Chapter Twenty-Nine - Decepticon Days

Can we make amends, do we just pretend

That we're over all the violence

Are we done with this? Put it all to rest

Turn the screams now into silence

Will you be a man? Can you make a stand?

Will you own up or deny it all?

All the time we lost, was it worth the cost

Of breaking a family in two?

Destroyed all we knew

A tyrant, so defiant

Lonely as your heart is sinking

Consequences, no defenses

If only you had been thinking

Compliant, for a moment

Why did both of us have to believe that we were right?

Tyrant!

Tyrant - Disturbed

Jason was wandering through the halls of the Nemesis when he heard music echoing from Sierra's room. It was nothing new, except this time he could understand what was being sung. And it was clearly a love song.

"Oh dear, I suppose I had best check up on the princess. Hadn't I?" He walked up to the door to see her pacing on the giant bed. She growled and kicked the mod she had been working on. Jason caught it and appeared on the bed. "Sierra?"

"Jason!" She turned, her sword drawn in her surprise. She resheathed it and growled, falling back on the bed.

"I never pegged you for the type who'd listen to a love song." She growled again.

"Normally I'm not. But this damned feeling just won't go away!" She pouted, folding herself into the giant blanket. He could barely see the glow from her silver eyes as she groaned. "I don't know what to do."

"What are you talking about?"

"You're in love! Tell me what the fragging pit I'm supposed to do!" She leaped out from the blanket and stood in front of him. "Please? I helped you prank Knockout."

"Who is it?" She bit her lip.

"Never you mind that, just help me!" He chuckled.

"Let's see. Who do you bother? Knockout?"

"Ew, no!" She grimaced.

"Breakdown?"

"Nope."

"Sounds."

"Not saying."

"It is! It's Soundwave!" She blushed and growled at him.

"Never mind. I'll figure it out myself."

"No, no." He sighed, glancing away. "I should help her."

"Yeah, he should." She spoke in the same direction as him. He shook his head.

"Alright. Here's what you need to do."

-

Soundwave leaned against the control panel, his helm in his servos. That was how Jason found him a few minutes later, strolling in with a smirk. "Got a certain femme on your mind Sounders?"

"Jason: Incorrect." He turned back to the screens and Jason chuckled.

"You're thinking about Sierra." He teased.

"Jason: Incorrect." He repeated.

"You're right. Besides, why would a bot like you go for an insane little brat like that?" He slammed a fist onto the keyboard.

"Sierra: Perfect." He growled, the monotone cracking. "Soundwave: Vying for something he cannot have." The last part was a whisper.

"Come on Sounds. Who knows? She might like you."

"Doubtful." He muttered.

"How about I help you?" He glanced to him. "And in return you help me find the Autobot base."

"Soundwave: Agrees."

-

Megatron leaned back in his throne, Lilith on his shoulder and Sierra fast asleep in his servo. Ahead of him, cowering in silence, was their captive, Director Theodore Galloway. "Wh-what do you want with me?"

"You know the Autobots, and likely, many of their secrets." Galloway gulped and backed up as Sierra woke up and yawned.

"Oh! He woke up!" The woman who stared at him now was completely different from the assistant that had been hired a week earlier. She stood and leapt down. "Nice to see you again Galloway."

"Tia, why?" She laughed.

"My name isn't Tia. It's Sierra."

"Fine. Sierra. Why?"

"Silly human. I said my opi wanted to see you." He remained confused until she turned, looking up at Megatron. "Right opi?" Galloway paled.

"Y-y-y-your dad is Megatron?!" She smiled.

"Yep!"

"And your m-mom?" The room suddenly turned dark as Sierra growled. Vehicons, both demonic and unpossessed alike tore out of the room. Seconds later she exploded.

"Don't you dare bring that bitch up! She abandoned me, hardly even bothering to seek my opiluk out!" Tears streaked down her face. "That mental whore should be six feet under where she belongs!"

"Sierra." Megatron tried calming her down. She ignored him and snarled, her sword held in her hand.

"She left a sparkling to die!"

"Sierra!" She turned, sinking underneath the gaze of Jason as he entered. "My apologies Galloway, and a most unpleasant sight you bring." He chuckled before reaching out.

"You!" He snapped as Jason smirked.

