(Small language warning!! But let's face it. None of you care about that. And also, a small question. Would anyone like a Hunter and Blade prequel? I know they are original characters, and Blade being the OC of my good friend, Eris345! I'm thinking of making a prequel for them! Since they don't get too many moments in this, because I don't wanna slow down the story!!! Tell me what you would think! Even though there's only one reader as of now!)

"So, I have good news." Hunter said as the president walked away from their little meeting, since they had combined technologies and now they had to form a plan. "But I also have bad news."

"How about the good news?" Macy asked.

"The army was made off me." Hunter said as he kept moving holographic screens move from place to place. "Long ago, Shard experimented on multiple Shades to give them all three battle classes. It killed all of them except for me."

"Oh...shit. Hunter, I'm sorry." Macy whispered, but was also wondering how that part was good news.

Hunter sighed. "Don't be. I wouldn't be here on Earth without it." He then shook his head and directed them to one holographic screen. "Anyway the actual good news is we found the base of operations. In Washington DC."

"That's awesome!" Nova exclaimed. "How many soldiers and commanders are there?"

"Uhhh...That's the bad news." He then enlarged the hologram and showed The WHOLE Empire. Warships, armies, and every single Shade in existence. All of them were there and were upgraded into Diamond Shades. "All of them are here. They haven't found us yet, but if we don't act now, it's only a matter of time before they do. And the bigger bad news is...The High Council's been murdered."

"I thought that would be a good thing...?" Nova asked. "From what I've heard, they're the whole reason for this invasion and The Shade entirely."

"Them being dead and murdered isn't what's bad. WHO replaced them is what's bad." He growled as he showed a hologram of Commander Shard. "He and a Red Slasher named Kreji took over the Empire, with Kreji as Shard's second in command. Shard's the emperor now and personally killed The High Council..."

Macy gulped, looking at the hologram with something pounding in her heart. It wasn't fear, but it was anxiety and worry. She had never fought the guy directly, but she had seen what he could do. Talon's feral mode barely touched him and that was saying something.

"And what's even worse? Shard's working on a new upgrade for himself and Kreji. An upgrade that gives them all three original upgrades. Part Stinger, part Shocker, part Crusher. All combined into one." Hunter said before growling. "The bastard's a goddamn genius, as much I hate to admit it."

Nova then grabbed her helmet and put it on. "Then we should launch a final assault. Shard hasn't completed the new upgrade yet, right?"

"Right." Hunter said with a nod.

"Then we should attack before he can." Nova said. "It's clear that we can take out a hundred of the new Diamond Shades on our own, and there was only five of us back then."

"Nearly every military in the world, we could take out the whole army!" Macy exclaimed. "The whole empire even!"

"And if we kill Shard and Kreji, there's no one left to command them." Hunter grinned. "I love the way you two think. Us five can probably fight Shard and Kreji, killing them while the humans destroy the army." He then brought up a final holographic screen. "The army is just like me. I may have been a prototype, but they're only different in the mind. My weaknesses-"

"It drains the physical body's energy levels." Macy said. "And if using all the powers at once, which they will most certainly do if desperate to win, for over an hour or so, will overload the body and cause it to explode."

Hunter blinked through his helmet. "Wow...That's...actually right."

"And maybe kick them in the tail or so, and they'll go down. And we know sound is one of their weaknesses." Nova said.

"I'll go tell the lady of the White House-" Macy then heard a loud roar from...Talon? She turned around and saw Blade trying to hold him back.

Talon roared at Hunter. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!! I'M GONNA FUCKING TEAR YOU LIMB FROM LIMB!!!!!!"

Hunter sighed. "Of course it came up into conversation...Babe, why didn't you wait?"

"I didn't know what else to say!!! He brought it up!!!" Blade exclaimed, still struggling to hold her brother back. "Talon, please calm down!!!"

"NOT UNTIL I STAB HIM!!!!!"

"I don't try to kill YOUR girlfriend!!"

"THAT'S BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ONE!!!!! AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT GIRLFRIEND MEANS!!!!!"

Macy sighed and then grabbed Dean. "Anyway you can calm him down?"

"I've been narrating this whole time, but no...well. I might have one way." Dean said before whispering his brilliant plan. The fox went red for a minute before taking a small deep breath. "Talon."

"WHAT-"

That's when Macy kissed his cheek, and Talon's purple eyes disappeared. "Calm down please~"

"...Y-Yeah...s-sure." Talon said with a dopey smile. "What was I doing again...?"

Blade dropped him with a small growl, but Talon didn't seem to care. "You make it so hard to love you sometimes..."

Needless to say, the armies of Earth began to unite finally. And planes, cars, and various other vehicles began to fly to Washington DC, with Hunter and his ship leading the way. And eventually, in an hour, they arrived.

Talon looked out the window, narrowing his eyes as he looked at the literal millions of Shade. "I've never seen so many in one place. And on one planet."

"This planet must be harder to invade than he thought." Nova said as she got her weapons and her jetpack ready. "Alright everyone. Remember the plan. We go in, kill Shard and Kreji, while the army destroys/holds off The Shade."

Blade took out her stingers. "Kreji's gonna wish he wasn't ever made once I'm done. And Shard's gonna regret taking his first breath."

"Awwww, an anniversary gift already." Hunter laughed before beginning to fly slightly lower. "Alright guys. Prepare yourselves. I can see the militaries all beginning to fight. You just got to crash into the base. And be careful. Please."

They all nodded before Talon looked at Macy. This might be their last fight. There was no absolute certainty that they would make it out alive...this could've been the last time. So many times they talked and Macy flirted with him...it had an affect on him alright. He felt his heart pounding a little bit before he took a deep breath and walked over. "Macy, I have something to tell you."

"Huh? What is it? More exposition?" Macy asked, tilting her head.

"No, no, no." Talon said with a shake of his head. "I...I wanted to tell you that this might be the last day we ever fight together. There's a chance we could actually lose this whole thing. And if today's our last day together, I want you to know that you and Nova mean so much to me. You're like the new members of my family. I wouldn't have become the person I am now without crashing onto Earth and defending it with you all...especially you, Macy."

Macy blushed, as if trying to figure out what this speech was for, while Blade and Nova were watching with anticipation. Even the great Dean was watching with actual emotion and eagerness. It had been so obvious!

"You're a kind, funny, smart, and above all creative person. Whether you're a fluffy looking fox or a human being. I...I guess what I'm t-trying t-to say i-is...I love-"

"Okay! NOW!" Hunter said as he slammed his fist against the eject button, and the crew went flying out of the ship and into the end of the world.
