Chapter Thirty-Three - Discovering Lilith's Plan

We both lie silently still in the dead of the night

Although we both lie close together we feel miles apart inside

Was it something I said or something I did?

Did my words not come out right?

Though I tried not to hurt you

Though I tried

But I guess that's why they say

Every rose has its thorn

Just like every night has its dawn

Just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song

Every rose has its thorn

Every Rose Has It's Thorn - Poison

(A.N.: So there's only one chapter left after this one and it includes a time skip. I hope they're good! ^.^ Also, as for the Korean in here, I used Google Translate so it probably isn't right. That translator hates me. lol Apologies in advance. Also the image above is Metallicar's holoform. I had fun with it. ^.^{C.M.})

Sam leaned against Arcee's alt, his eyes closed as the femme's holoform sat beside him. She was flipping through the pages, absorbing the information and storing it for later use. She wasn't even aware as Sam fell over, landing in her lap. She only noticed as he began to mumble in his sleep. A light smile crossed her lips as she tugged her fingers through his hair, calming him.

She heard Jazz and Prowl talking with Crosshairs in the corner, though she didn't understand exactly what they were saying. All she cared about right then was that the man on her lap was comfortable.

She didn't even notice that he was beginning to wake up.

-

"So wait. You're saying this... this... geumsog ui pyegimul, is actually your leader?!" Sierra yelled, making Dean look to Metallicar in confusion.

"It was Korean. It means waste of metal." As his continued confusion she shrugged. "Google."

"Ah. The almighty Google." He muttered, watching as Soundwave knelt in front of the enraged humanoid girl.

"Soundwave: Apologizes. Ironspa- Correction: Metallicar: Saved Soundwave's life. Soundwave: Owes femme."

"Ya don't owe me anything Sounds. You were a loyal second in command so we'll leave it at that."

"Negative. Soundwave: Wishes to aid Metallicar. Decepticons: Wrong." Sierra looked up at Soundwave.

"You don't mean to tell me that you're actually going to trust her!"

"Soundwave: Is sorry." Metallicar saw anger boil within her, the demoncons backing up slightly.

"Traitor!" She snapped, tears falling freely down her face. "And to think I loved you!"

Soundwave was forced to pause at her words. "Sierra: ..... Loved Soundwave?" She sobbed and nodded.

"With all my spark 'Wave." Jason smirked a bit, remaining silent as he watched the two. "I'm sorry. But I can't. You-"

"Soundwave: Loyal." He interrupted. "Metallicar: Saved life, gave Soundwave purpose. Megatron: Reformatted Soundwave's code." Sierra looked to Metallicar, confused.

"How? Autobots are evil, sparkless monsters. They drove my mother to abandon me! They threatened her with death!" Jason sighed.

"Really now, is that what your father told you?" She nodded aprehensively. "It's a lie. Autobots are the good guys and they certainly did not threaten her."

"Then why did she abandon me?" He could see her anger and sorrow, the feelings enough to make the demoncons flee. Jason looked away.

"I hope you know I really don't want to do this." He sighed before looking to Sierra again. "Your mother wasn't exactly human." Sierra froze.

"What?" Jason nodded, walking towards her.

"Your mother was like us." He stopped, his eyes flickering for a fleeting moment. "Your mother was a demon."

-

Alice scratched the back of her head, watching as Ratchet helped Optimus stand again. "For Primus sake femme. What did you do?!" The chartreuse mech demanded.

"Honestly?" She chuckled. "I just told him something."

"And what was that?" Optimus looked to her and nodded. She took a deep breath and looked to the medic.

"I told him that I loved him." Ratchet paused, glancing between the two. He smirked and stepped away from Optimus.

"Well I knew the two of your were together but I did not expect this!" Alice blushed. "Now. You two are-" Alice stilled, her head swimming as a pulse shot out from her charm, making her fall to her knees. She could see worry in Optimus' features before she collapsed on the desk. Optimus reached out, scooping her up and turning to Ratchet, who had already scanned her and was staring with wide eyes.

"Ratchet?" He asked, worried for the unconcious femme.