"He remembers me." The demon king turned to Sierra and held out a hand. She winced but complied none-the-less. "It's alright youngling. Now, didn't you hear your father?" She shook her head.

"Sierra." She turned to the warlord. "Are you alright?"

"Yes opi. I am sorry that I could not hear you." He merely nodded and looked to a couple of vehicons who had returned to the room.

"You there, take our... Guest, to his new quarters in the brig." They both saluted.

"Yes, Lord Megatron." They chorused before one of them grabbed Galloway, both turning and leaving.

Meanwhile, the man was to focused on what he had seen that the others had not. As Sierra lost her temper, her eyes changed color. The irises were a ruby red but the rest. Now that was what frightened him.

The rest of her eyes had turned pitch black.

-

Sierra paced the halls, clawing at the back of her head. "No, no, no, no!" She growled. "I said I wouldn't let her get to me!" As she walked she didn't notice the other human standing in the hall, amusement plain on her features.

"Oh dear, it appears that the precious little pit-spawn of that glitch has finally gone off the deep end." She jumped, pulling the sword from her back as she glared at Nexus.

"What do you want Nexus?!"

"My, my. Such beautiful anger. I can't wait until it drives you to jump from the ship."

"Not gonna happen!" She snapped.

"In fact, it is you who should have taken my advice and thrown yourself off the flight deck." Sierra was relieved to hear Jason's voice. She resheathed her sword and went to stand behind the man who had become a big brother to her.

"Why would I do that? Especially when it is so much fun annoying you."

"It'd be twice as annoying to hear you scream in fear as you fell to the ground."

"No, I'd rather see you suffer day in and day out for every day that you cannot kill me." At this a smirk crossed his features.

"You think I fear Shockwave, and for that you are mistaken. I don't fear you or your one-eyed mate. You are merely an annoying gnat that I cannot wait to see perish. And when that day comes, and you die from whatever cause, be it natural or intentional, there is a special place reserved in hell for you. It will be so satisfying to torture you and cause you endless pain for all eternity." He grinned as she frowned, her arms crossed. "And you will go there. You'll not go to 'heaven' nor the Well of Allsparks. You'll be with me in hell where you'll be begging for death, pleading for forgiveness. But no one will ever hear your cries. I will cut into you slowly, making sure you feel the pain you caused your daughter in her childhood. No, I'll make you feel that pain tenfold. No matter what, you will never escape me, Nexus." She shot him a glare, her top lip curling to show off her ever so perfect teeth.

"You'll have a few hundred years to wait before that. And by then, someone will have figured out how to get rid of you." He chuckled darkly, Sierra shifting slightly behind him.

"There is no way for you to kill me, mortal. The only way I can be killed can only be wielded by a royal and you are not that. There is no way that you will ever be rid of me, you spineless bitch." He paused for a moment as she tried to argue. "I see the fear in your eyes each time I enter the same room as you. You flinch because it scares you that I am not afraid of you. It makes you wonder what I've seen. What I've done. I do not care who you are or what you've done. And that terrifies you, doesn't it?" She gulped and her eyes widened for a moment before she composed herself. She went to retaliate when the sound of footsteps met her ears.

"Ah, so the mad scientist finally leaves his lab." Shockwave looked down at Jason while simultaneously picking up Nexus.

"I am not confined strictly to my lab." He stated. "It would be most illogical."

"Never mind cyclops. Go and play with some of your toys." He turned to walk away. Nexus growled as Shockwave moved to do the same.

"I really hate that useless demon."

"At least I was made for something. Unlike you." He called back. "My family was made for a reason, what is yours?" She snarled, trying to leap down and take off after him and Sierra. Shockwave merely held her in his servo, trying to calm her through the bond.

"I'm going to kill him." She snapped.

"You'll never be rid of me darling. Remember that."

"I'll find a way!"

"Stop being evil and maybe you'll get rid of me. But there's no chance of that. You will spend eternity writhing in pain at my hands. One way or another." He continued walking, Sierra following. Nexus only glared at his back while Shockwave walked away.

-

"That was great Jason!" Sierra chirped, back to her normal, hyperactive self. Jason chuckled.

