Udhav Singh Rajvansh...

It was not just a name, it was and is a legacy, Evil for the people who cross paths with him, god for the people who bow before him. He was born to rule.

A king.

And to become king it is necessary to give sacrifice, the sacrifice of a few dreams, family, your blood. Same thing he wanted for his son.

His Pride.

Arjun.

How can he explain to him that the girl for whom he is going against her father is just a distraction nothing else He, for the first time questioned his father's judgment and decisions and that Udhav Singh Rajvansh can never take His words are the ultimate verdict.

Nobody questions it.

He should have never let that girl enter his son's life. That was the decision he will regret forever. He thought that he bought a toy for his son's entertainment turn out that she was not just a mere toy but an obsession.

A passion that will blind his son. He thought that she was just a passing cloud like his other flings but what his hawk-like eyes missed is that she was not some cloud but a sky that stays whether it's night or day sky remains to fix.

He took the last sip of his scotch and went out of his office, his most trusted man followed him close behind. His brother soon came out of his office and bowed before him. This is what he likes power and bowed heads.

He knows that now Arjun is the king and the power he holds over the people Udhav can not control him now, but the truth will hurt and make Arjun whatever Udhav wants him to do. Otherwise, Arjun holds the insane power now, no one will listen to Udhav Singh Rajvansh when Arjun Rajvansh is present in the same space.

He hates it but cannot do anything about it.

He is having one hidden secret which is holding Arjun back, otherwise, Udhav has nothing now as compared to Arjun.

The power Arjun possesses over the Rajvansh clan is way beyond Udhav Singh Rajvansh's reach now.

"I hope everything is ready for tomorrow's function," he said to his brother who nodded and walked behind him.

Virat Singh Rajvansh is like a shadow to his brother. Never opens his mouth until his brother commands. He always stands by his brother's side whether he is wrong or right. So, when he saw his brother and son trying to put his wrongdoing on Arjun's head just so he would be separated from his new wife, he stayed mute as always.

He knows how much his brother loves power over others, therefore he never says anything.

But, now he was slowly regretting his decision, he should have taken responsibility for that one mistake. What if he had drifted away from his family, anyway his family is not an idol, a greedy wife, a disloyal elder son, and an ignorant daughter-in-law. Sometimes envied his elder brother's family. He had it all a lovely wife, and a gentlemanly elder son even though Krish is not his blood but people look up to how humble and kind King's elder son is. A sweet and kind daughter and daughter-in-law.

And Arjun...

His brother's pride.

A king whom people look up to. He is a true king, people idolize him more than Udhav Singh Rajvansh now. They think of him as their god. And why not he did what his elders were not able to do, he never feared for the crown before giving justice. Never favors anyone when it comes to making the right decision.

Virat always wanted his sweet little son to be like Krish and Arjun...humble and tough at the same time. Therefore despite his wife's protest, he sends his Sidharth with Krish. And, turned out his Sid was just like he wanted him to be.

And then there was his little daughter.

Aryana.

His...

Does he have any right to call her his daughter...he had abandoned her and never acknowledged her as his daughter.

When his family shamed her Arjun stood for her like a true father protecting his child. Ev enough she was not his in the first place.

When she fought for her little life, he stood to save her like a true guardian.

Virat knows he is fucked up. But, he is happy for his two children...they are delighted.

But now he had done something which will change many things. Things are about to take a turn and he hopes for everything to go well.

After all, he went against his brother for the first time.

Sampoorna Rajvansh...

A good wife, a great queen, an idol daughter-in-law, but a failed mother. Her elder son is away, and talks to her occasionally...it feels like an obligation that he is following for sake of being her son.

Arjun...

He never talks to her, though always takes silent care of her but never talks to her. Her daughter will cut all the ties from Rajvansh's.

She craves to see her grandchildren. Her children. But they refuse to see her or this family.

She was always partial to her children but, it was her fear that made her do those things. She was afraid that one-day truth will come out and everything will get destroyed but now looking at everything nothing is left to get destroyed.

Sometimes it is too late to regret what we did in past.

What she doesn't know is that her fear has already come true. Truth is out and many things are about to change.

Sampoorna take a photo frame from the table and looked at it. Every face in the photo is smiling but the fake smile is visible to her.

Her broken family is just pretending in front of the world.

She smile sadly looking at her younger son who was not even pretending to be happy he was just standing with his emotionless face.

Arjun...she is his culprit from his birth itself. A neglecting mother. Shallow a mother as he accused her in his teens.

She is the main reason why he is the way he is now.

Often women want to become just like her, they see her as their role model but Sampoorna knows the truth. She is anything but a role model, otherwise, her family will not be broken.

Arjun put on his shades getting down from his private Jet. His aura was screaming dominance and danger.

Just do the right thing this time.

Her words were echoing inside him throughout the ride. He is here to end what was started by someone.

"Did you ask him to meet me..." he asked Ron who was behind him like every time.

"Sir..." Ron nodded in approval.

