"Welcome!" My elated mom and dad speak together as Kash walks in through the door of our abode.

"Thank you once again Mr and Mrs Brooke for offering me a place here to stay," Kash says with a smile crept upon his face.

"Oh it was no problem Kash," my father speaks. "Besides, you are more like a son to us."

Noah and I were standing beside our parents, wearing a forced smile, still panting from the errands performed earlier. Right now the ambience of the house may seem jovial, but believe me the house was a mess thirty minutes earlier.

I stayed at Kiara's place yesterday and didn't do a thing mom asked Noah and I to finish by this morning. I told Kiara about Kash staying at my house from now onwards and I regretted my decision of telling her already. She asked me a dozen questions about him, of which even I didn't even know the answer of. Kiara also made me to promise her to spill all the details about today to her.

Kash walks further into the house and we follow him. He is examining each corner of it carefully. I would have grown a meter long nose if I said he wasn't attractive. He has changed so much from when we were kids. But is he still nice or has he converted into a douche?

"Haley why don't you show Kash his room?" My mother asks breaking the silence and bringing me back from the world of my thoughts to a place popularly known as earth. I nervously shift all my weight to my left leg. Kash sees me being uncomfortable and winks towards me. At that moment I was so grateful that I never blush easily."Sure," I narrow my eyes and reply to my mom still facing Kash.

I guide Kash to his room, the one and only room for which I wasted five hours of my precious life, just to clean and adorn it. I could have spent these five hours doing much more important work than this, like watching Liza Koshy's and Alisha Marie's videos on youtube, or maybe by stalking someone on Instagram, but instead they were gone down the drain.

"Thanks for escorting me to my room," he says as he enters the room but sadness glimpses in his voice.

"Are you alright?" I ask him concernedly. "Do you want to talk about your mom? It's okay, you can tell me."

"Leave," he orders looking into my eyes. I walk out of his room at once and release the breath that I didn't realise I was holding. I was trying to be nice and kind but he has to be rude to me. Great.

I go to my room and find Alex sitting on top of my bed. Excitement gleams in his eyes. I sit beside him on the bed with my legs crossed. "Your mom let me in," Alex starts to speak. "And Haley do you know that right now you are in a big trouble."

"And why is that so?" I ask him crossing my hands over my chest.

"You didn't tell me about Kash moving in," he emphasises each word as he speaks. Oops...

"I myself got to know about this yesterday... And I forgot to tell you because of all the tension... I am so sorry Alex." He hysterically laughs after I am done speaking, while I look at him cluelessly.

"It's alright Haley. I understand... But you would have to tell me if he is hot or not."

I bite my bottom lip and start to speak,"He is actually a douchebag."

He laughs a little and say,"I am serious."

"No you are not. You are Alex. And if you really wanna know why don't you see him yourself."

Alex and I are standing outside Kash's room which is besides Noah's room. Alex looks at me and motions his eyes towards the room. I nod my head and whisper,"On three... One, two...and-"

Alex excitedly jumps and slightly opens the gate, cutting me off. Peeping through the gap between the door and the wall, I nudge him in the shoulder and point my finger at now-half-naked-Kash unpacking his bags. Yes you read it just right. He is only in his shorts. His back is turned towards us and so, he is not able to see two Peeping Toms standing at his half-open door. I admire his perfectly toned body and his muscles. For a second I feel an urge to touch him but I quickly shove the thought out of my head. Without looking at Alex, I could tell that he is also glaring at Kash with wide eyes and smirk plastered on his face. Suddenly he turns around, and Alex's and mine reflexes take actions for the situation and we make a run to my room without once glancing behind. I think Kash would have seen us stalking him but I am not sure though.

"He is so hot!" Alex says as when we enter my room. I couldn't agree more...
