Letting yourself out, you now decide to head towards the scene of the crime.  There might be something there the police overlooked.  Upon reaching the hallway you notice it opens up to a large arrangement of filing cabinets.  To the left, doors lead to the offices.  This was the
Archive, the collection of public information in this city.  Something happened here last night, and it is up to you to find it.

You decide to check the offices first.  Upon trying the knob, you note that all the doors are locked shut.  Just as Joe said, no more locks where broken.  It would seem nice to note this small detail.

This now takes you to the filing cabinets themselves.  None actually seem to be closed.  They are all open, and a bit messy, but you should be able to find anything just by checking for letter.  Perhaps you could investigate a few individual files.  Three should be nice.  People, Buildings, and Organizations should have records.
