Mommy Chato doesn't scrimp when it comes to the premiere for her movies.

Agent Alice was no exception.

It was her idea to make this a black tie event.

"This movie is glossy, sophisticated and sexy as hell." She blurted when she saw the poster.

Eugenie as Agent Alice was clad in an all red outfit—the suit, the pants and even the killer high heels.

Her face was turned to the right (red lipstick no less), hair in a ponytail and in her hand, she was holding not a handgun but a grenade.

The photograph was set against a black background making the red stand out even more.

Below her were the movie title in Black Superclarendon 90-point font and this tagline: She's their only hope. No one else is left.

Mommy Chato laughed so hard there were tears in her eyes when she read it.

I took it as an approval.

The IMAX Theater at MOA was sparkling not just from the dazzling lights but also from the presence of the biggest and brightest stars who were invited.

Celine Cruz came.

She was alone but looked radiant in a nude off-shoulder prom gown that prominently displayed her toned and tanned legs.

When she saw Maria and I, she kissed us on the cheek.

I asked how she was doing and she told me she's never felt so much better.

I think she was telling the truth.

She was also seeing Dr. Santos.

Mommy Chato was elegant as ever.

Dressed in a classic black gown with a white belt, she projected timelessness and strength.

Of all the people in the premiere, she was the happiest.

A week before the event, she called me to her office.

I haven't even had the chance to sit down when she hugged me tight.

She called me a lifesaver.

"Our partners were calling to congratulate me." She pressed my cheek lightly.

"We have a blockbuster in our hands because of this movie."

I postponed whatever I had to say.

Mommy Chato deserved to relish the joy a little longer.

Sole was there with her crew to cover the event.

She wore a brown cocktail dress embroidered with yellow, orange and black butterflies.

If I didn't know anything, I wouldn't suspect that she was broken hearted.

Neri, my ever supportive best friend, was there too.

No one was more excited to see the premiere than her.

She's always like this everytime I have a movie.

For the occasion, she wore a blue off-shoulder swirling chiffon that complimented her porcelain skin.

When I asked why she was glowing, she whispered that the project we were originally working on was finally given the green light.

No wonder the smile didn't leave her face the whole night.

There were so many people from RGF and I knew most of them but I am focusing on the highlights.

It was no surprise that Eugenie would be there.

Stunning in a tuxedo paired with black Louboutin heels, it wasn't so much as her runway-ready look that blew everyone away (me and Maria included) but the woman in her arm.

Enchanting in a black gown with thigh high side slits, Serena effortlessly combined class and sexiness.

Their arrival cause quite a buzz not only because they both looked very attractive but also because Eugenie couldn't seem to let go of Serena's hand.

It was as if she was afraid Serena would float away from her grasp.

When Serena saw Maria, the two of them hugged and posed for the cameras, both of them beaming, the stars reflecting in the shine of their eyes.

From their short chat, Maria learned that the two met in a bar.

"It's a long story," Serena smiled then glanced at Eugenie who was talking to Celine.

"I have to tell you some other time."

We couldn't wait.

Henry was with us.

Dignified and gentlemanly in a navy suit, he told us the day before the premiere that he and Kate are dating.

"We know." Maria and I chorused.

"You know?"

"Oo naman." His sister said.

"Noong araw pa lang ng basketball game, alam na namin."

He scratched the back of his head.

"Hindi ka galit, Ate?"

"Masaya ka ba?"

He didn't need words.

The boyish grin on his face says everything.

Kate looked lovely in a lace short ball dress that was accented by a big bouquet of roses on the right shoulder.

There were many beautiful women around him but Henry only had eyes for his date.

He was so adorable that night.

Of course, the event won't be complete without Maria and I.

It took a while for us to get ready because (I should probably not say this even though this is for private viewing) but the moment she stepped out of the shower smelling like lavender, I brought her down to the bed despite her opposition that I was going to get the sheets wet.

I told her I definitely would.

The water in her hair had nothing to do with it.

We have hours to get ready and I made the most of it by lavishing her body with fevered kisses.

If it wasn't for her, I don't think I come out of this movie unscathed.

She was the light I searched for in the dark tunnel of my existence.

I showed her my appreciation in every whispered word.

Maria gasped and moaned in ways I never heard before.

The payback for the hot interlude was definitely worth the disruption of the preparation.

I came on top of her.

The shock of my orgasm and the reverberating quivers that followed after was more than I could hope for.

We were both grinning when we finally stepped out of the bedroom.

For the occasion, Maria chose a suit where the upper part of the sleeve was in baby blue and the bottom was maroon.

