer showed them the tunnels of the Serpentine as a hologram.

''All the tombs have been interconnected,'' Kai said, looking at it.

''To make one massive underground fortress,'' Cole added.

''And all this time, right under our noses,'' Jay replied.

''Or rather, feet.'' Zane finished.

Kai pointed to the main base. ''There, that's the most protected area. The Fangblades must be held there.''

''Then what are we waiting for?'' Wu asked. ''Nya set the course.''

''Already on it. We'll be there by sunup.'' Nya told the others.

---

''We're arriving at the Mountain of a Million Steps. You all might want to see this.'' Nya spoke over the intercom.

''Look at all those piles of dirt,'' Jay said, looking at the mountain.

The Destiny's Bounty came to a stop at the top of the mountain.

''Wonder what those snakes are up to.'' Kai thought aloud.

''Wait for me,'' Lloyd called out, hurrying down the steps.

''This is not your fight. The Green Ninja is too important for a future destiny. You shall stay with me and (Y/n).'' Wu told his nephew.

Nya arrived in her Samurai Mech. ''Well, (Y/n)'s gonna have to look after him, because we made room for you,'' she said, pointing to the extra seat.

''Well, you said you were concerned that you couldn't keep up, so Jay and Nya rejiggered the design so you could come along. Well, what do you think?'' Kai asked Master Wu.

''I think...shotgun! Haha!'' Wu exclaimed, jumping into the seat.

''I will stay back with Lloyd. I don't enjoy saying this but...good luck.'' Garmadon told his brother.

Lloyd poked his head into (Y/n)'s room. ''Got any Fritz Donnegan comics?'' He asked.

She turned his head towards him. ''Sure, in the bottom left of the bookshelf.''

He smiled, and ran towards the bookshelf, quickly finding the comic he wanted. ''Thanks!'' He said, running out of the room.

''You're welcome, kid.'' (Y/n) said with a smile, turning the page of her book.

In the Bounty's bridge, Lloyd found Garmadon stealing files.

''Transferring files.'' The Computer said.

Lloyd gasped. ''You're stealing?'' He asked, and his father turned to him. ''Dad, my friends are risking their lives to save Ninjago, and you go behind their backs to gain an advantage?''

''I'm sorry, but I can't help it. Ever since the Devourer bit me, evil runs through my blood.'' Garmadon replied.

''You left me for so long. Where did you go?'' Lloyd asked.

''Son, there are places in this world void of any good. Dark places.'' Garmadon told Lloyd.

''Is that where Sensei found you?'' The young boy asked.

''You know how I've always wanted those Golden Weapons, well, this place allowed me the power to possess them,'' Garmadon answered.

''But why didn't you take me with you?'' Lloyd asked.

(Y/n) poked her head in, seeing the two talk. Remo seemed to be frowning.

''Every boy has a choice to grow up to be whoever they want to be. But I never had that choice. Because I was bitten, evil runs through my veins. But you still have a choice.'' Garmadon told his son. ''You don't need to be like me, Lloyd. Your uncle has a plan for you, and even though it may be to stop me one day, we have to follow our own destiny. And after I help the Ninja stop Pythor, I'll need to leave again.''

''Then why don't you just leave now!?'' Lloyd asked angrily, pointing at his father.

''Lloyd—'' Garmadon started but was cut off by his son.

''No, really! Go back to whatever evil place you came from.'' The son of Garmadon said, closing his eyes and looking away from his father.

''Oh~'' Remo said, making a hiss that sounded like a laugh.

''All right, Operation Stealth was a total bust. We're gonna need reinforcements. Anyone there?'' Nya spoke on the computer. Garmadon reached for the computer but was stopped by Lloyd.

''We don't want your help, and we don't need you here. Maybe it would've been better if you hadn't come at all.'' Lloyd told his father.

''If...if that's how you feel,'' Garmadon replied, leaving. He looked at (Y/n) as he left, before disappearing from sight.

''I'm trying to help, Nya. Just hold on.'' Lloyd said, pressing some buttons. He accidentally pressed the button for the coffee machine.

(Y/n) came over and looked for the button, and Remo helped Lloyd with pressing the buttons. ''This is fun.'' the little snake said.

After pressing a few more buttons, Lloyd changes into his Green Ninja gi.

''The Green Ninja is here to save the day.'' He said with a heroic pose. He ran over to the screen.

''(Y/n)? Lloyd? Lord Garmadon? Is anyone there?'' Nya asked from the computer.

''It's me, Nya. I'm here. But my dad left. How are you guys holding on?'' He asked, and (Y/n) came over in her wheelchair. Lloyd noticed the static. ''Nya? Hello?''

''We're fine, but we're a little held up at the moment.'' She told them. ''Our weapons have been taken, and we're locked in cages.''

''And Pythor's returned with the fourth Fangblade,'' Cole added.

''Lloyd, where did your father go?'' Zane asked the potentially powerful Green Ninja.

''I-I told him to leave. He was trying to steal secrets.'' Lloyd replied.

''Oh, big surprise there. I told you about that guy, but you guys wouldn't listen.'' Kai said, nudging Jay.

''My dad's going back to where he came from. But don't worry, I'll save you.'' The young ninja replied.

''You're not ready, Lloyd. Your destiny is too great to risk.'' Wu said to Lloyd, gripping the bars of the cage.

''I hate to break it to you, Sensei, but if we don't get out of here before Pythor unleashes the Great Devourer, I think this will be the end of all our destinies,'' Cole told his Sensei.

