-Past the Infinity-

" Don't let go!"

Of course, I did. Thousands before me had struggled, and they'd end up failing anyway. The past keeps repeating itself, and no matter what you do, you can't escape it. And when you contradict the past, and rebel it against, it only make things worse. It will only make the future worse; it's like stepping on a broken pane and turning it to dust. There is no escape from this infinity; there is nothing beyond. So why struggle against it? It hurts less. There really is no point to struggle.

I think about this as I fall down the chasm. It fills my head as I look up and see my big brother, Chance. I yelled to him. " Just go! Take care of Mom and Dad!" He acted like he couldn't hear me, and shouted over my voice, " Em, no! Grab on!" He threw down a rope, but it couldn't reach me, and I knew that there was no way.

All of this happened in mere seconds. Because after five seconds, the ground loomed in front of me. Or, at least, what I thought was the ground. When my feet touched the smooth, icy surface, however, I realized it wasn't ground at all: it was a portal. As it sucked me into the deep void, I realized something. All of the thousands of people that fell down here didn't die. They didn't die.

This is where I lost consciousness.

...

Pretty good for writing it in a total of twelve minutes, right?

You're right; I should've written more in that amount of time :p

That's okay, though; This is one of my 'story previews'