The shirt was white with maroon stripes and when she showed it to me, I immediately took it to the fitting room.

The suit was the perfect blend of modern and classic.

I liked it.

Paired with dark blue pants and blue suede Oxfords, I felt I was ready to take on the world.

Not to be outdone, Maria looked very sophisticated in a full-length sleeveless black gown.

To brighten up the outfit, I gave her a sapphire statement necklace.

The gleaming jewelry was shaped like teardrops and it dazzled in the brilliant lights.

She was astonished when I gave her the box.

When she opened it, she was speechless.

I felt so proud to have her in my arms.

Since I came out during the premier for Mintonette, it was easier to be myself.

There was still that nagging thought that people are going to be cruel to us.

But when I hold her hand, she never fails to give me the assurance that things are going to be okay.

During the screening, my hunch that Eugenie had a knack for comedy was proven right.

People laughed at every antic and fumble.

Oui was an oft-heard praise among the audience and when I looked at Eugenie who was seated beside Serena, I knew she was proud of what she did.

After the movie, the cast, together with Mommy Chato stood up and we got a standing ovation from the audience.

This wasn't a film festival but I appreciate that the people were very satisfied with what they saw.

I just finished signing an autograph for one of the viewers when I noticed a young girl with straight dark brown hair and the same green eyes as Eugenie.

She waited for the woman to leave before she took a step forward to talk to me.

"Le directeur," There was only one person who called me that.

What are the chances that she has the same French accent and used the moniker Eugenie gave me?

"I'm sorry? Do I know you?" I smiled at her.

"I'm Adrienne." She held out her hand and I shook it.

She seemed to be searching for the right words to say.

"Merci."

That one I understand.

"You're welcome?" I don't know what she was thanking me for.

"My sister," She pointed to Eugenie who was talking to Luli Aguilar.

"She said you gave her this opportunite."

Now I understand.

I heard footsteps behind me.

When I turned around, Eugenie was walking towards us.

"You've met my sister, le directeur." She wrapped an arm on her sister's waist.

"I did."

"You weren't joking that day."

Eugenie laughed.

"I wasn't."

She told me her sister will be staying with her for good.

"I'm happy to hear that."

I congratulated Eugenie for the success of the movie.

"It's all yours, le directeur."

I held out my hand.

"Ne sois pas idiot," She pulled me in for a tight hug.

I was caught off-guard that my body was stiff at first.

She held me so long that I finally relaxed into the embrace.

When she let me go, there were tears in her eyes.

"I'm ready for another movie with you, le directeur."

Unlike that day at the office, I didn't see any trace of sadness in her eyes.

I only nodded my answer then said goodbye to her and Adrienne.

They walked to where Serena was talking to Mommy Chato.

Just looking at them all smiling and happy gave me the sense that everything will be all right.

As expected, Agent Alice was a blockbuster hit.

The movie was trending on all the social media platforms and propelled Eugenie to newer heights.

Her face was everywhere.

Oui was the favorite catchphrase of everyone including the masa who flocked to see the movie.

I learned that Adrienne was also being signed to RGF which I think was a smart move on Mommy Chato's part.

All of these happened while Maria, Henry and I were at the airport waiting to board for our flight to Spain.

Two weeks after Agent Alice was shown in movie theaters, I dropped by at Mommy Chato's house.

She knew I had something important to tell her.

The smile on her face disappeared when she saw me.

I told her I was taking a sabbatical.

When she opened her mouth to contradict, I gave her the reasons why.

Once I was done talking, she wished me luck.

"I have asked so much from you that although I am sad to see you leave, I wish you and Maria luck on your adventures."

"Thank you, Mommy." I hugged her.

"I will be waiting for you to come back, Kyle."

When we heard the announcement to board, I took Maria's hand in mine.

"Are you ready, bae?"

"I was born ready." She smiled.

We walked towards the gate to check-in for our flight.

I looked at Maria who was smiling from ear-to-ear.

When I told her of my plan, she was shocked.

She knew I loved making movies.

It was my life and my passion.

"You are my life now, Maria. I want to make more memories with you."

She didn't know what to say to that.

It didn't take long for me to decide on what to do next after Agent Alice.

The answer was always in front of me.

I didn't need to search high and low to know that starting on this new adventure with her and Henry was what I needed in my life.

I have the travel plan for all the places we wanted to see but other than that, I plan to get lost in the wonder of it all.

With Maria beside me, it will be exciting, fun and surprising.

Something I will cherish for the rest of my days.
