Talon finally couldn't take it and roared, lunging himself at his commander and unleashing his blades. And without thinking, he plunged the purple blades into her chest.

The commander gaped for air as she stopped shocking Kagin and then fell to her knees.

Talon felt like he was going feral and screamed with rage as he started to stab the commander over and over and over and over again until his blades and arms were covered in her cyan blood. The Shade often bled the color of their body, but that didn't make it any less brutal when they died.

The commander's chest was eventually just a giant hole and Talon put away his blades, not even caring or realizing what he had just done. He then rushed over to Kagin and cradled his body. "Kagin!!! Are you ok?!"

"I...I don't t-think s-so..." Kagin coughed. "I-I'll get better...w-we gotta go. NOW!"

"And leave the-" Talon then looked at the body of the commander and heard the alarm being sounded. Seems like the A.I. of the ship knew she was now dead. What point was there in staying? He looked at his friend and nodded. "You're right. Let's go. There should be a spare ship somewhere."

After helping Kagin to his feet and placing his arm around his shoulder, he began to speed walk, looking around desperately for a ship before finding the closed door of the hangar. He smirked and started to rush over before hearing the exit of the ship open, with Shade Warriors entering.

"There's the traitor!!!" A blue Smasher cried as they activated their shields, covering both of their arms in some kind of blocky substance of their color.

"SHIT." Talon cried before opening the hangar door and just as the Smasher charged, he shut the door on them, hearing the banging of the door seconds later.

Talon then looked around and tried to find a ship that would fit two people before finding one and laughing. "Okay! We can get out of here!"

Kagin smiled a bit before looking at Talon. "See? Power isn't everything."

"I guess you were right, buddy." Talon said before rushing into the ship, but then seeing the door come flying and he gasped before seeing hundreds of Shade come inside. Talon growled and rested Kagin on the door of the ship before charging into battle.

Talon unleashed his blades and then began to swing them around his own brothers and sisters (kinda). He fought other Slashers, their blades clashing with his own. He found himself slashing at the protective guards the Smashers had. And especially dodging the colorful beams of the Shooters.

Kagin watched the fight before using all of his might to get into the ship and activate it. Once it was turned on, he set a course for a random planet, one that was light years away. He then stepped out of the ship and knew he had to protect Talon. He then fired his yellow beams at incoming Shade, blasting them to the wall. "TALON! COME ON!!"

Talon nodded and started running towards the ship before a Shade grabbed his tail and lifted him into the air and smashed him into the ground. Talon groaned. "Y-You would be vomiting if you knew where that's b-been..."

"First of all, gross. And second of all, no one betrays The Shade!!!" The red Smasher cried as they activated their guards, but was suddenly blasted by Kagin, who then kicked the giant brute in the jaw.

"TALON!!! RUN!!! I'LL MEET YOU IN THE SHIP!!!" Kagin cried.

Talon nodded and quickly got inside the ship, leaving the door open as he prepared to crash through the exit of the hangar to escape.

Kagin eventually stepped onto the platform of the ship to get inside before seeing a Slasher run over. He blasted at them, but his beams were deflected by the blades and he was STABBED in the gut.

"KAGIN!!!!!" Talon cried as he was about to run over, but then the ship's door closed, showing it was going to take off. "NO, NO, NO!!! OPEN YOU STUPID THING!!!!!"

The purple Slasher then unleashed his blades and tried to cut through the door, but the metal was too strong and would take too much time to cut through. But that didn't stop him from trying.

He looked through the window and saw Kagin blasting away the Slasher before looking at him. He gently smiled and gave a little wave.

"NO!!!! I'M NOT LEAVING YOU BEHIND!!!!" Talon screamed before the ship's thrusters began to fire up. Talon banged on the window and door, but that's when it was too late and the ship took off and rammed through the exit and into the deep dark depths of space.

Kagin smiled a little as he watched his friend speed off. "Godspeed, Talon...Be safe, my friend..."

He then watched other Shade come through and one of the red Slashers growled. "YOU ARE AS MUCH OF A TRAITOR AS HE IS!!!"

"Maybe if you weren't so worth betraying, n-none of this would've happened..."

The red Slasher roared before showing one of their blades and stabbing Kagin through the heart, instantly killing him as his yellow blood soaked into the blade.

"AFTER THE TRAITOR BEFORE HE GETS TOO FAR!!!" One of the Shade screamed as they all got into ships and fired away after him. The red Slasher ripped the blade out of Kagin's corpse and then got into their own ship, speeding off.

Talon began to sob as he continued to bang on the door, his purple tears streaming down his cheeks. "N-No...! K-Kagin....N-NO!!!" He sobbed as he began banging his own head against the door before the alarm of the ship began to sound.

He slowly stood as he kept crying, but then hugged himself. "I'll never kill again, buddy. J-Just like you wanted! N-NEVER AGAIN! I...I promise." He whispered as he went to the cockpit and put the ship out of auto pilot to see what the trouble was. His eyes then widened as he saw he was being followed by the other Shade. He growled and activated lightspeed, zooming off.

But the Shade were as determined as he was and zoomed off after him, beginning a high speed chase through the galaxy.

Talon somehow made the ship go faster as he tried to follow the course that Kagin set for him. A planet where the Shade would never find him. He briefly heard the shot of lasers, but it quickly disappeared. He was going too fast for the Shade to hit him.

Over an hour later, Talon finally slowed the ship down as he began to see almost a line of planets and a sun nearby. It was almost a beautiful sight, seeing so many planets in order. But it was not a new sight. There was more than one Solar System.

Talon sighed, taking a deep breath as he began speeding up again and zoomed over to one of the planets. A green and blue one. But as he began zooming over and down onto the planet, he noticed his ship beginning to shake a little. Looks like the atmosphere was stronger than most.

He growled and kept zooming in before he eventually got past fluffy white clouds and then into some kind of green field with trees and giant buildings. He was about to let out a 'whoa' before the ship's alarm began blaring.

"NO TIME FOR WHOA'S." Talon cried as he crashed through the window of the ship and spun his floating arms around like helicopter blades to keep him in the air as the ship crashed into the ground of the planet, forming a crater.

Talon then slowly flew down before landing and looking around. "What is this place...?"