''Ugh, I'll get you out of there in a jiff.'' Lloyd replied, running over to the weapons closet. He tried to take a weapon but they fell on him. ''Ouch.''

(Y/n) helped him up, and grabbed the two swords. ''This time, we're joining the fight.'' She said with a smile.

''Whoosh. Ninja roll. Flying-'' Lloyd tripped. ''Whoa! Ninja recover! Whoosh. Ninja roll.'' He said, practising his moves.

(Y/n) used her strength to bring the wheelchair up the mountain. She was not letting any obstacle stand in her way.

Lloyd grabbed the rope, and (Y/n) followed, getting off her wheelchair and folding it up, before going down herself.

Looking at the drawings of the ninja that the serpentine drew, she noticed a drawing of her, in a wheelchair. She sighed, before grabbing a marker and drawing over it to make it look like she didn't have the wheelchair.

She followed Lloyd to the others, careful to not make a sound.

''Hey, look up there. It's Lloyd.'' Kai said, looking up. ''And (Y/n).'' He added.

''Come on, Lloyd. You're the Green Ninja. You can do this.'' He told himself, before tripping on a rock going downstairs. (Y/n) sighed. ''That one hurt. Ow!'' He grunted as he fell all the way downstairs, confusing the serpentine. (Y/n) followed, in her wheelchair. ''I really gotta grow into this thing. Well, if we don't meet again, Pythor. Unhand the Ninja, or suffer humiliation against the Green Ninja!'' He exclaimed, looking at the Anacondrai. Pythor laughed, and the other serpentine joined in.

''Oh, yeah? You and what army?'' Pythor asked.

''Uh, how about my army of fists?'' Lloyd asked, uncertain. He punches, and kicks, almost falling to the ground.

(Y/n) came down in her wheelchair, knocking a few snakes to the ground. ''How about this one-woman army?''

''Or this army?'' Garmadon spoke, appearing with a mass of Skulkin warriors.

''Dad!'' Lloyd exclaimed.

''Lloyd, you helped me realize I do have a choice. And if there is anyone who is going to threaten Ninjago, it better well be me.'' He told his son.

''That's not reassuring...'' (Y/n) mumbled. A snake protested as she kept them under her wheelchair.

''It's me, your Fangpyre friend.'' The serpentine spoke.

''Not here, not right now.'' (Y/n) whispered to them.

''The Skeleton army? But why would they fight beside you? You betrayed them and Samukai long ago.'' Pythor replied, looking at the Lord of Darkness.

''Because everybody hates snakes!'' Kruncha retorted. The army laughs, while Remo did not look impressed.

''Attack!'' Pythor ordered the Serpentine.

''Attack!'' Kruncha ordered. Pythor took the three Silver Fangblades and pulled a lever which made the cage descend towards the Vat of Venom.

''Hey, we're moving,'' Jay said.

''Yeah, the wrong way,'' Cole replied.

(Y/n) fought some serpentine off with her swords, while her Fangpyre friend watched from afar, eating popcorn.

''Lloyd!'' Nya exclaimed.

Lloyd pulled a lever, making the snake ropes keeping the ninja, Nya and Wu in their place disappear. The cage bars disappeared as well. ''Told you I'd save you.'' He said. The weapons and the samurai suit were lowered down.

''Go, Ninja, go,'' Kai said, and they grabbed their weapons, while Nya and Wu jumped onto the Samurai suit.

''Ninja, go!'' The boys exclaimed, using Spinjitzu to clear a path. (Y/n) sent a few serpentine running for their lives, and she held out her hand, ''high fiving'' Remo.

When none of the ninja were looking, she sent a bolt of lightning at an incoming group of Serpentine.

''So long, sucker,'' Pythor said, slithering away from Garmadon. He bumped into Cole.

''Going somewhere?'' Cole asked, turning to Pythor and holding out his Scythe, ready to fight. The others turned to the Anacondrai, weapons ready.

''Oh, dear,'' Pythor replied. Cole took the fangblades, but Pythor disappeared. Remo narrowed his eyes at the sight of this.

''Where did he go?'' Cole asked.

''Who cares? We have the Fangblades. Let's get out of here.'' Kai asked. (Y/n) left the battle to let the Skulkin fight the serpentine. She followed though it was more difficult going up the steps than going down.

''Ninja, go!'' The boys exclaimed, using spinjitzu.

''Don't worry about us. We'll keep fighting the good fight.'' Nuckal said. Kai stopped and saluted.

''I never thought I'd be saying this, but go, Ninja, go!'' Kruncha replied, cheering them on.

The ninja left on the Bounty, with (Y/n) watching the Mountain of A Million Steps get further and further away from sight.

Music blasted from the speakers and a disco ball hung from the roof, reflecting light.

Lloyd walked in, looking sombre.

''He left, didn't he?'' Nya asked Lloyd. He nodded. ''Then have some Snogfruit Punch. Cole made it, and it's actually not bad. To Lloyd's dad!'' She said, grabbing a glass of punch. She handed it to Lloyd.

''Hear, hear!'' Everyone exclaimed.

''To Dad!'' Lloyd shouted.

''Tomorrow, we arrive at Torchfire Mountain to destroy these Fangblades once and for all. And it couldn't have been done without your father. I'm going to miss him.'' Wu said, and (Y/n) looked at the fangblades laid out on the table.

''Raise a glass to freedom!'' (Y/n) cheered.

Everyone cheered as well. Outside, Pythor watched them through a window.

''You're going to miss more than him when I get through with you, Ninja,'' Pythor said, laughing.
