Chapter XV
As he watched the two halves fall apart, Kruphix let out a laugh fit for a madman. <Enough of that sick bastard's pointless rambling, all that is just useless repetition anyway.>
"What the fuck?!" Someone shouted.
"Someone just killed Scars!"
"Who the hell does he think he is!?"
"I'll tell you who I know I am!" He shouted as he walked onto the small stage and took the microphone from a stunned lead singer. "My name Is Kruphix. I am the third-level god of Justice who serves under the Dark Lord Cthulhu. And the reason I am here, is because you, the Order of the Black Moon, have been allowed to live for far too long. And now, I will kill you. All of you. Prepare to die painfully by my hand." At this, he crushed the mic in his hand and dropped the sparking remains onto the ground.
"He's just a big-talker!"
"He's bluffing!"
"There's no way that guy's a God!"
With a massive sigh, Kruphix announced above the crowd. "My Gods! How many times must I say the same shit over and over again?! I. Do. Not. Lie! Under any circumstance, I will never lie. Especially today." At this, He lowered his blade to point at the crowd. "Your minutes are numbered."
"He's insane!"
"Come on! Let's just kill 'em already!" And with that, everyone stood up and ran towards Kruphix. As they surrounded him, he just looked over them casually and noticed that everyone but a couple had Jak's mark burning on their foreheads like a spotlight. One by one, he ran them through with Dawn, and since he didn't bother shaking off the bodies, all six of them were stacked on top of each other with the blade protruding through the top one.
"Well, I'll be, would you look at that? It's a bastard kebab! Oh well, away with old trash." After he announced this, he opened up a pocket dimension to his side and shoved the bodies into it and closed it once more. Soldier after soldier came running towards him, only to meet the same fate at the end of his sword; now, he was completely in the zone and thoroughly enjoying every second of it. <This feels so amazing!> He gleefully thought as he killed another one. <I haven't felt this way since I fought Jak!>
As predicted, the entire bar was now an absolute bloodbath. People's necks were snapped, their limbs severed, and lives drained. Some poor guy even tried to punch Kruphix, but he retaliated by swinging his head as hard as he manage directly into the soldier's fist, which ended with his arm gaining an additional two joints. Kruphix was just lunging toward another guy, when suddenly, he saw a flash of silver and the man dropped dead with a wooden handle with a wolf carved into it protruding from his temple.
"Vadina?" He questioned as he turned around to see his niece in her full battle garb with several knives held in each hand.
"Yeah? I want to have fun too! I can't let you kill everyone for me!" She then whipped around and threw five knives simultaneously, each flying directly into five soldier's eyes, making them half-blind and nearly screaming in pain. "Oh, I love this! The screams of the guilty is music to my ears!"
"Well, this is getting dull. Time to move on." At this, he pulled out his dual pistols, named Law and Order, and shot all except one of the soldiers in the wrists, blowing their hands off and letting them bleed to death. Finally, he holstered his guns and grabbed the survivor by the throat and lifted him three feet off of the ground.
"Now...Before I run out of patience, please tell me; where are your friends?" Even though he knew exactly where the rest of them were because of Jak, he decided to have a bit more fun as an interrogator.
"W-we're all up this neighborhood! These here parts are our turf! You'll never get all of us!" He tried to look confident by laughing in Kruphix's face, but it was saddening, to say the least.
"Really? Okay dude, I know you're scared shitless...literally...but please, be serious. Are you sure you're telling the whole truth?" He drew Order and stuck it into the man's mouth. "Please?" Since there was a rather large gun in his mouth, he could do nothing but grunt and nod his head while internally screaming to any God out there that he may live. "Okay. I'll give you thirty seconds to let you try to run." He tossed him onto the floor in front of the door. "One...two..." He scrambled to his feet and pulled the door open and ran like hell was on his heels, when in reality, it was quite the opposite.
After thirty seconds, Kruphix stepped outside and turned to Vadina. "You think you can make it that far?"
"Let's see, 200 yards away and gaining...With your help, yeah."
"Go for it." At this, Vadina took a lunge forward and hurled the knife as hard as she could. As the knife was about to hit the ground 150 yards away, Kruphix pulled out his gun once more and shot the handle of the knife, sending it careening the last 70 yards straight into the man's skull.
"Yes!" Vadina squealed happily as he jumped onto Kruphix and gave him a hug, in which she was promptly pushed off.
"We still have a job to do, you know. We can celebrate after we get Kiera back." He stoically said as he walked off to the town.
"Fiiiine!" She whined and followed behind. Meanwhile, People had heard the gunshots and were filling into the streets. One of them saw the two Gods in the distance and called to the rest.
"That's them! They're trying to kill the Order! GET THEM!!"
"Oh, this is going to be so much fun!" Kruphix laughed as he pulled out Dawn and broke into a sprint to the other members with Vadina following closely in his shadow. Both he and Vadina knew they were doing this for Kiera, and that not all of them did anything to her, and a good number didn't even know her, but they weren't doing this just for Kiera anymore; they were doing this for every single woman they had ever done similar things to.
As the moon slid out from behind the cloudy sky, Vadina took this opportunity to try something she had not used in an actual fight before; she raised her hand to the moon, and a stunningly bright beam of lunar energy came down from the sky and was absorbed into her body. She let out an ear-piercing howl as she dropped to her hands and knees and her body faded to black. The form then morphed into a wolf shape and grew to be ten feet tall, 25 feet long, and covered with incredibly intricate, glowing white markings.
As soon as she could, she leaped into the crowd and batted, crushed, bit, and generally destroyed person after unfortunate person and within minutes, the once relatively peaceful moonlight-drenched street was now saturated in blood and the mangled, dissected, broken, and unrecognizable bodies of several dozen gang members. Clearly disappointed, Kruphix kicked the head off one of the bodies in which Vadina playfully caught in the mouth and ate it up.
"Is this really it!? Come on! You put up all that talk, yet you couldn't even deliver mild amusement except for that one part in the bar?"
"Well, is there anyone else outside of this area?" Vadina asked as she shifted back to her human form.
"Not outside of town, no, because this is one of the few towns that rape is legal, for only the Trinity knows why, so they wouldn't so so stupid. But, there is one, and I have a few guesses who that one might be, do you?" Kruphix explained as he walked to where he felt Jak's aura emanate.
"Jake?"
"The same bastard."
Along with a rustling of a bag and chips, a voice came from inside a nearby building. "You called?" The gods whipped around to see the face of the voice, but they easily figured it out before they saw him.
