That was where he captured Farren Clearstrike, a thug who, rather suspiciously, let herself get caught.

But the news of his noble effort did not reach King Forthwind's ears, for Sir Troth, a powerful nobleman who commanded the dealings of Silver Knife Square, intercepted him. Linder was then sent to Brittlerock with a transfer order, far from the capital.

Seven years later, Farren Clearstrike shows up again in his life, with a different kind of trouble this time.