Let's finish this hide-and-seek game once and for all.

Arjun saw a broad back standing in his office and smirked. With a dangerous smirk, he went inside like a predator going after his prey.

"I thought I will have a hard time meeting you, considering you never move an inch without, your so-called big brother's approval." He said in a monotonous tone.

"Why did you call me here son," Virat said without running around the bushes.

Somewhere he knows why Arjun is here.

"You thought that you will silently do everything and I won't know...now the question is why a person who never went against his brother did what he did...you do know that now nothing will hold me back from cutting all the ties with your brother and your family...nothing will hold me for punishing your son Viraj," Arjun said sitting on his leather chair like a King that he is.

"How is she..." Virat asked ignoring the angry eyes of his nephew.

Arjun banged his hand on the table growling at the man before him.

"She is mine..." he roared...

Virat smile sadly.

"I know...just want to know whether she is alright or not..." he whispers sadly.

"That's rich coming from the person who refused to acknowledge a child who needed blood and was on verge of dying...did you forget dear uncle? Your wife pushed a 2-year-old toddler just because she accidentally peed on her expensive carpet, you, my dear biological sperm donor refuse to give blood just because you were a coward" he yelled looking straight in his eyes.

Virat averts his gaze in shame.

"Always remember dear uncle Arjun Rajvansh never forget not to forgive, you and your family stay away from my family and daughter" he whispers venomously.

"And tell your fucker of a son to stop following Anaya otherwise you might never be able to see his dead body as well" he threatened and dismissed him with a flick of his finger.

Virat only nodded and went out.

Arjun smirked and pulled out his phone.

"Do it..."

He closes his eyes and throws his head back on the head of the chair.

I am going to do just the right thing, Anaya.

The constant ringing of the phone breaks the deep sleep of a couple...

"What..." he whispers irritatedly on the phone.

..............................

"What the fuck" the man sat with a jerk and yelled.

The woman beside him sit and rubbed her eyes...

"What happened baby..." she whispers rubbing his shoulder while covering her naked chest.

He without saying anything stood from bed in his naked glory still on phone.

"How the fuck this happened...any you bastard calling me now... fuck I am coming" he yelled over the phone and hurriedly put on his clothes.

Ruhani looked at Viraj worriedly and asked.

"Viraj what's going on..."

"My new factory catch fire somehow and ED is standing outside my house for investigation." He hurriedly said stopping her breath.

She also hurriedly put on her clothes and both went out of the hotel room.

He went to his car and she slide beside him.

"What the fuck Ruhani go back to your car..." he yelled at her.

She looked at him in shock.

"What I am coming with you...she said in a firm tone" buckling herself on the passenger seat.

"You want people finding out about us or what...that a sister-in-law and brother-in-law are together in the middle of the night...why...looking things are already messed up don't fuckup with me more..." he yelled and tried to give her reason.

"I do not care now, I don't want to hide more I love you Viraj...and I am going to be with you" she yelled back.

"Love..." he laughed.

"Ruhani we fuck nothing more... I love your sister and my children...you are just a bed warmer. If you forget you married that fucker Arjun..." he said mockingly.

"Shut up you very well know that he divorced me taking that girl's full custody that day," she said in anger.

"Oh... so now you want me to be your next shoulder...sorry to bust your bubble baby but I don't swing that way...we fucked that's it"

He came around opened the passenger door and yank her out. Closing the door he again sits on the driver's seat wheeling out of the hotel premises. Ruhani was still standing there with angry hot tears in her eyes.

Wiping the slipping tears she smirks. First that Arjun used her, but one thing was that Arjun was always clear about his intentions, but this bastard always took advantage.

She thought now she has nothing, Arjun divorces her after taking full custody of that child, she cannot go there as well, but Viraj... she won't leave this man.

She put her hand on her flat belly. She smirks...

"You are trying to get rid of me, but I have something that will bind us forever...Just wait Viraj" she went toward her car and start the engine.

She won't back out now even if it meant taking her sister's place.

Viraj runs toward his home where his very tense wife was standing with his sleeping kids in their nanny's arms. They left the Haveli( Palace) just a few months back shifting to this lavish Mansion.

"Where were you Viraj...I was calling you..." Shruti sobbed coming toward her husband.

He engulfed her in his arm and immediately stiffed after sniffing different perfumes on his body. He was not in the state of mind to see the discomfort of his wife. First, he visited the burned factory, and now this.

He broke the hug and moved toward the government man standing before him.

"Do you know what you all are doing...do you have any idea who Viraj Singh Rajvansh is...What power I have...have you thought before coming here..." He whispers threateningly at the office in command.

The officer only smirk.

"The name will not erase the corruption you have committed Mr. Viraj...and Rajvansh's name doesn't hold power over government...monarchy is over many years ago...I know you were CM of Rajasthan a few years back but now you are just an MP nothing else...your father resigned from the home minister's seat a few days back I am sure you know this. And about Udhav Singh Rajvansh, his downfall is near..." the office whispered slowly going near Viraj.

