Loki woke to a loud thud or thump or crash from the lab, he didn't know exactly what it was, only that it woke him up and he was not pleased. The God jumped out of his bed and stormed out of his chambers. As he burst through the doors of the lab, he remembered the voice that haunted his dreams that night.

I know where your demons hide...

"What is that supposed to mean..?" Loki grumbled.

Everything that was on the table where the Tesseract was gone, or possibly on the floor- including the tesseract. Upon moving further into the lab, he noticed that all the items from the table were in fact on the floor, but the Tesseract was still nowhere to be found. Suddenly, there was a soft groan from somewhere in the lab. 

It's probably one of the damned S.H.I.E.L.D scientists and they started to get a little out of control... dammit...

Loki thought and rounded the corner of a desk, growling almost. However, instead of finding one of the scientists, or the Avenger with the arrows, there was a.... woman..? Draped across what was most likely her naked body was a blue fabric, the same color blue as the Tesseract and the object was still to be found. 

The woman moved again, ever so slightly and some of the fabric slipped, exposing more of her legs. If she moved any further, she would end up being absolutely naked. Loki looked over her face, she was no one he had ever seen before, not even the slightest bit familiar. Her features were stunning, they glowed like a goddess's and her figure shocked him even more.

How is it possible for anyone to be that slim...?

Loki wondered and circled her a few times, before crouching down by her head. The woman groaned once more and she began to sit up, the fabric slipping from her body, revealing the rest of her naked figure. A smirk danced across Loki's lips as he studied the female's body and she quickly pulled the blue fabric around her body, a blush spreading across her cheeks. She looked around the lab and looked back at Loki, her eyes wild. Suddenly, she scrambled backward, as if she only just figured out who she sitting in front of and she mumbled four words.

"Y-yo-you must b-be... Loki..."

Loki's eyes widened with surprise, but not because she recognized him, it was her voice.

It was the same voice from his dreams that night before.

It was that same voice he heard every time he came in contact with the Tesseract.
