I don't even know what to write right now, but my hands are shaking! 😱 I saw this beautiful dress at the shop while I was out with my dad, and I just couldn't take my eyes off it! 💖 But guess what? The absolute worst part was when a girl snatched it away and gave it to a lady! I was like, "Hey girl, that's MINE! Put that back before I kick your ass!" 😡 I know I couldn't actually say that to her, but I was furious! So, we kept walking, crossing the road, and my dad 

was silent. I glanced over at him, and he smiled—though he wasn't really looking at me.

Then, finally, he spoke...

"My daughter," he began, "I imagined you walking towards me in a pilot suit, asking me to get in the plane with you! You took off into the sky, and it was so blue and beautiful!" 🌤️ He looked into my eyes, and I could feel a smile spreading across my face. His words motivated me, and in my head, I promised myself that I would read more when we got home.

As we kept walking, we unexpectedly entered a café. I was totally surprised because I never guessed we'd stop there! I mean, my dad had said...

**IN THE PAST**

I was sitting around when my dad called out my name, "Edl!"

"Yes, Dad," I yelled back.

"Change your clothes! We're going for a walk! Tell your sister, too!" he said, raising his voice a little.

"Okay..." I replied, jumping up from my seat and running to my sister's bedroom. I told her to get ready because we were going out. She agreed, and I dashed to my room to change. When I was done, I called out to Dad, who waited as my sister joined us. Finally, we stepped out of the house and started our walk.

When we reached the café, I was completely caught off guard. I sat down, trying to process this unexpected treat.

"Order whatever you want!" Dad said with a big smile. 🍦

We decided on ice cream, and my dad went off to chat with another man at the café. My sister and I happily enjoyed our tasty treats, giggling and making up stories. Suddenly, Dad came back and introduced the man to us. I shook his hand, feeling slightly shy but intrigued. After a little while, the man said goodbye, and although he offered us a ride, we politely declined. Watching him walk away, I realized how nice it was to step out of our routine. After that, we strolled home, full of sugar and laughter.