"The energon..." He whispered.

"What is it?" The medic remained silent and shocked. "Ratchet!" He jumped at the mech's outburst.

"She's growing a spark. Not like a sparkling but as in a spark that is consuming her heart. It's similar to Dean's case. Only hers is more violent." He gently passed Alice to Optimus. "I fear that, should this continue at such an alarming rate, Alice will not survive."

"There must be something I can do." Ratchet nodded.

"There is... one thing. But you won't like it." The medic warned.

"Anything please. Just to save the life of my femme." Optimus pleaded.

"You have to stay away from her until the change is complete." This made the Autobot leader pause.

"What?"

-

Sam was thrown into Arcee's side as his grinning doppelganger closed in on him. The shapeshifter was about to attack when Sam lunged, a silver blade in hand. The other laughed and grinned.

"Give it up Winchester. Your little girlfriend's out cold and the others are to far away." He threw Sam into Arcee's alt, causing it to fall over. She seemed to stir a little as the shapeshifter hovered over a nearly unconscious Sam.

"I'll be back shortly." He smirked before taking off. Arcee released her holoform and groaned in pain. She forced herself to transform, catching Sam as he slipped from her side. She collapsed onto her back, unintentionally placing the youngest Winchester right in the center of her chest.

"Ugh. 'Cee?"

"Yeah?" She winced, gouges marring her alt.

"Are you alright?"

"I'll be fine." Her gaze turned to him. "You?" He sat up, looking himself over.

"Nothing some beer and sleep won't fix." She chuckled a bit, not seeing Gabriel hiding behind him. He smirked and ducked back into hiding, flicking his wrist.

"This is gonna be good."

-

Metallicar and Dean winced slightly as Sierra's anger and fear hit them full force. She saw Bluestreak and Smokescreen stumble back, obviously not used to a demon's wrath. Both were unusually silent as Sierra began to break down, hugging herself as she fought not to cry. "No. No! I'm a techno-organic! That's all!" She yelled. Jason walked over and knelt beside her.

"It is the truth little sister. Your mother is a demon I once knew. Her name is Pscipolnitsa. Lady Midday." She looked to him and sniffled, rubbing at her eyes. Metallicar felt her spark melt at how broken the young girl looked. She walked over and knelt, taking careful note of how Sierra tensed.

"M-Midday?" She questioned. Jason nodded softly.

"She is the demon of heatstrokes and mid-day delusions." Sierra glanced down.

"It explains my sudden bursts of heat in the middle of the night." The king of hell nodded.

"Yes. And why you send such fear into both my demons and your father's soldiers." He reached out and gave her a gentle hug. "But with proper training you'll be able to control it." She merely nodded as Jason stepped back. She was about to inquire why when Metallicar scooped her into her servo. She hugged her close to her chest, where she looked up at the femme.

Were it another situation Metallicar would have passed it off as her maternal instincts kicking in. But as she looked at Sierra she saw her friends. Those who had joined the Rouge Kaonians. Of all there she was the only one who had or knew her creators. She could see the same pain in her optics that Blitzwing had displayed the day his creators had been offlined.

She gently hugged the little femme and looked down at her. Sierra's face remained confused and still hurt. Though it quickly gave way amusement as Metallicar smiled. She was about to ask what when Sierra began to laugh.

"Is there something on my face?" She asked. Sierra shook her head and pointed behind her, where Bluestreak and Smokescreen stood, barely visible over the femme's shoulders. She laughed and set Sierra down before standing. The mechs did the same, still standing behind the femme. Though they were nearly the same height, the mechs only a head shorter.

Sierra looked to Soundwave and walked to him. He knelt and she put a hand on his mask and smiled. "Sounds.

"I'm going with you."

-

Optimus looked through the doors at Alice's unconcious form. He had been pacing for the last hour and a half, waiting for her to wake up, just so he could tell her that he wouldn't be able to see her for a while. He knew she'd fight it tooth and nail. But he wanted so badly to tell her. To explain. He couldn't go without her knowing just what she had done to him.

He had to tell her just how much he loved her.

