~| Party Affair with my best friend? |~ // Drent
||Joke me something awful just like kisses on the necks of 'best friends'||
The room is loud and smells faintly of alcohol. My friend Tom is throwing a party tonight and me and my best friend Drew decided we might as well go. Most of the time me and him usually just like to stay to ourselves and watch a movie or something, but tonight we decided to be daring and try something new.
The two of us are only in our sophomore year of high school and neither of us have ever been to a real party. Kind of sad, but were two nerds what does society expect from us?
I have heard rumours being spread about me and Drew dating. I mean we may act like boyfriends, like we do share subtle kisses on the cheek and even a few on the lips but it's all fun and games. It's completely innocent. Also that side of our friendship is not on display for the public eye.
It seems that with every step I take my heart beats faster and faster. Drew is standing close beside me, which calms me down a little bit. There's just something about this atmosphere that makes me sick to my stomach, or maybe that's the strong smell of tobacco in the air. I'm not surprised that the smell is so strong, almost everybody in our high school is here.
Tom is probably smoking as well as drinking. He was known to be the annoying badass of the school before he was expelled for bullying and harassment. He even threatened a boy's life after he found out that he was gay. And that is why I'm still in the closet, along with the fact that I wouldn't want to drive Drew away.
I can hear screaming coming from all directions, Toms scream being the loudest. "OKAY FOLKF LISTEN THE FUCK UP." Tom slurs followed by a hiccup. After the crowd of people settled down and all that could be heard was the obnoxious, loud breathing coming from every drunk in the room Tom started to speak at a reasonable volume.
"Okay so anybody who is done smoking and shit can come upstairs. I want at least one room that doesn't smell like my grandpas ballsack." Every sober person in the room made a face of disgust but followed Tom up the stairs anyways.
Drew looked down at me and smiled. "I guess we're not smoking and shit." I laughed
~~~
It's been almost thirty minutes that we've been up here playing party games and dancing, and I'm almost 100% sure that I'm the only person at this party who is completely sober. I have denied every drink that I was offered, but Drew on the other hand, is sober as my dad was the night before he left.
"M'kay everyone lets play spin the fuckin' bottle." Tom slurs.
"We're not little fucking girls!" Somebody screams, i don't recognize the voice.
"I'm a little girl." Somebody else mumbles.
Tom goes downstairs to get a bottle and returns without being run over by the hundreds of people down there. It's a good thing he has such a big house. His family is out of town so he will have one hell of a mess to clean up tomorrow.
"Okay ev'ry body get in a circle." Tom says.
We all do as were told and form a circle around the ketchup bottle. I'm not even sure why we used a ketchup bottle when there are dozens of empty beer bottles lying around? But hey, Tom is an idiot.
Drew basically sits on me while we watch people play. Most of the parings have been straight except for these two girls who ended up in a complete make out session. That's one way to come out.
Finally it's my turn to spin the bottle. There's only one person that I want it to end up on.
In the end I got who I wanted. Drew. This is the perfect situation. He won't remember anything in the morning and even if he does we can just blame it on the alcohol.
"C'mere," he stumbles over his words as he brings me onto his lap. All of a sudden my breathing gets really sharp. He doesn't do what I expected him to. Drew starts by kissing my neck and slowly making his way to my face. After a few seconds of hesitation I can't take the tension anymore. I kiss his lips... Oh my god I'm kissing Drew oh my god oh my god oh my- everything in my mind went silent when he kissed back. I felt nothing but pure happiness and excitement. The thought of any consequences are gone and all I can think of is how I never want this moment to end.
There you go holy fuck I can't write but that's okay I'm on an iPad so deal with it. -Angela