Smirking he let his colleague search Viraj's whole Mansion.

Five hours and the news of Viraj Singh Rajvansh's extortion is plastered all over the news. Not only that but his extramarital affirm news is also in limelight as one of his women reported her confirmation with proof to the police.

Media was all over the plaster around the Rajvansh's area. Question accusation everything was all over the country. A big scam by a powerful family was out.

Udhav was sitting quietly inside the parliament house as the opposition was accusing and party members were yelling at each other. Viraj was just looking at his brother silently. The man in front of whom no one dare to raise eyes was being questioned because of his family member's scam.

Udhav Singh Rajvansh with his brother and bodyguards came out of the parliament house where media surrounded him and his bodyguards tried to keep them on a bey.

Sitting inside the car Udhav was calm calmer than his nature.

He dialed one number...

"Sampoorna Ji pack your bags...let's go on a pending vacation" he cut the call and looked at his brother.

"Tell your nephew and my son that I no longer want him in my life... He is no longer a son of mine. Arjun wanted to see my downfall well here I am, I no longer wish to see him near me or my wife..."

He entered his room where he saw his wife sitting by the window and everything was just the way it was...

"I had asked you to pack our bags, Sampoorna Ji..." he said...

"Indeed I have packed Rana Ji..." she replied monotonously.

"Where"

She ignored his question and just asked...

"Can I ask you something and expect a true answer from you..." her tone held no emotion.

"Sampoorna Ji...everything ok," he asked concerned.

"Can I"

"Umm...yeah sure my dear..."

"Krish knows about his true identity now right..." she was looking out.

"Unfortunately yes..." he gulped

During their marriage, she took a promise from him that her child will never know about his birth truth and he promised her that if the child knows Udhav Singh Rajvansh will grant her wish to break this marriage if she wishes.

"But Sampoorna Ji it was not me...it was"

She cut him in between.

"40 years ago you gave me a promise and withholding that promise I promise to give you my whole self...and I did, you did too...you also kept your promise but now it is broken...Rana Ji now I don't wish to hold to that promise anymore"

"Sampoorna" his voice holds threat and fear.

"It's time for a woman to be a mother to all her children and ask for forgiveness...I am going to my children, hopefully, they will forgive me" she said standing and moving out.

Throughout the gate, Udhav is just watching her go away.

Arjun dialed the number...from the past 1 hour his eyes were glued to the phone debating whether to dial her number or not.

Finally, he did.

"Arjun" her groggy voice echoed in his ear.

He closes her eyes showering the moment. Her sweet voice, her pure and innocent voice.

"Everything good," she asked worriedly.

That's her even concern for the person who left no stone unturned to destroy a happily ever after for her.

"I did just the right thing..." he whispered closing his eyes.

"How are you feeling now" she whispered soothingly.

"Relived...like a burden is lifted now that everything is out..."

He paused.

"Father asked me to never show my face to him...and to be honest it feels like my caged mind and body are finally free..."

She hummed.

"How is my pup..." he asked smiling a little.

"Happy...healthy, she misses you though," she said smiling looking at her tiny fairy sleeping beside her.

"Promise me one thing Anaya please..." he whispered and his voice send a chill down her spine.

"Say something...one last promise please..." he pleaded.

Her breath stuck in her throat listening to him.

"I...I don't trust you Arjun" she whispered slowly almost inaudibly.

He chuckled sadly.

"Remember our first time...that night it was like I was worshiping a goddess...you are a goddess to me baby. But, that night I made a decision and I want you to believe me this last time...you told me that I should have talked to you 5 years back rather than running away like a coward...this time I want to do everything right...please......I beg you" he whispered last part almost inaudible.

She gulped clutching the duvet to her chest. Her eyes got teary listening to his tiered pleading voice.

"Promise Arjun" she whispered.

"I started my odyssey to find love...YOU. But, sometimes it's not in our destiny to get what we desire...if" he gulped his breath got heavy.

"If in near future by any chance destiny bring you back in front of me I won't let you go...but right now, it's not my time..."

A lone tear slipped from both of their eyes.

"I am letting you go...please take Aryana with you...raise her like the way you would have raised our child...make her like you..." he said now in a strong determined voice.

"Arjun" she whispered almost breathless.

"You promised Anaya...I want Anaya and Aryana to be together. With or without Arjun...I don't want my Aryana to become shallow of a human like me, I don't want my curse to fall on my both girls. I don't want her to become Arjun Rajvansh, I want her to be like her mother Anaya Gill..." he said

Both their hand clutched the phone tightly.

"By the time I come tomorrow I want you both gone..."

And the line went dead.

A loud crash was heard inside his office. And for the first time, he cried his heart out.

Ok, so by the last line I was not in the mood to write more. Believe me, I was thought to end this book here itself. It's almost the end, not THE END.

For the last 4 days, I was struggling with this chapter's last part and finally, it's done.