"Thank you little Sierra." He ruffled her hair and she laughed, shoving his hand away. "Now, I need you to tell me something. And please don't go off this time. You already scared my demons and your father's soldiers once today." She hesitated.

"It's about her isn't it?"

"Yes." She sighed shakily and nodded. "Where is she? So that I may give her what she deserves." She nodded and pulled a slip of paper from her pocket. She held it out and he took it, flipping it over. It was the business card for an insane asylum.

"Room four zero two." She whispered. He pocketed the card and she hugged him. "Please, make her suffer worse than she did my opi and I." He sighed and returned the hug. She muttered something else and he backed up slightly.

"What?"

"Please, big brother?" He smiled slightly and nodded.

"I will. I swear, little sister." She smiled as well and yawned. "Now go get some rest. Soundwave will watch over you."

"Thank you. For everything." She turned and walked off, heading for the control room. Jason shook his head slightly and looked up.

"Yes, though she is psychotic she really does grow on you." He chuckled. "Just don't tell Juliet about this. She'll think I'm soft."

With that he turned on his heel and vanished.

-

Nexus smirked as she cut into Galloway, earning pained howls from the man. "Now, tell me the location of the Autobot base."

"N-never." He growled. Nexus cut into his cheek this time, blood oozing from the wound.

"Tell me!"

"No!" She turned and backhanded him, making him wince in pain. "Stupid bitch." He spat, blood hitting the side of her face. Shockwave turned, feeling the pure rage seething within his mate. She grabbed another blade, his one slimmer and twice as sharp. Grinning, she dipped it in peroxide before coating it with a layer of salt.

Galloway struggled against his binds as the blade dug into his left shoulder, ripping across his chest and stopping just beneath the ribs on his right side. He screamed in pain, making Nexus grin in devilish delight.

"Stop it!" She turned, seeing a fearful Sierra in the doorway. Nexus turned on her.

"Sierra, perfect timing little dear. You were just in time to see me inject this useless worm with enough energon to kill a hundred humans."

"Opiluk said we need him alive. And he never told you to conduct an interrogation!" Nexus smirked.

"I'm not. The prisoner escaped and I am punishing him.

"Not true! ST-3V3 himself was guarding the doorway."

"That demonic moron? Please, he works for that so called king."

"Incorrect. ST-3V3 is my personal guard. And Jason promised me that he would not be possessed."

"Which is a lie." Sierra paused.

"I can tell which ones are possessed. I don't know how. But I can. And he's not one of them."

"You spend to much time with the boy king."

"Release Galloway. Or I call Megatron in here." She growled and released the restraints, shoving him to the side. Sierra walked over and helped him up, leaving the lab.

"Why did you help me?"

"Opi needs you alive. And I don't want Nexus to have the satisfaction of hurting another Autobot ally." He began to black out, spots filling her vision. "Stay with me. We're almost to Doc Knock's Med Bay."

He barely heard what she said as he collapsed. She sighed and shook her head.

"Frag."

-

Jason stood at the front desk of the asylum. "Room four hundred and two please." The woman looked worried before nodding.

"Family?"

"Somewhat. Her daughter is my friend." The nurse shook her head.

"Be careful. This one's one of our worst." He looked to her but she remained silent until they reached the fourth floor. Jason couldn't help but look around, finding all of the rooms unoccupied, save the sole room at the end of the hall. The nurse seemed hesitant to continue so Jason sighed.

"I'll go on my own. You can go back down." She all to gladly obliged, getting back in the elevator and taking off. Jason shook his head and walked forwards. The heat would be unbearable for any others but he continued on.

He opened the door and paused, looking to the floor. Confusion crossed his features as he saw the Devil's Trap placed in the center of the floor. He stepped in and saw movement out of the corner of his eye. He stilled, eyes widening at the sight.

Sitting on the bed was a woman of great beauty. Her hair was a golden blonde and her eyes a silvery-green. She stood, bowing sarcastically. "Jason. So grown up." She snarked.

"There's a face I'd never wanted to see again." He glared at her. "Pscipolnitsa."

"So formal. Call me Lady Midday." She stood and strode over to him, her gown semi revealing. "Now. What brings the king of hell to my corner of the world."

"I need to talk to you about your daughter." Her face paled.

"Sierra's alive?"