-

Sam stared with fearful eyes as Arcee cried out in pain, energon pouring from a severe wound. Quickly he pulled his glove off, focusing on the glow he saw. Almost instantly a face appeared in the reflection of Arcee's armor, confused. She then smiled.

'You are learning to control me, young Winchester.' Pain tore through him and the femme held up a hand, her own glowing as his did.

"Please. Help me." She bowed her head.

'I do not hold the power to do so anymore. You are more than just my vessel. You are the only thing keeping me alive. And as such, the only one who can freely access what I hold.' He strained to heal Arcee, letting out a quick breath when it didn't work.

"Who are you anyways?" He saw a flash pass through her eyes.

'Finally asking the right questions.' Sam felt a sharp pain as light flowed through him, one word echoing through his mind.

"Vitae." He whispered. With that the glow dimmed, soon vanishing. Arcee's wounds were gone, as was any sign that she was ever injured. He heaved a sigh of relief and looked to her. He didn't feel drained, as he thought he would have. Rather he felt energized. As if he could run around the city several times.

"Sam?" Arcee's voice brought him back to reality. He smiled and hugged her as tightly as he could as she sat up.

"Oh 'Cee. I thought I lost you." A pained smile crossed her face.

"No Sammy. I'm here for you. I always will be." He quickly looked up at her, blinking in realization. How her holoform had thrown herself in front of him to protect him, how she had guarded him as he slept. And, what he felt stupid for not having seen before, the look of pure admiration and affection burning in her eyes each and every time she looked to him. He felt like such an idiot for not having seen it sooner.

"Arcee." He sighed once more, his forehead resting on her chest. She ran a finger down his back as he looked up slightly. "Aren't you Chromia's sister?"

"Only by a remodeling. Chromia, Flare-Up and I were all damaged in the blast that killed our dearest friend. We were rebuilt in the same frame type and declared triplets." She replied.

"So... No relation to Chromia and her family?" She looked confused.

"No Sam. Why? What is this about?" It was his turn to avert his gaze as he fully took in what was happening. His crush had a crush on him as well.

"It's noth-" His eyes widened in shock as Arcee kissed him, the action akward with their size difference. But they managed to make it work. They only seperated a moment after hearing the door open.

"It's abou' time!" Both turned to see Jazz grinning, Prowl and Crosshairs both smirking behind him. "Ah take it back. This huntin' business ain't so bad afta' all!"

-

Nexus smirked as she stood over the doorway, watching Metallicar transform. Her holoform appeared, abdomen swelled in a representation of the protoform growing within her. A pleased growl escaped the woman as she thought of getting her hands on the femme and her sparkling. The pain she could cause her human mate.

Oh yes, she could have such fun.

-

Metallicar stopped outside of the door to the bridge, Juliet, Sierra, Dean and Jason all in her alt mode. Soundwave, Bluestreak and Smokescreen were all behind her, listening to what she was.

"Lilith. Your plan-"

"Is foolproof my lord." Lilith spoke to the Megatron. Dean glanced to Metallicar's holoform in confusion. She merely raised a finger to her lips as she listened.

"And so these... seals. Tell me more of them."

"My plan requires that I break a mere sixty-six of them. And one has already been done."

"Has it now?"

"Yes. It was broken by Dean Winchester."

-

Arcee glared at Gabriel as they waited to spring the trap. "So you're telling me you made my wounds worse so that Sam would freak out." He smiled innocently.

"I figured you two just needed to shut up and kiss already." She rolled her eyes and spied Castiel around the corner. She knew that just beyond him stood Sam, waiting patiently with Crosshairs and Jazz. Prowl was on the lookout a block away as they waited.

"Well then I guess that warrants a thanks from me." He looked at her, shock filling his gaze.

"I don't think anyone's ever really thanked me for one of my tricks."

"Well it got me the guy I like so I think it's appropriate that I thank you."

"I-"

::He's coming.:: Arcee transformed, Gabriel leaning on her alt. Her holoform appeared, projected across the lot. A few moments later Sam came running into view, a duplicate of him close behind. Arcee lunged, tackling the dopelganger.

