Kent's P.O.V

"One date, that's all I'm begging for!" I shook my head in response, turning my chair back to my computer.

"Come on! He's really nice! I met him last year." She continued to argue, for an hour straight!

"Avianna I said no, please stop pleading." I beg, rolling my eyes.

"Not until you give him a chance!" I sigh and turn my chair back to face her.

"Fine." I huffed, glaring at her.
There's something she doesn't know or need to know right now. I've been in a relationship, for almost a month now. I'll just tell the poor guy that we are just doing this as friends since I have a partner. It'll work out, she'll finally get off my nerves.

"Yes! I'll go call him right now!" Avianna screeches, running to the main room.

-

It was cold, and brisky. This weather was quite enjoyable, depending on the person. Clouds overtook the sky, making it hard to see and resulting in my eyes squinting slightly.

My light black jacket was wrapped securely around my torso, unzipped exposing my black and white hooded sweater. I really didn't want to go all fancy but Avianna at least made me wear a pair of 'nice' pants, aka a pair of plain black jeans.

I arrived at the small cafe and glanced around to see anyone who looked like the boy I was suppose to meet. My eyes wandered around the cafe until I spotted someone familiar in the corner of the room, sat on their phone.

Slowly I walked over to the table and stared at the boy, I really don't know why he's here. I stood in front of the table and cleared my throat.
He glanced up at me and his eyes widened, "Kent what are you doing here?" He asked, shocked.

"Uh, I kinda live in this town." I responded, looking around the unfamiliar cafe. "I should be asking you what you're doing here." My eyes found their way back to his blue ones.

"Oh I'm moving here, and my annoying friend forced me on a date with a stranger I don't know, but she doesn't know I'm with you so...." His voice trailed, as did his eyes.

"Wow." I breathed, he looked back at me confused. I decided to sit down and get comfortable since I knew what was happening here. "Did the girls name happen to be Calysta?" The male nodded casually.

"Well then looks like your date is here."

"What? Where, I don't want them to be here." He pouted, scanning around the room.

"No silly, it's me. My friend did the same thing." His mouth formed an 'o' shape.

"Oh."

"Yeah oh. So what do we do?" I asked.

"We can ditch this place and do something fun." He smirked, outstretching his hand motioning me to take it.

"Oh god Drew, what are you going to get us into now?" I puffed out my cheeks and grabbed his hand reluctantly. Drew chuckled lightly and pulled them out of the cafe and out onto the busy sidewalks.

Third Person

The bridge was large, and had an amazingly breath taking view of the lake and city. It was unlike any other sight Kent had experienced.
"T-This is.... wow." He spoke, looking around carefully.

"It's quite pretty isn't it." The older said, keeping his full attention on the boy beside him. Kent never failed to take Drew's breath away. Drew thought to be the luckiest male alive, having a boyfriend like him.

"There's an ice cream stand!" Kent exclaimed, eyes widening. Drew laughed under his breath at the sudden childness.

"Want some?" Drew asked, smirking once again.

"I-I mean s-sure?" Kent replied flustered. The taller leaned over and kissed his cheek slightly before pulling them off once again.

-

"Grab the ice cream." Kent stated, pulling at Drew's arm. "I can't do it cause our hands are together." Drew nodded and took the ice cream cone in his free hand.

They sat down on a bench near the beach and ate their ice cream contently. Drew couldn't keep his eyes off Kent, just the simplest things made Drew like him even more.

They've never confessed their love, nor have they shared a real kiss either. It's only been a month, but Drew really wants to be able to show affection towards Kent, then again he can wait.

-

Kent tugged at their intertwined hands and motioned him into his apartment, "You can stay for a little right?" He questioned.

"Yeah sure." Drew shrugged releasing their hands and placing his jacket on a hook.

They plopped down on the couch and sat closely, watching something random that was playing on the television. Drew didn't realize he was staring till Kent hit his arm playfully.
"Stop staring at me."

"How can I? You're beautiful." Drew stated, smirking lightly.

"S-Stop." Kent muffled hiding his head in the older's neck.

"You stop! You're to cute." Drew responded, lifting his head with his finger. They were looking into eachothers eyes, brown met blue.

Kent instantly closed the space between them, capturing their lips in a soft kiss. It didn't seem to stay soft for very long, it turned passionate rather fast. The taller's arms wrapped around his waist as the smallest placed lazily on his neck.

Kent was pushed down on the couch and Drew was hovering over him slightly, their lips still connected. It was a longful and loving kiss for them both.

-

After the little make out session of theirs, they returned back to the television. "I'm making popcorn butter or no?" Kent asked idly, walking over to the kitchen.

"Butter..?" Drew replied uneasily.

"You like butter on your popcorn?" Kent inquired, surprised at the answer.

"Uh, yeah?"

"That's weird."

"How's it weird??"

"I don't know, I just don't know anybody who likes butter on popcorn."

"What the hell? You've never met anyone?"

"No."

"Have you been living under a rock?"

"Um no, I actually have been living here."

"Well I'm not weird, you just asked me a question."

"Yeah a dumb one." Kent muttered.

"Is it bad I like butter on my popcorn?" Drew challenged, walking into the kitchen.

"Kinda." He shrugged.

"How?"

"I don't know, it's just kinda weird." Kent argued.

"You're the weird one, not me." Drew defended.

"I'm not weird!" He yelled back.

"Who doesn't like butter on their popcorn!?" Drew yelled back.

"Me! And a lot of other people! Don't go judging me now!"

"I'm not the one who started judging!"

"I-I"

"'I-I' what?" Drew mocked.

"I love you.." Kent mumbled, Drew's eyes widened.

"What?" He asked shocked.

"I-I love you."

"Oh, uh I love you too." Drew responded, walking closer to the younger. He wrapped his arms around the smaller boy and engaged him in a hug. "What were we fighting about again?" Drew asked.

"Butter, sorry about that I was just stressed about saying... you know." Kent's voice was muffled as his head was buried in Drew's chest.

"Awe pumpkin, you're too adorable." Drew gushed unlacing their hug and grabbing Kent's shoulders, capturing his lips in another kiss, this time Kent smiled and cupped the older's face lightly. He stood on his toes, making them close to eye level.

They both couldn't believe they got set on a blind date, not realizing that they were already dating, and ended up fighting about butter. But it all ended in three words that meant the world to both of them.

"I love you." Kent said once they pulled away.

"I love you more." Drew replied, kissing his lips once more.
