Walking down the mountain with the artifacts in her pockets, Princess Riley and Gooey became good friends. Even though he doesn't talk much she really got to know him much better. While they were walking towards Grizty Dessert to get her next memory she saw something out of the corner of her eye.

"Gooey go ahead without me I'll meet you at the dessert."

Gooey hoped away before she went to see what she saw out of the corner of her eye. She found this yellow thing in the bush of the forest. In the bush she pushed the leaves out of the way to find a star flowing in the leaves. "Huh? What is a fallen star doing in this bush?" She thought. She grabbed the star before running to catch up with her friend Gooey.

"Princess!"

"GAH! What is it Galaxia?"

"I didn't mean to startle you but you might wanna use the star in the air."

She did as she was told and the star turned into a chessboard.

"Woah!! I knew Nightmare had a chessboard to try and kill me so I guess the tables have turn this time on me."

"Be careful while you use it."

"I'm always being careful. Now there are chess pieces that represent me and my friends and the others are the demon beasts and there is Nightmare."

As she move the first chess piece towards one of the demon beasts she spoke to the orb that held a picture of the demon himself.

"You may have killed Princess Peach but I have taken her place. I will kill you even if it takes me time. You will regret this Nightmare."

She deformed the chessboard back into a star and attached it to her scarf. Now she felt like a true star warrior. She makes haste towards Grizty Dessert to meet Gooey there.

Meanwhile two siblings walked around Dimble Woods hoping to find the princess.

"She isn't here. Looks like she left before we even arrived," Mario said to his younger brother.

"She must be in Holly Jolly Village that's the next place she could have gone."

"Your right we must go to Holly Jolly Village maybe the villagers knows where Riley is at."

Little did the boys know she was at her next destination to restore her past memory.

"She defeated Galactic Knight? How could that be!?! That knight is always getting in my way?!?!" Nightmare slammed on the chess table in pure anger for Riley. "I have killed off her ruler but she isn't given up?!?" He was in rage against the young knight even though she was still a child. He brings up a picture of the knight. "Your adventure is about to come to a close you pest!!! You may have killed Bowser but you are just getting started."

Even though she was born a princess Riley knew that her past needs to be recovered in order to defeat Nightmare once and for all for her old ruler. She meet her blue friend at the dessert and already he had the artifact in his tongue once again. She took the artifact and it transports her to her memory.

She was in Meta Knight's ship the Halbed. She was in a room with only a single crib. Suddenly Meta Knight walked into the room. He picked up the baby which was Riley as the baby.

"Hello baby Riley are you feeling well?"

Baby Riley nodded.

"Listen kiddo I need to tell you something. You are now a star warrior. When you grow up you will be able to fight but for now you are my daughter."

As she faded back into reality she couldn't believe what she just saw in her past memory. So she was born a princess and a star warrior? That doesn't make any sense at all to the young princess knight. She turned to Gooey for a second before he told her the next artifact is at the Toad Town sewers. She was wasting time, Gooey and her headed straight for the sewers. As they run her star buzzed as she ran before the stop and she transforms it into her chessboard.

"Well played Nightmare. But this will happen."

She moved the piece before turning it back into the star. Now she needs her memories and fast.
