Twentynine

After my talk with Taehyung I felt so much better. In fact, I felt stupid for being so emotional about this. Jungkook only brought a date because he was pissed at me and he knew it. I knew it. Tae even knew it. I followed Taehyung back down the stairs, walking tall in my heals. I looked down and saw Yoongi pull Taehyung into a tight hug looking over to me.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Oh, Yoongi." I smiled. "I will be just...fine."

"Should I be worried for Kookie?" I heard him mumble to Tae. I watched Tae smirk and nod his head making Yoongi laugh. "Well, go kick his ass."

I laughed and turned the corner. First person I saw was Angelica. Jaebum had his arm around her, his palm flat against her lower back and I couldn't help but smirk. How did I know they would find each other?

I continued to look around the crowd of people and it didn't take long to find him sitting at the table talking with Yugeom. The blonde girl was sitting next to him looking bored. I almost felt bad for what I was about to do.

Yugeom saw me first, his eyes going wide as I confidently walked up to them. Each stride gave me another boost of confidence as all the eyes started to turn towards me. Jungkook finally noticed that his cousins' eyes were focused behind him causing him to turn around. His eyes went wide again and I watched with a smirk as he eyed me from my chest to my toes.

"Yugeom, I'm going to borrow him." I said pointing and Jungkook. I looked over to the blonde girl who was biting her lip as she also eyed me. Jungkook was stunned in his chair so I took hold of his ear and pulled him up. "Let's go." I said and pulled him toward the study that was on the main level. I pulled him along with me, him groaning in pain as we went.

"NOONA!" he shouted.

I yanked him further until we got by the study and I let go and pushed him in to the room. I slammed the door and locked it before I turned back to him.

He was rubbing his ear with a pained expression. "I'm really starting to hate this room." he grumbled.

"What the hell Kook?" I asked him my hands on my hips.

"What?"

"You brought a date? Am I nothing to you?"

"I'm single, aren't I?" he asked in a very low calm voice.

"That isn't fair." I said in an even softer voice.

"How isn't that fair...to you?" he asked. "I waited until graduation. I bring you my transcripts to show you that I was going to graduate, and you still hesitated. All because of none other than Jaebum!" he scoffed.

"That wasn't the reason, I was just trying to stall."

"Stall?" he asked now leaning against the desk.

"Yes, stall." I said crossing my arms and shifting my wait to one leg.

I watched his eyes linger on me before he shook his head and refocused on me. "What did you need to stall for?"

"Because I had a surprise and you had to go and fucking ruin it."

"I'm not a mind reader, Noona. What would a surprise have to do with labeling our relationship?"

I sighed deeply and walked over to the desk. He stayed in place but watched as I pulled out the drawer from the side and pulled out the gift that I had wrapped for him. I handed it to him and he just looked at it. "Take it." I said pushing it to him more.

He uncrossed his arms and took it from me eyeing it before raising an eye brow to me. "You bought me a graduation gift?"

"Of course, I did." I said leaning against the wall that was only a foot from him. I crossed one ankle over the other. "Open it." I encouraged.

He hesitated for a moment before sighing and started ripping open the present. My heart started to race because I wasn't sure if this was all for none, now that we werent on the best of terms. I could feel my anxiety sky rocket as he finally got the wrapping paper off the frame.

It was a picture. My favorite picture of Jungkook and I when we were at the beach when we first met. I was straddling his lap and he was kissing my neck as his arms were around me and my head was tilted back and I was laughing. The frame it was in, was one of those premade ones that had words surrounding it. This one, had all sorts of pet names around it, but the biggest name was 'girlfriend' right at the top right. He stared at it for a moment, and I wasn't sure yet if he realized what I meant by it. He lifted his hand and his fingertips traced across the glass of the frame and his eyes were focused.

"I love this picture." he whispered.

"Its my favorite picture of us." I replied.

Then I saw his eyes move to the frame of the picture and his allowed his finger to trace the outline of the word. I kept my mouth shut letting him process the information he had just received and after a few long minutes he looked up to me.

"You were going to say yes?"

"I was always going to say yes. The only reason I made you wait until graduation was because I wanted you to be sure it was still what you wanted. When you brought your transcripts to me, I had already ordered that frame and emailed the picture for them to put it in it. I didn't want it to be pixilated and blurry. I wanted it to be a nice picture. I felt like it represented our relationship perfectly. You always made me feel safe in your arms and always made me laugh harder than anyone ever had. You always showed how much you cared for me, even through your kisses I could feel it." I spoke slowly so that he didn't get overwhelmed with the information.

"Why didn't you just tell me? Instead of letting me believe what I did."

I shrugged. "I wanted to make a romantic gesture." I said. "I felt like there are only so many things you can do for a guy that is romantic. This was the best thing I could think of." I said chewing on my lip.

"Why would you do that for me?"

"Isn't it obvious?" I asked him.

He shook his head. "No?"

I bit my lip and looked down but forced myself to look into his eyes. "Because I love you Jungkook."

He looked back down to the picture frame and slowly I saw a smile spread across his face. "So..." he looked up. "Does that make you my girlfriend now?" he asked hope clear in his eyes.

I smiled back at him crossing my arms. "I don't know now." I said. "Now that you braught a date with you..."

He smirked and set the frame down on the table gently. "Finally." he said as he started to step towards me.

I felt my skin pop with goosebumps and my heart started to race again. I was finally able to get a good look at him, and he was wearing ripped skinny jeans and a black button up that fit him just absolutely perfectly. I could see the muscles in his neck flex as he moved his body to come closer to me. Once he was close enough to me, he placed each of his hands next to my head trapping me in place. I still had my arms crossed but my back was up against the wall. He leaned into me and continued to smile.

"What do you mean, 'finally'?"  I asked trying to distract myself from his closeness.

"You are jealous." He said, his eye searching mine.

"So, what if I am?"

"Finally, I got you to show some jealously." He leaned more into me and placed a soft kiss on my cheek. "It's actually really sexy on you."

My breathing started to escalate. He was way too close to me. "Back off, Kook." I said making him smirk wider. "You are with a date."

This time he laughed and I was getting annoyed. I went to push him off but he took hold of my wrists and pushed me even further into the wall. "She's not exactly my date." he chuckled.

"What do you mean?"

"Her girlfriend and her broke up a few days ago, and she didn't show up to the graduation ceremony when she said she would. So I told her she could come with me so she could cheer up."

My eyes were wide and my mouth was slightly slack. "B-but...You had your arm around her waist."

"Yeah, because she's my friend, and I wanted to comfort her." he smirked. "She was crying before we got here and she doesn't know anyone."

"Don't you lie to me." I warned in a firm tone.

"I would never lie to my girlfriend." He said kissing me on the corner of my mouth. "I love her way too much."

I was no longer able to hold myself back. I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him into my body pressing my lips against his. I kissed him hard and deeply pouring my heart into the kiss. He returned the kiss with just as much passion and tangled his fingers in my hair pulling gently. I whimpered against his lips as he grunted into my mouth.

He pulled back from me, his breath heavy, and his lips swollen from the intense kiss. I ran my hand over the side of his face and into his hair. I smiled to him and placed a soft long kiss on his lips before pulling back.

"Kookie."

"Yes?"

"Know what I am now?"

"What?"

I giggled at the beautiful smile. "Officially, Yours."