"No! Stop! It's me, Sam!" He pointed. "He's the shifter!"

"What?! No I'm not!" Arcee looked between them, hesitance in her eyes as she held a silver blade.

"Sam?"

"Listen, 'Cee. It's me." The one standing spoke. "Please. He's the fake." Gabriel came up behind the other and held a blade to his throat.

"Come on Arcee. Figure this out." She glanced between them and raised the blade.

"If you're Sam, then I'm sorry." She whispered, drawing the blade along his palm. He howled in pain but nothing further happened. "Gabriel!" He was thrown past Arcee as the other grinned. She stood, ignoring the unconcious angel as she bolted towards the shifter.

The blade was thrown free of her hand as the shifter grabbed her by the throat. "I've never tried a woman's body. But one like yours." He purred, his free hand running over her side. "One like yours is an image of perfection."

"To bad it's not real." She spat. The false Sam stumbled back in shock as her holoform glitched and vanished, her alt mode trasforming quickly and pinning the shifter down. He chuckled a little.

"Such a magnificent piece of architecture." He marveled. "Such a shame I have to damage it." He kicked her, throwing her away. She rolled, slamming into a lightpole.

"Gah!" She winced, clutching at her side.

"Arcee!" Sam yelled.

"How touching." The shifter snarled. "And disgusting." Sam stood, wincing.

"Vitae." He called the All Spark's healing power, feeling a rush through him. The pain faded as he ran forwards. He slammed into the shapeshifter, shocking Arcee as the man flew back. "Don't you dare touch her!" The shifter grinned and chuckled.

"Now we're getting somewhere."

-

Metallicar drove to the flight deck, soothing Dean as she drove. "It's not your fault my spark." She reassured him, hugging him gently. His head dropped onto her shoulder.

"Baby." He breathed.

"Come on Dean. Let's get out of here." Her alt spun as they reached the flight deck, dozens of vehicons clustered to prevent their escape. Metallicar kicked her passengers out and transformed, towering defensively over them. She growled low, her servo curled close to Dean. Every last vehicon trained their weapon on him, making her blue optics burn a fiery red. Realizing their mistake they instantly turn their weapons to Soundwave and Sierra.

Soundwave picked Sierra up and cradled her close to his spark. That was when they saw Megatron, his eyes focused on Metallicar.

"Ah, Ironspark. Such a long time since we last saw one another like this. You hopelessly defending your friends." He spat. She growled as Megatron stepped forth. "I still recall your screams."

"Baby?" Dean breathed.

"Oh, you haven't even told your mate?" The warlord ignored Bluestreak and Smokescreen as they grabbed Juliet and Soundwave, leading them away. Metallicar refused to let anyone near Dean, her optics locked on the mech standing before her.

"Don't ya dare come any closer! Or I'll rip your fragging head off!" He chuckled.

"You would have done so much better as a Decepticon. Such beautiful anger. Just as I saw when you fought for Sunstreaker's life." Dean was frightened by the near roar that left his mate's throat. Her eyes had nearly turned black in their fury.

"It is your fault he nearly died that day! You were the one who stabbed him in the back!" Megatron smirked as Nexus walked forwards. Upon seeing her Metallicar lunged.

"Ah-ah. Your kind can't hurt me." She smirked. Metallicar's optics widened before narrowing.

"Any sparkling ya have will be just as corrupt and-"

"Is that what you say about Juliet." She snarled. "Now. His vehicons cannot harm you. But mine can." Several of them marched forwards, guns aimed at Metallicar. She glanced among them and then picked up Dean.

"My spark. I love you." She whispered. Dean paled with fear.

"Baby don't. I need you." A smile crossed her features.

"I need you too." And with that she threw Dean, his form flying over the heads of the vehicons and off the end of the Nemesis. The last thing he saw was Metallicar and several of Jason's demoncons engaging against Nexus' army.

"Baby!!"

(A.N.: So this took far longer than it was supposed to. I really didn't mean for that to happen. But everything here's been chaotic. I'll spare you the details but it's not been going well. So it may seem a bit dark in places. Sorry. Please. Enjoy. {C.M.})
